Hello,
The service and concept is nice but it doesnt work.
Web chat module only rings iphone, if the app is open on screen.
I need to have spare iphone with the autolock disabled to use it :)
I have 4gs with 5.1 ios
Web chat never rings iphone when locked and not even though iphone is unlocked but app not running

Please try rebooting your phone and restarting the JLive! Chat mobile app because sometimes the
JLive! Chat Mobile app doesn't register the push notifications on the first launch and needs to be
rebooted in order for the push notifications to work properly when the screen is locked, but it does
indeed work in background mode when the phone is locked :)

Yes I restarted iphone, closed the app.
Restarted the app and now it is working! Thanks.
Now it works even if your iphone is locked.

I am having the same problem with iPhone not notifying of chat requests when locked. Works when
unlocked. I restarted iPhone and relaunched app several times and still does not work.
iPhone 4S iOS 5.1.1
JLive! Chat Mobile ver 3.0-1.7.0-1.7.2

Yes, unfortunately I faced the problem when I buy the app..
The free version is working fine (which I see no longer available).
Then I liked the app, bought the paid version but this time it doesn't work..
I use 4S too..
Any solutions?

Hi Peter,
No, we have not encountered any issues or anyone else reporting that push notifications aren't working.
Please try rebooting your phone to see if that helps. Also please be advised, that per Apples website,
push notifications are always 100% gaureented to get to the mobile device on time depending on the
traffic of their push notifications servers at the time, so sometimes the push notifications are delayed a
little.
Please also be advised that we are currently getting ready to release the new version of JLive! Chat
Mobile which has many upgrades and enhancements in regards to the push notifications feature. That
new version should be released in the next week or so.
Please let us know if we can be of further assistance.

Hmm.. I tried everything.. Uninstalled the app, reinstalled, deleted operator, added new operator.. turned
push off and then back on in admin.. I'm all out of idea.. of course hard resets of iPhone between every
step.

Can you please try rebooting your phone now. I have reset your push notification account and it might
work better now. If it still doesn't work after rebooting and re-launching the app, then Apple might be
experiencing delays with their push notification service, in which case we will need to wait until they
come back up.

There was an issue with our push notification server which was causing our push notifications to not
work properly. We have corrected the issue today so push notifications should be working fine again
now.

Hi.. I'm still having no luck at all on all 3 of our devices. I updated to the new version..hard reset phone..
nothing.. any further ideas? I haven't been able to use chat for weeks now.. thanks..

We have found and corrected a few more issues with our push notification server after I posted my last
reply and we have just implemented the changes NOW, so please try rebooting your phone and
re-laucnhing the app now and it should work fine :)

can I get any further assistance or support on this?
today I completely uninstalled everything and fully deleted my joomla installation.
I then reinstalled joomla on my site.. and reinstalled the component, module, and plugin.
I uninstalled my jlive iphone app.. hard reset my phone.. and then redownloaded the app and set back
up the operator
Even after ALL of this I'm STILL not getting any push notifications..
There basically is nothing further that I can do at this point.
How can I get help on this? Even if I have to pay.. Please HELP :(

tengo el mismo problema y nadie puede ayudarme, por favor se supone que deben atender bien a sus
clientes, su herramienta cuando funciona es perfecta, pero cuando ipphone push doesnt work at all. not
