Industry.
On January 30th 2013, the International Award for
Tourist, Hotel and Catering Industry was presented in
Madrid (Spain), awarding ten companies worldwide.
This prize was created by the Global Trade Leaders’
Club and is granted to all outstanding enterprises and
organisms for their excellent labour in the tourism and
catering fields.

El pasado 30 de enero se entregó en Madrid el Trofeo
Internacional de Turismo, Hostelería y Gastronomía
a diez empresas procedentes de todo el mundo. Este
premio lo concede el Global Trade Leaders’ Club, y
se otorga a aquellas empresas y organizaciones que
hayan destacado por su labor a favor del turismo y la
hostelería.

On January 30th 2013, the International Award for Tourist,
Hotel and Catering Industry was presented in Madrid
(Spain), awarding ten companies worldwide. This prize
was created by the Global Trade Leaders’ Club and is
granted to all outstanding enterprises and organisms for
their excellent labour in the tourism and catering fields.
The programme started with a work meeting where all
the awarded companies´ representatives introduced
themselves. The Global Trade Leader’s Club, an association
of entrepreneurs established to encourage business relations
at an international level, was then briefly presented by Mr.
Roso López, Secretary General, who also handed over the
certificate to all awardees as a special distinction to the
managers of each company.
After the work meeting, all the attendants were invited to
visit FITUR (International Tourism Fair), held in Madrid and
considered as one of the most important tourism fairs in
Europe. The Global Trade Leaders’ Club´s Public Relations
Team accompanied the attendants to visit national and
international exhibitors gathered at the fairgrounds. The

to present and introduce
themselves.
award dinner took place at about 8.30pm, with all the
trophies, designed by the Spanish sculptor Ixidro and
representing a wild bull, displayed on the main stage.
The dinner was presided over by Mr. Ricardo Roso López,
Secretary General of the Global Trade Leaders’ Club, who
shared the head table with the diplomatic representatives of
those countries whose enterprises were awarded.
The representatives of the awarded companies were invited
to come forward to the stage one by one, to receive their
prizes from the authorities invited by the Global Trade
Leaders’ Club.
The ceremony was closed by Mr. Ricardo Roso López, who
congratulated all the award winners and encouraged them
to continue their hard work in tourism, underlining the fact
that it represents one of the most important fields for each
economy. Indeed, it provides part of the foreign exchange
transactions and is essential for international relations
between people, countries and different cultures. His speech
was warmly applauded by the attendants and closed the
award presentation.

FITUR, La Feria Internacional
de Turismo de Madrid,
considerada como una de las
más importantes del sector.

Global Trade Leaders’ Club.
Sobre las ocho y media de la
tarde dio comienzo la cena
ofrecida con motivo de la
entrega del trofeo -una bella
escultura que representa un
toro, creada por el famoso
escultor Ixidro- y que tuvo
lugar al finalizar la cena

por los representantes
diplomáticos acreditados en
Madrid de aquellos países
cuyas empresas iban a ser
galardonadas y que, una
vez finalizada la cena de

al mismo tiempo a continuar

celebrating meetings in PARIS, GENEVA,
MADRID, and other cities.
