Welcome to Uriah Hill Pre-Kindergarten, where we learn through play!
This month in Pre-K we are learning about plants, their life cycle from seed, to plant, to flower and food.
We will even have our own classroom farm stands! We will also have a book fair on May 7th and 8th
(along with parent/teacher conferences) and our “Spring Sing-a-Long” on May 13th. On May 21st, we will
take a school trip to Bear Mountain where we will visit the zoo to see animals in action. Every day,
through song, dance, chant and fun, we are reading, discussing, drawing, counting, building and writing
too! Come see our “Uriah Hill Reads” bulletin board outside the main office! Ask us about the alphabet,
how to write our name, how to count and sort, and about all of the books we’ve read! Most of all,
please keep reading and talking to us every day. Point out colors, letters, and shapes, or ask us to find
them. You’ll be surprised how much we know!

¡Bienvenido a la Escuela de Uriah Hill Pre-Kindergarten, donde aprendemos a través del juego!
Este mes en Pre-Kindergarten, estamos aprendiendo acerca de las plantas, su ciclo de vida de semilla a
planta, a flor y a comida. ¡Incluso tendremos nuestros propios quioscos de granja en las aulas de clases!
También tendremos una feria del libros el 7 y 8 de mayo (junto a las conferencias de padres y maestros)
y nuestro "Cante Conmigo de primavera" el 13 de mayo. El 21 de mayo tomaremos un viaje escolar a
Bear Mountain, donde visitaremos el zoológico para ver los animales en acción.
¡Cada día, a través de canciones, danzas, canto y diversión, estamos leyendo, discutiendo, dibujando,
contando, construyendo, y escribiendo también! ¡Venga a ver nuestro tablón de anuncios "La Escuela
de Uriah Hill Lee" fuera de la oficina del principal! ¡Pregúntenos sobre el alfabeto, cómo escribir nuestro
nombre, como contar y ordenar y sobre todo sobre los libros que hemos leído!
Sobre todo, por favor sigue leyendo y hablando con nosotros todos los días. Señalar las letras, colores y
formas, o pedirnos que los encontremos. ¡Se sorprenderá de lo que sabemos!
