The X-ray pin is used to safe guard the position of the mini screws (e.g
T.I.T.A.N.-pin). Normally an actual Orthopantograph is sufficient to radiologically secure the position of the screws in order to estimate the osteal situation, the position of the adjoining roots or dental crypt, to estimate the topographical proximity of nerves and vessels respectively and to decide on a continuous
art of diagnosis. Here the X-ray pin is used to mark the position of the screw or to
function as a control point within the X-ray.
To make sure the X-ray pins are not aspirated or swallowed, the pins must be tied
at the groove beneath the mushroom shape head, using a piece of dental floss,

Der Röntgen Pin wird zur radiologischen Absicherung der Position von

Zum Schutz gegen Aspirieren oder Verschlucken werden die Pins an der kleinen
Rille unter dem Pilzförmigen Kopf mit etwas Zahnseide angebunden, das gegenüberliegende Ende führt aus der Mundhöhle heraus und kann an geeigneter Stelle
fi xiert werden.

Gli X-RAY PIN sono progettati per facilitare il corretto posizionamento dei mini impianti (es.TITAN). Una moderna ortopantomografia è sufficiente per individuare la posizione dei mini impianti dato che ci
fornisce la situazione ossea, la posizione delle radici, la presenza di nervi
o di vasi sanguigni ed eventualmente ci suggerisce di effettuare ulteriori
controlli. Gli X-RAY PIN ci consentiranno di individuare la corretta posizione
o di costituire un punto di controllo sulla radiografia.
Sarà opportuno legare con del filo interdentale, appena sotto la testa a
fungo l’X-RAY PIN ad evitare che lo stesso possa essere inghiottito o risucchiato dalla cannula aspirante.

(por ejemplo el T.I.T.A.N pin). Normalmente una ortopantografía
real es suficiente para radiológicamente asegurar la posición de los tornillos y estimar la situación ósea, la posición de las raíces contiguas o la
cripta dental, la proximidad topográfica de los nervios y navíos respectivamente. Por eso, pin X-Ray se usa para marcar la posición del tornillo o para
funcionar como un punto de control.
Para asegurarse que el pin X-Ray no es aspirado o tragado, debe atarse por
el surco bajo la cabeza, usando un pedazo de hilo dental, el final se conduce
por la cavidad oral hasta fijarlo en un punto adecuado.

L’épingle X-ray est utilisée pour garantir la position de la mini vis
(T.I.T.A.N-Pin) Habituellement une radio est suffisante pour vérifier
la position de la vis et d’évaluer la situation squelettique, la position des
racines, la proximité de nerfs ou de vaisseaux sanguins. L’épingle X-ray sera
utilisée pour marquer la position de la vis ou pour fonctionner comme un
point de contrôle sous rayons X.
Pour éviter l’aspiration ou l’ingestion de l’épingle, avant d’être posée elle devra
être attachée à un fil dentaire sous la tête de l’épingle, puis elle sera fi xée
à l’endroit adéquat.

To mark the insertion position place the pin crestal to the
mucogingival borderline. A local anaesthetic can be helpful
with algesic patients.

mukogingivalen Grenzlinie eingebracht. Eine Lokalanästhesie
kann bei schmerzempfindlichen Personen hilfreich sein.

mucosa appena sopra il margine crestale. Si suggerisce di
praticare una preventiva anestesia locale nei pazienti più
sensibili.
