StARS CLUB UPDATE
A big Thank You to all who helped coordinate
and to those who attended the StARS Club. It
was lots of fun, food, and games.
Please make plans to attend the next gathering on
June 6, 2014. The club will meet once a month on the 1st
Friday of each month, in the Parish Center from 12:00 noon
to 3:00pm. Bring your snacks games, friends and neighbors
and have a great time. Remember anyone 55 plus is
welcome. You do not have to belong to St. Albert to attend.
ARE YOU A REGISTERED MEMBER OF ST. ALBERT?
Please do not take for granted that you are registered
in the Parish just because you attend Mass at
St. Albert. If you have not filled out a registration
form, then you are not a registered member.
If you are making Wedding plans, Baptism, etc. you
must be a registered member of this parish. All
persons 18 years old or older living at home or not
living at home, need to register in the parish on their
own.
To register ask an usher for a registration form, or
stop by the church office during the week to fill out
the registration form. If you have any questions,
please contact the office at 713-771-3596, the
office will be happy to assist you.
BAZAAR CRAFT BOOTHS:
We will have craft booths this year to rent
to vendors selling craft Items. Bazaar is
October 5, 2014. (Homemade or unique in
nature). If you, or someone you know
would be interested in renting a booth the
cost is $50.00. Registration is due by
September 10, 2014.

Gabriel Project is collecting baby items. Please help by

(Baby clothes boys & girls) Formula, Diaper Bags,

Cargado con nuestros pecados, subió al madero de la cruz, para que, muertos al pecado, vivamos para la justicia.
Queridos hermanos y hermanas en Cristo,
El tono de alegría de los tres domingos pasados se
ensombrece hoy. Las tres lecturas nos recuerdan el
sufrimiento, la muerte y el pecado. Nosotros, igual que la
audiencia de Pedro en la primera lectura, podemos
preguntar, “¿Qué tenemos que hacer?” Y la respuesta es la
misma: Tenemos que convertirnos. O, como Pedro dice en
su primera carta, nos hemos extraviado como las ovejas
perdidas y tenemos que regresar al pastor.
En el Evangelio de hoy Jesús se describe a sí
mismo como el pastor y sabemos que fue una de las
primeras imágenes de Cristo en la Iglesia de los apóstoles.
El pasaje de hoy continúa el tema más sombrío de las dos
primeras lecturas. El peligro acecha y las ovejas necesitan
protección. Podrían seguir un guía falso, podrían ser
robadas o destruidas. Sólo con Jesús estarán a salvo. Sólo
con Jesús lograremos la vida eterna
Una bendición especial a todas las madres! Por medio de
nuestras madres en la vida nosotros experimentamos el
amor y la vida de Dios. Feliz Día de las Madres!

para recién nacidos o de un año) toallas húmedas,

cama para cunas, las donaciones en efectivo nos
ayudara para comprar cunas, asientos para carros y

LO RECIENTE DEL CLUB StARS
Agradecidamente con todos los que
ayudaron a coordinar a la reunión del Club
StARS. Hubo comida, juegos y diversión.
Por favor haga planes de venir a nuestra próxima reunión el
6 de Junio del 2014. El club se reúne el primer viernes de
cada mes en el centro parroquial 12:00 -3:00pm. Traiga su
bocadillo, juegos, amigos y disfruten de un buen convivio.
Recuerde cualquier persona de 55 o mas son bienvenidos.
No necesita pertenecer a San Alberto para participar.
