QUICK REFERENCE GUIDE FOR RME EAGLE CONTROLLER
DO NOT PRESS THE KEYBOARD WITH SHARP OBJECTS
The examples below demonstrate the controller’s basic functions. For a full explanation of all the features and programming capabilities, refer to the RME Eagle User Manual.

SET TIME AND DATE --- Set the current time and date.
EXAMPLE: 10:35 PM Saturday, November 10, 2001.

WATER DAYS SELECTION --- Each program can be set for either a 7 day watering schedule OR on a SKIP
DAYS watering schedule, which allows you to skip from 1 to 30 days between watering cycles. For a definition
on how to use the SKIP DAYS function, refer to the Eagle User Manual.

ET MODE SELECTION --- Controller automatically adjusts to weather conditions to provide water savings.
EXAMPLE: Turn on ET mode for Programs 2 and 4.

STATIONS --- Select the stations and the length of the watering cycle. Selected stations are shown in the LED
display.
EXAMPLE: Program Station 1 to water for 10 minutes and Station 2 to water for 1 hour and 30 minutes,

MANUAL SELECTION OF MASTER VALVE/PUMP --- When selected will run the MV/P for a specified time. The MV/P is
assigned station 0 and can be manually selected.
EXAMPLE: Run The Master Valve for 5 minutes.

EXAMPLE: To eliminate Friday and then add Saturday.
PROGRAM
MANUAL SYSTEM CHECK/SYRINGE CYCLE --- When this function is selected, the controller will turn-on the first station
for a selected time of 1 to 9 minutes, then to the next station, until all stations have been checked.
EXAMPLE: To run a 3 minute System Check.

MANUAL STATION --- Runs a station for the length of time selected.
EXAMPLE: Run Station 6 for 25 minutes.

WATER DAYS --- Select watering days based on a 7 day week. The days selected are shown in the LED

EXAMPLE: Schedule watering on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday of each week.

MANUAL --- Run a program, a station, or the system check/syringe cycle.
MANUAL PROGRAM --- Runs the selected program.
EXAMPLE: Run program 1.

ADDITIONAL NOTES
The controller is in the automatic mode when the controller is cycling between time and date.
Steps 3 through 5 may be performed in any order.
To program the additional programs (2, 3, and 4), go to step 2.
Pressing QUIT will return the controller to the automatic mode.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTION INSTRUCTION
INSTRUCCIONES PARA LA CONEXIÓN ELÉCTRICA
INSTRUCTIONS POUR RACCORDEMENT ELECTRIQUE
1. Remove lower panel.
2. Connect ground-screw to the ground rod or grounded water
pipe.
3. Thread condulet onto the transformer.
4. Connect the supply line conduit to condulet.
5. Connect the 120VAC 50/60Hz supply line to the transformer
wires within the condulet.
6. This unit is intended to be connected to metallic conduit only.
7. Follow all appropriate local electrical wiring codes.
WARNING:
1. All electrical connections must be installed as described above
and the box must be properly grounded or warranty will be
voided.
2. Disconnect power prior to making electrical connections or
doing any servicing of the controller.
1. Remueva el panel inferior.
2. Conecte el tomillo de tierra a la varilla a tierra o a la tubería de
agua conectada a tierra.
3. Enrosque la caja de paso (empalme) Condulet al transformador.
4. Conecte el conducto del cable de alimentación eléctrica a la caja
de paso.
5. Conecte el cable de alimentación de 120 VCA 50/60Hz a los
cables del transformador dentro de la caja de paso.
6. Esta unidad debe estar conectada sólo al conducto de metal.
7. Prosiga con todos los códigos de electricidad locales apropiados
para los cables.
ADVERTENCIA:
1. Todas las conexiones eléctricas deben ser instaladas según las
instrucciones indicadas anteriormente y la caja debe estar
instalada a tierra correctamente o de lo contrario la garantía será
anulada.
2. Desconecte la corriente eléctrica antes de efectuar cualquier
conexión eléctrica o reparaciones al controlador.

2. Connectez la vis de mise á la terre á une tige de mise á la
terre ou á un tuyau métallique de distribution ď eau.
3. Vissez la boite jonction dans le tranformateur.
4. Raccordez le conduit de fil ď alimentation á la boite de
jonction.
5. Connectez á ľintérieur de la boite de jonction les fils ď
alimentation 120 VAC 50/60 Hz aux fils du transformateur.
6. Cet appareil est concu pour étre raccordé uniquement á des
conduits de type métallique.
7. Veuillez suivre les codes ď electricité en vigueurs.
AVERTISSEMENT:
1. La garantie de cet sera vailde seulement si toutes les
connexions électriques sont effectueés tel que décrit ci-haut et
que ľ appareil ait une mise á la terre adequate.
2. Coupez le courant ď alimentation électrique avant ďeffectuer
des connexions életriques ou de réparer ľappareil.
