EL ESTACIONAMIENTO DE LA PARROQUIA El estacionamiento de la Parroquia estará ahora cerrado para todos los vehículos y para transitar de
lunes a viernes. Durante este importante periodo de la reparación y renovación en nuestro Centro Parroquial, la empresa de construcción va a
utilizar este espacio. Para la seguridad de todos es recomendable reducir la cantidad de tráfico peatonal y de vehículos. También estamos muy
al tanto de las actividades ilegales que están teniendo lugar tanto en el estacionamiento y al frente de la iglesia, para la seguridad de todos
tenemos que tomar precauciones. Durante las últimas 6 semanas dos personas fueron rodadas en el frente de la iglesia. Nuestra policía está
constantemente en la calle. Muchos han hecho arrestos durante las últimas 6 semanas. En la recomendación de la Policía vamos a mantener las
puertas cerradas y permitir el estacionamiento sólo durante las misa los sábados y domingos. Si te estacionas en el estacionamiento, por favor
utilice la Avenida 55 de la iglesia para entrar y salir. Gracias por su paciencia en este importante asunto.
PARISH PARKING LOT: The lot will now be closed to cars and walk through traffic Monday to Friday. During this important time of repair and
renovation to our parish center the construction company will be using this space. For the safety of everyone it’s recommended to reduce the
amount of foot traffic and cars that enter. We are also very aware of illegal activity that has been taking place both in the parking lot and in
front of our church. For everyone’s safety we need to take precautions. Over the last 6 weeks two people have been shot in front of the church.
Our police are constantly on the street now and monitoring the problem. Many arrests have been made as well over the last 6 weeks.
At the recommendation of the Police we will continue to keep the gates closed and allow parking only during Saturday and Sunday masses.
When parking in the lot, please use the 55th Avenue of the church to enter and leave. Thank you for your patience in this important matter.

We continue with the Generations of Faith Campaign. In just two short weeks 9 of our
families have pledged almost $35,000. This is a wonderful start. To those who attended
the receptions, please return your pledge card complete this week to the rectory office or
drop it in the Sunday collection. Working together we will meet the goal of $330,000 and
even exceed it! In the coming weeks everyone will have the opportunity to pledge…
please pray for the success of the campaign.
Continuamos con la campaña de Generaciones de Fe. En sólo dos semanas cortas 9 de nuestras familias se han comprometido
con casi $35.000. Este es un comienzo maravilloso. Para aquellos que asistieron a las recepciones, por favor devuelva su tarjeta
de compromiso completa esta semana a la oficina de la rectoría o la puede poner en la colecta del domingo. Trabajando juntos

RENOVATION OF PARISH CENTER / REHABILITACIÓN DE CENTRO PARROQUIAL
The contractor had made 3 large holes in the center floor—about 5 feet deep
along the 55th Avenue side of the building. We have found many broken pipes! Both
water and sewage has been entering the building for a number of years. In some
places of the center we have lost more than 2 feet of the dirt foundation. Obviously
this is not good. The pipes are in the process of being removed and new pipes are
being installed. After this is complete we will be making large holes along the
classroom side of the center to see if the pipes over there are in the same condition.
We will also be putting cameras through all the pipes to see their long term strength
and if there are additional cracks. The contractors are working every day and the work
is not easy…and a bit smelly! At this time we have been told that the center will
remain closed until the end of October so that the necessary repairs can be completed.
Please continue to pray for the success of the work and the safety of the workers.
El contratista ha hecho 3 agujeros grandes en el piso del centro de casi 5 pies
de profundidad a lo largo del lado de la Avenida 55 del edificio. Hemos encontrado
muchas tuberías rotas! Tanto el agua y las aguas residuales han estado entrando en el
edificio por muchos años. En algunos lugares del centro hemos perdido más de 2 pies
de la base de la tierra. Obviamente, esto no es bueno. Los tubos están en el proceso
de ser retirados y se están instalando nuevas tuberías. Después de que esto se haya
finalizado, vamos a hacer otros agujeros grandes a lo largo del lado de las aulas del
centro para ver si hay mas tubos en la misma condición. También estaremos poniendo
las cámaras a través de todas las tuberías para ver su resistencia a largo plazo y si hay
grietas adicionales. Los contratistas están trabajando todos los días y el trabajo no es
fácil ... y huele un poco mal! En este momento se nos ha comunicado que el centro
permanecerá cerrado hasta finales de octubre, para que así las reparaciones
necesarias se puedan completar. Por favor, continúen orando por el éxito de la obra y
la seguridad de los trabajadores.

of initiation (Baptized into the Catholic faith but never received Confirmation and/ or Eucharist) or those Baptized in another faith

SCHOOL OF RELIGION REGISTRATION FOR 2016 ‐ 2017
Registration for the School of Religion will be held on :
Saturdays, October 8th & 15th: 12pm ‐ 4pm Sundays, October 9th and 16th
in the rectory. The registration fee is $85. Please come early to register your children.
Sunday School classes will start on October 30th. Thank You.
