Because mastering a foreign language is a cumulative, ongoing process, practice
is essential to maintain the skills you learned this year.
We recommend that you systematically review (weekly would be ideal) for
maximum benefit.
Part of this review is based on your Más práctica workbook. As you know, the
last pages of the workbook have grammar and vocabulary synopses for your
reference. In addition to reviewing those, you should complete any of the
exercises from Unidades 1-4 that you may not have been asked to do during the
school year.
A suggested schedule for pacing your review follows this guide. Check off each
section as you complete it.
Speaking and listening practice is also vital! We suggest that you find
opportunities to converse in Spanish, (e.g., with classmates, friends, relatives) and
listen to native speakers (e.g. Spanish TV and radio stations). Log in dates you do
this!
