1. Composing Composición
Combine general views with close-ups.
Compagina planos generales con primeros planos.
Fit the figure well onto the screen.
Encaja bien la figura en la pantalla.
Leave open space in the direction people
are headed.
Deja aire siguiendo un sentido lógico de dirección.
Avoid any objects that get between the
characters.
Evita objetos que se interpongan entre los
personajes.
Always record horizontally.
Graba siempre en horizontal.
2. Lighting Iluminación
You should record in natural light, out of
doors. At night-time or indoors the reduced
light makes recording difficult.
Procura grabar con luz natural, en exteriores.
Durante la noche o en interiores la poca iluminación
dificulta la grabación.

Be careful of backlighting. You should
always have the light behind you. The object,
or person being interviewed, should be
well lit.
Cuidado con los contraluces. Procura tener siempre
la luz a tus espaldas. Que esté bien iluminado el
objeto o el entrevistado/a.
Be careful of shadows. On occasions your
own shadow shows in the shot or is cast
onto the person being interviewed.
Cuidado con las sombras. En ocasiones tu propia
sombra aparece en el plano o proyectada sobre el
entrevistado.
3. Movement Movimento
For best picture results you should grasp
the mobile with both hands, especially for
interviews.
Para conseguir mejor resultado de imagen procura
agarrar el móvil con las dos manos, sobre todo para
las entrevistas.
Be creative. You can get very original shots if
you record from a car or motorbike, or if you
use a skateboard...
Se creativa/o. Puedes conseguir planos muy
originales si grabas desde un coche o una moto, o
si utilizas un skate...
You should not move the mobile too suddenly
while recording. The picture gets distorted and
it makes the spectator feel woozy.
Procura no mover el movil demasiado bruscamente
mientras grabas. La imagen se distorsiona y el
espectador se marea.

4. Sound Sonido
The microphone is in the mobile itself.
During interviews you should get as close as
possible to the person being interviewed.
El micrófono está en el propio móvil.
Durante las entrevistas procura acercarte lo máximo
posible al entrevistado.
If you are recording in the street you should
choose a place where there are no cars,
motorbikes, aeroplanes, air conditioning
units...
Si estás grabando en la calle procura elegir un sitio
en el que no haya coches, motos, aviones, aire
acondicionado...
During interviews you should not talk at the
same time as the person being interviewed.
If you are interviewing more than one person
let them speak in order.
Durante las entrevistas procura no hablar a la vez
que el entrevistado. Si estás entrevistando a más de
una persona que hablen en orden.
5. Note-taking Notas
Write down the names of the persons
interviewed.
Apunta los nombres de las personas entrevistadas.
