As the new Director of Development and Marketing for Saint Andrew Catholic School, Belinda
Resendez is committed to fostering and developing financial and educational endeavors.
Belinda graduated from Santa Clara University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Political
Science and Communication. While at Santa Clara University, she worked closely with their Vice
-President of University Relations and Development Office where she engaged in donor cultivation. In addition, her list of accomplishments include grant writing, developing and receiving
funding for a comprehensive technology plan in conjunction with Loyola Marymount University, beginning single subject blended learning implementation within the Science core curriculum, and establishing a marketing plan that increased enrollment Pre-K through 8th Grade.
Belinda is looking forward to helping the students of Saint Andrew School accomplish their
academic and spiritual goals.

MINISTRY FAIR FOR ALL MINISTRY LEADERS!
Attention All Ministry Leaders: We are pleased to announce we will be hosting a Ministry Fair
for our Second Year Confirmation Students on Sunday, September 14, directly after the 9:30 a.m.

Ana Maria Rangel at (626) 792-4183, Ext. 104, to confirm your ministry’s participation. We are
very excited to kick off our Confirmation Year with all of you and show our students the wide
range of opportunities that St. Andrew has to offer.
FROM THE CONFIRMATION DEPARTMENT...
We are very excited to announce the start of our new Confirmation program beginning in
September! After getting feedback from our students and parents, we decided to implement a
few changes. This year Confirmation students will gather for formation class one Sunday a
month for a longer period of time, rather than two Sundays per month as in years past. We
hope this new change will help accommodate the busy schedules of our teens, while still providing them with a quality formation program.
We are also very excited to announce a new change in curriculum. This year we will adopt,
Confirmed in the Spirit, by Loyola Press. Our committee is very excited about the new books our
teens will receive on their Confirmation journey. This series is a continuation of the Finding
God curriculum being used in our Religious Education Program.
There is still time to register for classes! Please stop by the Pastoral Center Office MondayFriday from 10:00 a.m.-12-noon or from 1:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m., to fill out registration forms. We
also need a copy of your teen’s Baptismal and First Communion certificates.
The cost for Confirmation Year 1 is $100.00 and Confirmation Year 2 is $125.00

BELINDA RESENDEZ, DIRECTORA DE DESAROLLO Y MARKETING
Como la nueva Director de Desarrollo y Marketing de la escuela San Andrés, Belinda Resendez
se compromete a fomentar y desarrollar esfuerzos financieros y educativos. Belinda se graduó
de la Universidad de Santa Clara con una licenciatura en Ciencias, Ciencias Políticas y Comunicación. Mientras que en la Universidad de Santa Clara, trabajó en estrecha colaboración con su
Vice-Presidente de la Universidad de la Oficina de Relaciones y Desarrollo, donde se dedican al
cultivo de donantes. Además, su lista de logros incluyen, otorgar la escritura, el desarrollo y la
recepción de fondos para un plan tecnológico integral en conjunto con la Universidad Loyola
Marymount, comenzando sujeto único aprendizaje combinado dentro del plan de estudios de
Ciencia, y el establecimiento de un plan de marketing que se incrementó la matrícula pre kínder
hasta el 8o grado. El deseo de Belinda es de ayudar a los estudiantes de la escuela de San Andrés
a lograr sus metas académicas y espirituales.
