CLASSROOM CONNECTION
During the month of
March, we started our
study on farms. We create our own farmers market in the role play area.
Children have been
learning about the benefits of farms; the foods
that is produced, crops
that are grown, and how
they help our environment. We also have
introduced the concept of
money and how farmers
exchange what is grown
and produced on a farm
to make money. We
hope to visit the Easton
Farmers Market this
month as the weather
improves!
We have welcomed two
East Stroudsburg University interns into our classroom this Spring. They
will be working on a
project to teach the
children about community helpers. Children will
learn about the different
jobs that people have in
the community such as
police officers, mail
carriers, firefighters,
doctors, etc. They are
working hard to plan a
two week study and hope
to end the project with a
visit to our local fire
station.
For those children who
will be transitioning to
Kindergarten next year,
please make sure to call
and set up an appointment to register them for
Kindergarten. If you need
any support or have any
question about the
transition please feel free
to ask!

FAMILY CONNECTION
Our Parent Committee
meeting for March was
held at the gym area at
the Northampton St.
classroom. We are happy
to announce that 14 parents were present at this
meeting. We would like to
thank the parents for a
very successful meeting.
It was open topic for this
month and parents
touched various topics of
interest like Kindergarten
registration, end of year
extraordinary event, attendance issues, and children’s progress and concerns in the classroom.
Thank you parents for
your participation. We
encourage you to con tinue to attend our parent
activities . Please join us
at our next meeting. In
April. Details will be sent
out soon. Please remember to keep your child’s
medical and Oral health
up to date. This is important because soon children will be transitioning
to Kindergarten or back to
Head Start another year.

CONEXION DEL SALON
Durante el mes de Marzo,
empezamos nuestro estudio sobre las granjas.
Hemos creado nuestro
propio Mercado de agricultores en el área de juego
dramático.
Los niños han aprendido
acerca de los beneficios
de las granjas, la comida
que allí se produce, las
cosechas que se cultivan,
y como esto ayuda nuestro
medio ambiente.
Hemos introducido el concepto de dinero y como
intercambian los agricultores lo que cultivan y se
produce en las granjas par
hacer dinero.
Esperamos poder visitar
Easton Farmers Market
este mes si el clima mejora.
Hemos dado la bienvenida
a dos participantes de
East Stroudsburg University a nuestro salón de clase
esta primavera. Ellos estarán trabajando en un
proyecto de los trabajadores de la comunidad para
ensenarle a los niños.
Los niños aprenderán a
cerca de los diferentes
trabajos que la gente tiene
en la comunidad tales
como: Oficial de la policia,
carteros, bomberos, doctores etc. Están trabajando
duro para planificar un
estudio de dos semanas y
esperan terminar el proyecto con una visita a la
estación de bomberos.
Para los niños que van a
ir a Kindergarden el
próximo año, por favor
asegúrese de llamar y
programar una cita para
la registración de kindergarden. Sí usted necesita
ayuda o tienen alguna
pregunta acerca de la
transición no dude en
preguntar!

Se celebró Nuestra reunión del Comité de padres
de marzo en el área del
Gimnasio en los salones
Northampton St. Estamos
felices de anunciar que 14
padres asistieron este
mes. Nos gustaría agradecer a los padres por la
reunión tan exitosa. Fue
tema abierto para este
mes y los padres tocaron
varios temas de interés
como el registro de
Kindergarden, fin de año
evento extraordinario,
problemas de asistencia,
progreso de los niños y
las preocupaciones del
salón de clase. Animamos
a todos los padres a seguir asistiendo a todas las
actividades del programa.
Acompáñenos en nuestra

favor recuerde que man-
tener la salud oral y
médica de su hijo actualizada es muy importante,
