the Cathedral has impacted your life and/or family, or you can simply sign
your name. We would like to leave a written legacy of the importance of
the Cathedral to the many families who have given so generously of their

Invitamos a personas

Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament: After many months of
prayerful discernment, the Pastoral Council voted to suspend First Friday
Adoration and Wednesday Holy Hour due primarily to the limited
participation of the faithful as evidenced by the few number of people who
have observed these devotions when offered.
Communication has begun amongst organizers of Wednesday Holy Hour
and if you are truly committed and willing to lend your support in coming
each week and gathering others from our parish to consistently make time
for Christ in the Blessed Sacrament, contact Juliet Morgan at
[email protected]. Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament is offered at
the following parishes:
 San José—Perpetual Adoration;
 St. Louis, King of France—Mon.-Fri., 7am-5pm;
 St. Catherine of Siena—Perpetual Adoration;
 St. John Neumann—Wed., 9:15am-7pm;
 St. William-Perpetual Adoration.
 San José-Adoración perpetua;
 St. Louis, King of France—De lunes a viernes, 7am-5pm;
 St. Catherine of Siena—Adoración perpetua;
 St. John Neumann—Miércoles 9:15am a 7:00pm;
 St. William-Adoración perpetua.
Bishop Vásquez’ prayer intention:
For the Church, that each of us cooperates with God’s grace so
that Christ will be seen in all we do.

Stewardship of Treasure
Pentecost Sunday
One miracle of Pentecost was that, despite their
diversity, each listener heard God’s word in his
or her own language. The meaning for
stewardship is that, by sharing the gifts poured
out on us by the Holy Spirit, we will be
empowered to meet the needs of our brothers
and sisters, whatever they may be.

The Catholicism Project—A Journey
Deep into the Faith: Do you want to know more
about the Catholic Faith? Fr. Robert Barron has created a
groundbreaking program as a thematic presentation of what
Catholics believe and why, so all adults can come to a deeper
understanding of the Catholic Faith. Not a video lecture,
Church history, or Scripture study, this engaging and interesting
formational program uses the art, architecture, literature, music
and all the treasures of the Catholic tradition to illuminate the
timeless teachings of the Church. The program consists of 10
compelling episodes on DVD that reveal the truths of the
Catholic faith in a visually breathtaking and compelling way,
with original, high-definition cinematography. A discussion of
the theme will follow each DVD presentation. DVD’s will be
shown on Tuesday evenings, 6:30pm, starting May 24, in the
Donahue Center Cafeteria and ending July 26. Ther e is no
cost for this presentation. Any questions, feel free to contact
Deacon Vince at 512-576-4788.

people. Give great joy as they proclaim the Good News of your Resurrection,
