Votre promenade le long du Vieux Port, au pied du Suquet, est un moment
privilégié de découverte d’une ville qui conjugue luxe, modernité et tradition. Vous
admirerez sur le Quai Saint-Pierre les nombreux yachts, voiliers et pointus au
mouillage.
En continuant au bout de ce quai, une promenade sur le boulevard Jean Hibert
vous entraine à découvrir les commerces, restaurants ainsi que les plages du
Midi d’où il est possible d’admirer les roches rouges du Massif de l’Esterel.
Situé à l’angle du Vieux Port et jouxtant la gare maritime, se trouve le très célèbre
Palais des Festivals et des Congrès. Il accueille annuellement de nombreuses
manifestations de renommée internationale dont le célébrissime Festival de
Cannes en Mai.
Plongez-vous l’espace d’un instant, dans l’atmosphère du cinéma. Pour cela,
rendez-vous sur l’Esplanade Georges Pompidou où s’ouvrent à vous l’illustre
montée des marches ainsi que l’Allée des Stars avec les légendaires empreintes
de mains des acteurs réalisateurs et autres célébrités du 7ème Art passés à
Cannes.
La Croisette est un boulevard connu pour ses grands palaces ainsi que pour ses
boutiques de luxe telles que des enseignes prestigieuses de Haute-Couture ou de
maroquinerie et des joailliers.
HANDIPLAGE
Située sur la Pointe Croisette, au niveau de Bijou Plage, entre le Port Canto et
le Casino Palm Beach, cette plage vous propose de nombreux stationnements
à proximité immédiate. L’accès y est également facilité par une bande de
guidage. Elle dispose de systèmes de tiralos et de fauteuils amphibies ainsi qu’un
dispositif audio plage. Cette plage est surveillée du 1er juin au 30 septembre et
des handiplagistes seront à votre disposition.

ILES DE LÉRINS
L’embarcadère pour les îles de Lérins se trouve au Quai Laubeuf, sur la jetée
Ouest du Vieux Port. Un dispositif d’accès vous permettra de rejoindre sans
encombre les compagnies maritimes.
Afin d’apprécier votre excursion dans les meilleures conditions, il est vivement
conseillé d’être accompagné car les chemins ne sont pas goudronnés mais en
terre.
Sur Sainte-Marguerite, faites attention à la pente immédiatement à la sortie du
débarcadère que vous ne pourrez monter seul(e). Vous apprécierez la quiétude
d’un site exceptionnel où se conjuguent en toute harmonie nature et détente.
Depuis l’étang du Batéguier, il est possible d’admirer de nombreuses espèces
d’oiseaux migrateurs, tout en profitant des différentes essences végétales.
Néanmoins, le Fort Royal n’est pas, à ce jour, accessible en raison de la présence
de nombreuses marches.
Saint-Honorat, quant à elle, vous invite au respect de la nature et de la vie
monastique. Lors de votre visite, vous découvrirez un haut-lieu de spiritualité
fondé au Vème siècle : l’Abbaye de Lérins. Les moines cisterciens qui y vivent
toute l’année font preuve d’une intense activité pour produire d’excellents vins et
une liqueur nommée la Lérina.
LA ZONE COMMERÇANTE
Parallèle à la Croisette, véritable fleuron du shopping, la rue d’Antibes est
l’ancienne route royale impériale. Vous y trouverez les enseignes les plus
connues.
Dans son prolongement, la rue Meynadier, piétonne, est également incontournable
pour ses nombreuses boutiques et métiers de bouche. Cette rue revêtue de pavés
est praticable en fauteuil roulant et accessible depuis la rue Négrin.
C’est un voyage gourmand aux accents du Sud qui vous est proposé si vous
passez par le marché Forville ou encore par le marché Gambetta. Tous les jours
sauf le lundi de 7h à 13h, les producteurs locaux vous enchanteront avec leurs
fruits et légumes ainsi que les maraîchers et pêcheurs qui viennent y vendre leur
production.
Située entre la rue d’Antibes et la gare, découvrez également la rue Hoche, où il
fait bon flâner entre restaurants, cafés, et boutiques tendances.
Notez des rues accessibles telles que la rue des Etats-Unis et la rue du
Commandant André par exemple qui constituent le Carré d’Or de la ville. Ces rues
« branchées » sont commerçantes la journée et très festives la nuit tombée avec
leurs nombreux restaurants et lounge bars chics.

LERINS ISLANDS
The landing stage for the Lerins Islands is on the Laubeuf Quay, on the western
pier of the Old Port. An access device will permit you to reach easily the maritime
companies.
We advise you to be accompanied so you can enjoy your excursion because the
ways are not tarred.
On Sainte-Marguerite island, be careful to the slope immediately at the exit of the
landing stage which you will not be able to climb on your own. You will appreciate
the tranquillity of an exceptionnal site where nature and relaxation combine in
harmony. From the Batéguier pond, you can admire many species of migratory
birds, enjoying at the same time the various scents of nature. Nevertheless, the
Fort Royal is not accessible yet because of the presence of many steps.
Saint-Honorat island invites you, as for her, to the respect of nature and the
monastic life. During your visit, you will discover an important place of spirituality
founded in the 5th century : the Abbey of Lérins. The Cistercians monks who live
all year there show an intense activity in the production of excellent wines and a
liquor called la Lérina.

SHOPPING STREETS
In parallel to La Croisette, the street of Antibes, the main shopping street in town,
is the old imperial royal road. You will find there the most well-known boutiques.
In its continuation, you cannot miss the pedestrian Meynadier Street for its many
boutiques and its typical « provençal » shops. This cobbled street is accessible in
wheel chair from Négrin Street.
It’s a gourmet journey with southern overtones which offers you the Forville
market or the Gambetta market. Every day, except Monday from 7am to 1pm the
local producers will delighted you with their fruits and vegetables as well as the
market gardeners and fishermen who come to sell their production.
Located between the street of Antibes and the train station, the Rue Hoche is a
street where you can stroll between restaurants, cafés and trendy shops.
The Etats-Unis Street as well as the Commandant André Street for example are
also accessible and constitute the Golden Square of the city. These trendy streets
are commercial during the day and very festive at night with many restaurants
and elegant lounge bars.
THE OLD CITY
The old town of Cannes is located on the hill of « Le Suquet ». At the top, you will
discover a panoramic point of view on the city, the port, la Croisette and the Lérins
Islands.
Picturesque small streets (Saint-Antoine Street, Suquet Street, Traverse de la
Tour, etc.) make this area sloping and crossed with sinuous staircases. Thus the
this district can be visited with the little tourist train which starting point is next to
the Palais des Festivals and Congresses.

La vieille ville de Cannes est située sur la colline du « Suquet ». A son sommet,
