THERE is a lot of pressure on Queensland breeders at present with sale weanling and yearling prices taking a bit of a tumble
and the cost of getting horses to the sale ring increasing regularly. With the breeding season just around the corner the CQTBA
may be able to take some of those financial pressures off you with the launch of our 2014 Stallion Tender. The process of
competing in the tender is quite a simple one and tender forms are on our website, www.cqtba.com, or can be mailed to you
by calling 0427 229 033. Once you have decided on the stallion/stallions of your choice you simply make a bid for the amount
you think you can win the tender for. If yours is the highest bid, and the stud is agreeable to your offer, you simply pay a 25%
deposit with the balance due on a 45-day positive pregnancy test on your mare/s. We would like to take this opportunity to

TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. Tenders must be lodged with the CQTBA Inc, no later than July 25, 2014.
2. Acceptance of any tender shall be at the sole discretion of the CQTBA and the highest tender shall not
necessarily be the tender accepted by the Club. Reserve prices may apply to some Services.
3. In the event of your tender being accepted payment shall be made to the CQTBA on the
following basis (A) Payment of a security deposit of 25% of the tender price within 7 days
of the tender acceptance (failure to comply will result in the Service being awarded to
another tenderer) (B) Payment of balance within 14 days of a 45-day Positive pregnancy
test.
4. It is the responsibility of the broodmare owner to correctly identify the mare
(accompanied by her document of description) on delivery to the stud and the stud
owner shall not be responsible for any problems arising from delivery of wrong mare. It is
their responsibility to confirm mare is free from any disease and in normal condition.
5. The stud shall have the right to reject any mare submitted which is considered to be unsuitable. Successful
tenderers shall advise CQTBA of the mares prior to going to stud.
6. The stud and CQTBA accept no responsibility for any accident/death/disease or injury to the mare whilst on a
stud property.
7. The stud is hereby authorised to engage a veterinarian surgeon at the owners expense to perform any service
or treatment as the stud consider necessary and reasonable and the tenderer agrees to pay this account.
8. The tenderer shall discuss all requirements and fees directly with the stud and abide by their requests.
9. The tenderer to pay all outstanding accounts to the stud prior to departure of the mare.
