El objetivo del presente trabajo es destacar la importancia del Psicodiagnóstico de
Rorschach en el área de aplicación de la Orientación Vocacional. Dentro de la
selección de la batería de técnicas a utilizar no siempre se lo elige, debido a
objeciones de tiempo y de capacitación. Sin embargo, la propuesta es hacer hincapié
en las ventajas de dicho test y la riqueza de sus resultados, específicamente en esta
área.
Dentro del proceso de Orientación Vocacional, el Rorschach sirve para poder
contrastar toda la información que surja de las entrevistas, de lo observado en las
dinámicas grupales (o role playing), y de las técnicas objetivas, que responderán
seguramente sólo a intereses vocacionales más de tipo conscientes.
No solamente brindará datos sobre los intereses del evaluado, sino profundizará la
mirada sobre su personalidad, además de permitir observar también cuál es su
respuesta cuando el estímulo es más ambiguo.
Otros datos que se pueden extraer del test tienen que ver con el tipo de perfiles que
son necesarios que aparezcan de acuerdo a las áreas profesionales u ocupacionales
que el adolescente está eligiendo.

ABSTRACT
A PROPOSAL FOR USING RORSCHACH INKBLOT TEST IN THE AREA OF
VOCATIONAL GUIDANCE –PROFESSIONAL PROFILES.
The aim of this piece of work is to show the importance of Rorschach Inkblot test in the
area of vocational guidance. Among the set of available methods, it is the less used
due to time and training constraints. The thesis of this work is, however, to stress de
advantages of the test and the richness of its results in this specific area.
In the vocational guidance process, Rorschach is used to contrast the information
obtained in the interviews, from the observation of the group work or role playing, and
the objective techniques that answer to conscious career interests.
Not only can Rorschach provide data about the subject’s interests, but will allow for a
deeper view about their personality, besides showing answers to more ambiguous
stimulus.
Other factual information that can be obtained through Rorschach Inkblot has to do with
the type of profiles that are required for each professional field or job that the
adolescent is choosing.
