has none. And whoever has food should do
likewise……”
Last Sunday we hosted a Christmas social for
youth, teens and their families in our community
who were in need of a little holiday cheer. We
distributed 45 gift bags and Christmas stockings.
The food and festivities were enjoyed by 50 adults
and youth.
During this holiday season, we thank you for your
generous donations. Through the Thanksgiving
collection, we received $2,500, which will help
those in need as we share in the blessings of
Christmas.

contributing to our landmark Church in the heart of

The holidays can be a very painful time of year for
those grieving a loss, those who are alone, sick,
experiencing financial difficulties or have difficult
family relationships. The usual celebrations and
expectations of the season can exacerbate feelings of
depression and anxiety, contributing to further
alienation. All are welcome to celebrate the true
religious meaning of the season.
