Title VI Notice
The Herkimer-Oneida County Transportation Study (HOCTS) is committed to ensuring that no
person is excluded from participation in, or denied the benefits of, its metropolitan transportation
planning process on the basis of race, color, national origin, gender, age, disability or economic
status as provide by Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and related statutes. If you believe
you have been subjected to discrimination under Title VI, you may file a complaint with the
HOCTS by sending your written complaint to their host agency Attention: Oneida County,
Commissioner of Personnel, 800 Park Avenue Utica, New York 13501.
Complaints may also be filed directly with the Federal Highway Administration, at FHWA
Office of Civil Rights, 1200 New Jersey Avenue SE, Washington, DC 20590.
