ESD (Electro Static Discharge) ist die
elektrostatische Entladung aufgeladener Gegenstände oder Personen, die
wegen ihrer geringen Energie oft gar
nicht bemerkt wird. Die Ursache für
ESD sind elektrische Aufladungen, die
durch Ladungstrennungen infolge von
Reibungsaufladung an unterschiedlichen Materialien oder infolge von Influenz in elektrischen Feldern erzeugt
werden. Hierbei können an einem
Handarbeitsplatz infolge von Bewegung des dort Arbeitenden Spannungen bis über 10.000 V entstehen.

ESD is the Electro Static Discharge
of objects or persons that have built
up a charge which is often not
noticeable due to its low energy. ESD
is caused by electrical charges which
are generated when charges are
separated due to friction on various
materials or as a result of electrostatic
induction in electrical fields. Voltages
of more than 10,000 V may build up in
this way at a manual workstation due
to the movements of individuals
working there.

ou de personnes chargés électriquement qui, en raison de sa faible énergie,
n’est bien souvent pas remarqué. Les
charges électriques, à l’origine de
l’ESD, sont des charges arrachées
par frottement sur différents matériaux
ou sous l’influence de champs électriques. Ainsi, sur un poste de travail
manuel peuvent se former des tensions,
dues aux mouvements de la personne
qui travaille, allant jusqu’à plus de
10 000 V.

scarica elettrostatica di oggetti o persone cariche, che, data la scarsa
energia di cui dispone, spesso non
viene affatto notata. La causa dell’ESD
sono cariche elettriche che si producono per separazione in seguito a
sfregamento su diversi materiali o per
l’influenza di campi elettrici. In tal modo,
in un posto di lavoro, a causa del movimento del lavoratore, si possono
creare tensioni fino a oltre i 10.000 V.

On entend par ESDS (Electro Static
Discharge Sensitive Device) des composants, qui, en raison de leurs propriétés électriques et de leur structure
interne, risquent d’être endommagés
ou détériorés par des décharges statiques. Leur détérioration peut modifier
de manière irréversible les ESDS et
amenuiser la durée de vie de ceux-ci.
La tension dangereuse du composant
est déterminante pour connaître sa
sensibilité.

Unter ESDS (Electro Static Discharge
Sensitive Device) versteht man Bauelemente, die aufgrund ihrer elektrischen Eigenschaften und ihres inneren
Aufbaus durch statische Entladungen
beschädigt oder zerstört werden können. Eine Schädigung führt zu einer
irreversiblen Veränderung und dadurch
zu einer Senkung der Lebensdauer der
ESDS. Maßgeblich für die Empfindlichkeit ist die Gefährdungsspannung
des Bauteils.

ESDS (Electro Static Discharge Sensitive Device) are components which,
due to their electrical characteristics
and their internal structure, can be
damaged or destroyed by static
discharge. Damage of this kind brings
about an irreversible change and consequently shortens the operational life
of the ESDS. The sensitivity depends
greatly on the component’s danger
voltage.

Con ESDS (Electro Static Discharge
Sensitive Device) si intendono quegli
elementi costruttivi che, a causa delle
loro proprietà elettriche o della loro
struttura interna, possono essere
danneggiati o distrutti dalle scariche
statiche. Un danno conduce ad un
mutamento irreversibile e quindi ad
una riduzione della durata dell’ESDS.
Determinante per la sensibilità di un
componente è la tensione di pericolo

La susceptibilidad de un componente

Bauteilen.
Schäden an ESDS und damit bestückten Platinen verursachen hohe
Kosten. Die wirkungsvollste Abhilfe
besteht in der Vermeidung von Aufladung bzw. der gefahrlosen Ableitung
verschleppter Aufladungen. Das Bosch
ESD-Programm mit seinen nach ergonomischen Grundlagen entwickelten
Komponenten für die Gestaltung von
Montageplätzen hilft Ihnen dabei.
Durch geeignete Materialwahl und
Verbindungstechnik sind diese Komponenten elektrostatisch leitfähig oder
ableitend und bilden somit ein geschütztes Gesamtsystem – den Bosch
ESD-Arbeitsplatz. Eine definierte
Erdung über einen Erdungspunkt am
Tischgestell macht eine risikoreiche
Verkabelung der Einzelkomponenten
überflüssig. Zur Sicherstellung und
Aufrechterhaltung der ESD-Fähigkeit
eines ESD-Arbeitsplatzes empfehlen
wir, nach dessen Montage (gemäß
Montageanleitung) und in regelmäßigen Abständen die Überprüfung des
Ableitwiderstandes.
Die Anforderungen für den Schutz von
ESDS (DIN EN 100 015) werden von
den Bosch-Komponenten erfüllt.
National unterschiedliche Bestimmungen zum Personenschutz sind bei
Montage und Anschluß zu beachten.

