RESOLUCION: 1591-CU-P-2015
El Honorable Consejo Universitario de la Universidad Técnica de Ambato, en sesión ordinaria efectuada el
martes 18 de agosto de 2015, visto y analizado el oficio VR-AC-1098-2015, del 18 de agosto de 2015,
suscrito por el Ingeniero MSc. Jorge León Mantilla, Vicerrector Académico Encargado, referente a la
participación del Ingeniero Diego Meló, Profesor de la Facultad de Ciencias Humanas y de la Educación,
como investigador en el proyecto "Diagnóstico de necesidades formativas en materia de ecoturismo y
recursos naturales en la provincia de Tungurahua", junto al Prometeo Doctor Juan José Martí en la
presentación de la ponencia oral y pósteral 3rd Word Researche Summit for Tourism and Hospitaly and Ist
USA-ChIna Tourism Research Summit: Transforming Patherships 2015, que se realizará en Orlando
Florida; además menciona que mediante oficio VR-AC-1064, se consideró procedente que el mencionado
profesor participe en el IV SEMINARIO INTERNACIONAL DE TURISMO, DESARROLLO Y
SUSTENTABILIDAD, a realizarse en la Habana, Cuba; en uso de sus atribuciones contempladas en el
Articulo 21 del Estatuto Universitario y demás normativa legal aplicable para el efecto.
RESUELVE:
Autorizar la participación del Ingeniero Diego Meló, Profesor de la Facultad de Ciencias Humanas y de la
Educación, como Investigador en el proyecto "Diagnóstico de necesidades formativas en materia de
ecoturismo y recursos naturales en la provincia de Tungurahua", junto al Prometeo Doctor Juan José Marti
en la presentación de la ponencia oral y póster al 3rd Word Researche Summit for Tourism and Hospitaly
and 1st USA-China Tourism Research Summit: Transforming Patherships 2015, que se realizará en
Orlando Florida, USA, deM5 al 19 de diciembre de 2015; en lo referente a su participación en el IV
SEMINARIO INTERNACIONAL DE TURISMO, DESARROLLO Y SUSTENTABILIDAD, a realizarse en la
Habana, Cuba, no se autoriza por cuanto no es pertinente que el profesor realice dos viajes en el mismo
ciclo académico.

oficio VR-AC-1064, consideré, salvo su mejor criterio, procedente el pedido del mencionado
Docente, para su participación en el IV SEMINARIO INTERNACIONAL DE TURISMO,
DESARROLLO YSUSTENTABILIDAD, a realizarse en la^ÍHabana, CÜb^ del 21 al 23 de
septiembre de 2015.
Además, me permito sugerir que la Universidad, debe auspiciar la participación de otros docentes
en este tipo de eventos.

Summit: Transforming Partherships 2015 se llevará a cabo en diciembre del presente año en los
d{ias 15 al 19, en el UCF Rosen College of Hopitality Managment, de Orlando - Florida, USA.
Solicito muy comedidamente se me pueda auspiciar el pasaje aéreo, inscripción y hospedaje. El
plazo para pago de inscripción finaliza el 2 de octubre.
Como es de su conocimiento el hecho de ser Invitado como ponente internacional al seminario de
Turismo, contribuye a mejorar la calificación en cuanto al indicador de Ponencias de los docentes,
y así mismo es resultado de un proyecto de investigación financiado por la SENESCYT y
desarrollado en la FCHE.
