SACRAMENT OF BAPTISM
Baptisms for children take place in Spanish on the first and third
Saturday at 1 pm and third Sunday at 2:15 pm and in English on the
second Sunday of the month at 2:15 pm. Parents must register the
child at the Rectory at least one month in advance.

RELIGIOUS EDUCATION
All children after the age of five can be registered into our Religious Education Program which begins every year in September.
Religious instructions are given on Sundays at 11:15 am.

ADORATION OF BLESSED
SACRAMENT
Every Friday the Blessed Sacrament is exposed from 1 pm to
5 pm in the Chapel. Its important to spend time in prayer before the blessed Sacrament.
Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and Masses are opportunities for us to
participate in prayer and worship. Come before
the Lord in Eucharistic Adoration, and He will
shed His blessings upon you! Thank you!
TREE OF LIFE
A Tree of Life is a memorial wall in form of a
tree. On it, parishioners can memorialize a
loved one, living or deceased. This was a gift
from Melba Negron & Lourdes Aponte in honor
of Fr. Rodriguez. Each individual plaque is in
memory of a loved one, a family or a group, the
donation is $150 each. If you are interested in
purchasing one or more, please speak to Melba
at the Gift Shop on Sundays or leave your
name and phone number at the office. Thanks.
THE FAMILY MASS
Our Family Mass is celebrated at 10 am every
Sunday for the children preparing for the Sacraments and their parents. The Mass is
bi-lingual (English and Spanish) and the children in
Holy Communion are encouraged to participate.
The Confirmation youth can are also be encouraged
to attend this Mass. Participation in Holy Mass is
mandatory to all in the Sacramental Program.

TEMPORARY ADMINISTRATOR FOR OLM
The Archdiocese of New York has asked the
Yarumal Missionaries to take the temporary
administration of Our Lady of Mercy. Fr. Tulio
and Fr. David, who are currently serving Our
Savior Parish on Washington Avenue, not far
from here, will be coming to OLM for Masses
while at the same time continue at Our Savior
Parish. Fr. Conrad will be living here in OLM.
Please pray for this new transition and assist
Fr. Tulio, Fr. David and Fr. Conrado in the best
possible way. Thank you and Welcome Fr.

MISA DE LA FAMILIA
La Misa de la Familia es celebrada todos los
domingos a las 10 a.m. para los niños/as, los
jóvenes del Catecismo, y sus padres. La Misa
es bilingüe (ingles y español), y se invita a los
niños y jóvenes del Catecismo a participar activamente con las lecturas, los cantos, la colecta
etc. Cada niño/ joven, debió de recibir un paquetito de sobres para el uso de las ofrendas
en la Misa dominical. Le recordamos que todos
los niños y jóvenes del Catecismo deben asistir. a Misa todos los domingos. Gracias!
ARBOL DE LA VIDA
El Árbol de la Vida es un mural conmemorativo .
En que los parroquianos pueden memorializar a un
ser querido vivo o difunto. Este fue un regalo del
Comité de la Providencia a la Parroquia de Las
Mercedes en honor del
P. Ambiorix. Cada placa individual es en memoria
de un ser querido, familia o grupo, cuesta un donación de $150. Si esta interesado, favor de hablar
con Melba Negron en la Tienda los domingos o dejar nombre y teléfono en la
Rectoría.

Nuestra parroquia recibió la
gran noticia del Timothy Cardenal Dolan, de que NUESTRA IGLESIA QUEDARA ABIERTA! Pero, todavía no hemos recibido la información sobre
un Párroco permanente. Les pedimos continuar
en oración, mientras que seguimos en este camino juntos en la Fe y en el Apoyo de nuestra
iglesia y también en apoyo a los que SI tienen
que combinar parroquias. Si les interesa leer la

NUEVO ADMINISTRADOR DE OLM
EL Arquidiócesis de Nueva York le ha pedido a
los Padres Misioneros de Yarumal que lleven la
Administración Temporal de la Parroquia de
Ntra. Sra. de las Mercedes. El P. Tulio y el P.
David sirven en la Parroquia Nuestro Salvador
que esta en Washington Ave, muy cerquita de
aquí. Ellos continuaran sirviendo en su parroquia y ayudando aquí en las Misas. El P. Conrado continuará
viviendo aquí y ayudando. Favor de rezar por
este proceso de transición y de asistir al P. Tulio , P. David Y P. Conrado de la mejor manera
posible. Bienvenidos P. Tulio y P. David.