Protection of components at risk
from ESD.
Damage to ESDS, and consequently
to assembled printed circuit boards,
can increase production costs. The
most effective remedies are to prevent
a build-up of charges or to ensure that
charges which have built up are
conducted away in a safe manner. The
Bosch ESD range has been
developed with exactly this purpose in
mind; its components are designed in
accordance with ergonomic principles
and specifically for the construction of
assembly workstations. A suitable
choice of materials and connection

techniques give these components
electrostatic conductance or
derivation ability; when combined, they
form a comprehensive, protected
system - the Bosch ESD workstation.
Defined earthing via an earthing point
on the table frame makes hazardous
wiring of the individual components
unnecessary. We recommend testing
the leakage resistance of an ESD
workstation after it has been set up (in
accordance with the assembly
instructions) and then at regular
intervals, to ensure that its ESD ability
is guaranteed and maintained.
The requirements for the protection of
ESDS (DIN EN 100 015) are fulfilled
by Bosch components. Please
observe the nation-specific regulations
for personal safety when assembling
and connecting the system.

Les coûts dus à la détérioration des
ESDS et des platines qui en sont
équipées sont énormes. La manière la
plus efficace pour résoudre ce
problème est d'éviter les décharges et
la dérivation électrostatique des
charges arrachées. C'est pour vous y
aider que nous avons élaboré la
gamme ESD de Bosch dont les
composants ont été développés selon
les principes ergonomiques à la base
de la conception des postes de
montage. Grâce à un choix de
matériaux et à une technologie de
raccordement appropriés, ces
composants sont conducteurs du
point de vue électrostatique ou
servent à dériver les décharges
formant ainsi un système de protection
- le poste de travail ESD Bosch.La
mise à la terre contrôlée par un point
défini sur le piètement de table rend
superflu le câblage, toujours risqué,
des différents composants. Pour
garantir et maintenir la propriété ESD
d'un poste de travail ESD, nous vous
recommandons de vérifier, après
montage (conformément aux
instructions données) et à des
intervalles réguliers, la résistance de
dérivation.
Les composants Bosch répondent aux
exigences relatives à la protection des
produits sensibles aux décharges
électrostatiques (DIN EN 100 015).
Respecter les dispositions nationales
en matière de protection du personnel
lors du montage et du raccordement.

ESD.
I danni agli ESDS e ai circuiti stampati
equipaggiati con ESDS causano costi
elevati. Il rimedio più efficace consiste
nell'evitare la formazione di cariche o
nel disperdere a terra in modo sicuro
quelle formatesi. Bosch, con i suoi
componenti per la strutturazione di
posti di montaggio, progettati
secondo principi ergonomici, Vi aiuta
in questo senso. Grazie ad una scelta
dei materiali e ad una tecnica di
collegamento opportune, questi
componenti sono in grado di condurre
o disperdere verso terra l'energia
elettrostatica e costituiscono quel
sistema complessivo protetto che è il
posto di lavoro ESD della Bosch. Un
collegamento a terra, definito
attraverso un punto di messa a terra
sull'intelaiatura del banco, rende
superfluo un rischioso cablaggio dei
singoli componenti. Come garanzia di
funzionamento e per il mantenimento
della capacità di protezione di un
posto di lavoro ESD, è consigliabile
verificare la resistenza di dispersione
sia dopo aver effettuato il montaggio
(secondo le istruzioni di montaggio),
che in seguito, ad intervalli regolari.
I componenenti Bosch (DIN EN 100 015)
soddisfano i requisiti per la protezione
degli ESDS. Occorre inoltre osservare le
disposizioni per la protezione delle
persone stabilite a livello nazionale

Los daños a ESDS y a las platinas
equipadas con él ocasionan elevados
costos. La ayuda más eficaz consiste
en evitar que se produzcan cargas o
en descargar sin peligro cargas
propagadas. Para ello cuenta Vd. con
la ayuda del programa ESD de Bosch
con sus componentes ergonómicos
para la realización de puestos de
montaje. Gracias a la selección
adecuada del material y de la técnica
de unión, estos componentes son
electrostáticamente conductores o
desviadores y constituyen un sistema
protegido en su conjunto - el puesto
de trabajo ESD de Bosch.
La conexión a tierra bien definida por
un punto de descarga a tierra hacen
innecesario el cableado arriesgado de
los componentes por separado. Para
asegurar y mantener la capacidad
ESD de un puesto de trabajo ESD,
recomendamos la verificación regular
de la resistencia de descarga después
de su montaje (según instrucciones
de montaje).
Los componentes Bosch cumplen con
los requisitos de protección ESDS
(DIN EN 100 015). Para realizar el
montaje e instalar las conexiones,
respetar las normativas de cada país
relativas a la protección de personas.
