It is our privilege to have Fr. Ted Dorcey, CSsR to lead us in
our Holy Ghost women's retreat. His presentations will be focused on "Walking in Jesus' Footsteps". In John 8:12...The
Lord says; "whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but
will have the light of life." Please join us April 5, 2014 for this

GABRIEL PROJECT
Gabriel Project wants to give our appreciation to all of our Parishioners who donated
to help our Pregnant Moms in need here in
our Community during the weekend of our
Diaper Drive. Thanks you so much, God
bless you all.
Gabriel Project will be praying the Rosary on the last Saturdays
of every month in front of our Blessed Mother on the Chetwood
side of the Church at 1:30 pm. You are welcome to join us. If
raining will meet inside the church by our Lady of Guadalupe.

HOLY GHOST YOUTH GROUP
The Holy Ghost Youth have prepared a “Taize
Stations of the Cross” experience for all parishioners. The prayers put to song and the
music have been written by the youth. Aaron, our Seminarian,
has worked with us and will assist in leading the Stations. This
will be in the Church Hall at 7:30 PM on April 11th, 2014.
Light refreshments will be served following the Station. Please
join our youth in this Lenten experience. Please contact Jo Scalise at 281-797-2362 for additional information.
HOLY GHOST SCHOOL
2014-2015 REGISTRATION
Holy Ghost School is now accepting new students for the 2014-2015 school year. Families
may pick up the registration packet at any time
between 7:30 am - 3:30 pm in the school office,
Monday through Friday. There are openings on all
grade levels from PK3 through the 8th Grade.
Forms for tuition assistance are also available in the school office.

2014 - 2015 REGISTRACION. La Escuela Holy
Ghost está aceptando nuevos estudiantes para el año
escolar 2014-2015. Puede recoger su forma de registración de las 8:30 am a las 1:30 pm en la oficina de la
escuela de Lunes a Viernes. Hay cupo para los niveles
del Pre kinder 3 al grado 8. Toda la información para
los pagos y becas está disponible en la escuela.
GUIA PARA LA CUARESMA
Viernes Santo - Son días de ayuno y abstinencia.
Viernes de Cuaresma - Son días de abstinencia.
Ayuno - Es para personas que han cumplido 18 años hasta los
que han cumplido 59 años, a menos que tengan condiciones de
salud. En días de ayuno, una comida completa es permitida. Y
dos comidas pequeñas que le permitan mantener sus fuerzas
pueden hacerse de acuerdo a las necesidades de cada persona.
Comer entre comidas no es permitido, pero si tomar líquidos.
Abstinencia - Es para todas las personas que han cumplido 14
años, a menos que tengan problemas de salud. En días de abstinencia no es permitido comer carne. Durante los Viernes de
Cuaresma no se debe comer carne, pero si lo hace no es un pecado.
