Kardynał Stanisław Dziwisz, Metropolita Krakowski Dear Pilgrims, Welcome to Royal Cracow! Welcome to the city of St John Paul II, St. Faustina and many other saints! I am sure that World Youth Day and the meeting with Pope Francis will be a great celebration of faith which will result not only in many friendships but also in marriages and vocations. I am convinced that the meeting of so many global Christians in Krakow will demonstrate the basic goodness of humanity and leave an indelible record of solidarity in our consciousness, that reaches beyond social divisions.
