Judith Albright. Join us as we discuss the apparitions
of Mary in Garabandal, Spain in the early 60’s. Due

It’s the Merry Month of May—Time
to give honor to Mary! The library
staff has pulled out several books
on Our Lady and placed them on
the cart in the Narthex. There are
more books on Mary and Marian devotions in the
library. She continues to call us to follow her Son.
We also have many children’s books on Mary.
Come on in. Check us out!

KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS CORNER
When Fr. Michael J. McGivney founded the
Knights of Columbus in 1882, the Order’s 1st
Principle was and is “Charity”. Widows and their
family can be destitute after the death of a
spouse. Knights will always be committed to
helping any widow and family in tragic circumstances. A team of Bothell Knights is helping a
family today deal with that tragedy. They are
helping with the estate sale, finances, relocation
and furniture moving.
 The Bothell Knights will be hosting the July 24th
Malawi Benefit Dinner at our Bothell Rental Hall.
Our Sister Parish Committee wants to raise donations to help the representatives for St. Joseph
parish in Malawi travel to the United States to
meet our St. Brendan parishioners. Tickets will
be available starting in late June.
 Each time Archbishop Sartain or Bishop Eusebio
Elizondo preside at a ceremony in our parishes,
the Knights will assemble a Honor Guard. Sunday, May 1st, 54 candidates from Woodinville
and Bothell received the sacrament of Confirmation at Blessed Teresa of Calcutta. Many Knights
were sponsors for the candidates. Host Pastor,
Fr. Frank Schuster and Co-Host Pastor, Fr. Jim were
very appreciate of the Knights support.

THÉRÈSE: THE STORY OF A SOUL
Thérèse: The Story of a Soul, the moving, live production performed by actress Audrey Ahern and directed by Patti Defilippis of St. Luke Productions
will be presented at St. Brendan Church on Friday, May 20 at 10:00 am
after the All-School Mass with the school community. All parents, family,
parishioners and guests are invited. In this one-woman performance,
Therese speaks directly to you, the audience, with humor, grace and humility. Her honest, direct spirituality speaks powerfully to our busy culture with
the encouraging message that anyone can become a saint. The program is
filled with the elements of a professional theater, runs 75 minutes and is
suitable for all ages. Admission is free. Watch the trailer and learn more at
www.ThereseDrama.com.
YOUNG AT HEART SENIORS
St. James Cathedral tour is planned for Wednesday, May 11 at 1:00 pm.
Following the tour, we will be guided to walk through the Door of Mercy. After
the Door of Mercy, we will have a late lunch at Jimmy’s on Broadway. The
address is 1100 Broadway on Capitol Hill in Seattle. There is a 3-hour complimentary parking for those who are eating at Jimmy’s on Broadway in the
Silver Cloud Hotel garage. We will attend the 5:30 pm Mass at St. James Cathedral. The Cathedral’s address is 804 Ninth Ave., Seattle. You may leave
after the tour if you wish; however, the bus will not return to St. Brendan until
after the 5:30 pm Mass. Parking is tight, so carpooling is suggested and the
St. Brendan bus will be available for riders on a first-come basis, leaving St.
Brendan Parish at 12:00 pm. Please RSVP to Donna Hurley at 425-4881373 by Monday, May 9, if you able to attend or if you have any questions.

THE ASCENSION OF THE LORD
Jesus ascended into heaven blessings His disciples and promising that they
