DESCRIPCIÓN DE LA ASIGNATURA (Actividad Curricular) Una mirada a Inglaterra del siglo XIX como cuna del mundo moderno. Tras la Revolución Industrial Inglaterra se convirtió en la manufactura del mundo y en ella se lideraron procesos que moldearon el mundo tal como hoy lo conocemos. Nace el tiempo libre y con eso la sociedad de consumo. Los Victorianos crearon nuestros pasatiempos y modelaron los cambios de vanguardia. IV.
OBJETIVO GENERAL Comprender el proceso de la creación del mundo moderno. Inglaterra como cuna de la creación del mundo que conocemos y amamos. Entender que la revolución Industrial, que comienza en Inglaterra y que lleva allí una ventaja en el tiempo, crea cambios sociales que permiten la creación y el advenimiento de la sociedad moderna como una sociedad de consumo y de pasatiempos como nunca antes existió. V.
OBJETIVOS ESPECÍFICOS ( Aprendizajes Esperados) Comprender y analizar críticamente los cambios experimentados durante el siglo XIX en Gran Bretaña y comprender cómo estos procesos de generalizan al resto del mundo a posteriori. VI.

Comprende los cambios sociales vividos a causa de la Revolución industrial y vincula los cambios en el modo de vida en un modo multidimensional como consecuencias de este mismo proceso. Distingue las expresiones tanto de aprobación como de rechazo a los cambios industriales generados ene l siglo y entiende las expresiones artísticas del periodo de un modo comprensible y critico. VII.
METODOLOGÍA GENERAL DEL CURSO Clases teóricas en las que muestran los cambios en todas las dimensiones sociales vividos en Gran Bretaña y sus colonias durante el siglo XIX. Relaciona permanente con el arte y las expresiones artísticas del periodo mostradas como prueba fehaciente del cambio de mentalidad del periodo. VIII.
