Name:_________________________________________ Phone #:______________________________________ Inten on:_____________________________________ Circle one: Living or Deceased Dona on Amount:______________________________ STEWARDSHIP THOUGHT Today we hear one of the most beloved stories in the Gospel of Luke, Jesus’ parable of the Prodigal Son. Reconcilia on is a prominent theme. Seeing the younger son returning to him, the son who le the family and squandered his inheritance, the compassionate father runs to embrace him. Jesus offers us a vision of a loving God who is merciful and forgiving, welcoming us back when we remorsefully return to him. When was a me that I le God’s presence through my own sinfulness? Did I humbly and sorrowfully repent of my ac ons? How am I using this me of Lent to humbly atone for my sins? Will I eagerly celebrate the sacrament of reconcilia on in the next few weeks to experience God’s loving embrace and forgiveness? ANNUAL LENTEN APPEAL Weekend of March 12-13 Next weekend (Sat. 3/12 and Sun. 3/13) has been designated the 2016 Annual Lenten Appeal Collec on.
