Reading and storing this manual
This manual accompanies this multifunction tool.
It contains important information on setup and handling.
Before using the multifunction tool, read this manual carefully. This
particularly applies for the safety notes. Failure to heed this manual
may result in severe injury or damage to the multifunction tool.
Please observe the country-specific guidelines and laws when using and disposing of the device abroad.
Store this manual for further use. Make sure to include this manual when passing
the multifunction tool on to third parties.

Proper use
The multifunction tool is only designed for sawing, cutting, scraping and sanding various materials in hard-to-reach areas. The multifunction tool may only
be used in indoor areas. It is only intended for private use and not suitable for
commercial purposes.
Only use the multifunction tool as described in this manual. Using it in any
other way is deemed improper and may result in damage to property or even
personal injury. The multifunction tool is not a children’s toy.
The manufacturer or vendor cannot be held liable for damages incurred
through improper or incorrect use.

Work place safety
a) Keep your work area clean and well lit. Disorganization or unlit work
areas may result in accidents.
b) Do not work with the power tool in areas with a risk of explosion
where flammable liquids, gases or dusts are present. Power tools
may produce sparks that could ignite dust or vapors.
c) Keep children and other persons away from the power tool while
you are using it. If you are distracted, you could lose control of the
device.
d) Make sure there is adequate ventilation. Stale air contaminated with
odors may cause symptoms of fatigue.
Electrical safety
a) The connector plug for the power tool must fit in the socket. The
plug may not be modified in any way. Do not use any adapter
plugs in combination with power tools with protective earthing.
Plugs that have not been modified and sockets with the proper fit
reduce the risk of an electric shock.

b) Avoid coming into contact with earthed surfaces like pipes, heaters, stoves and refrigerators. There is an increased risk of electric
shock if your body is grounded.
c) Keep power tools away from rain or moisture. If water penetrates a
power tool, there is an increased risk of electric shock.
d) Do not use the cord for purposes other than the intended one
such as for carrying the power tool, hanging it up or pulling the
plug out of the socket. Keep the cord away from heat, oil, sharp
edges or moving parts of the device. A damaged or wound up cable
increases the risk of an electric shock.
e) If you are working with a power tool outdoors, only use extension
cords that are also suitable for outdoor use. The use of an extension
cord suitable for outdoor application reduces the risk of electrical shock.
f) If operating the power tool in a damp environment cannot be
avoided, use a fault-current circuit breaker. Using a fault-current
circuit breaker reduces the risk of an electric shock.
Safety of persons
a) This device is not intended to be used by persons (including children) with impaired physical, sensory or mental abilities or who
lack experience and/or knowledge unless they are supervised by
a person responsible for their safety or have been instructed by
such a person on how to use the device.
b) Be careful, pay attention to what you are doing and approach
work with a power tool in a reasonable manner. Do not use any
power tool if you are tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol
or medication. A single moment of inattentiveness when using the
power tool can result in serious injury.
c) Wear personal protective gear and always wear protective goggles.
Depending on the type of power tool and how it is used, wearing
personal protective gear such as a dust mask, non-slip safety shoes, a
protective helmet or ear protection reduces the risk of injury
d) Avoid accidentally activating the device. Make sure that the power
tool is turned off before you connect it to the power supply,
connect the rechargeable battery, pick it up or carry it. If you have
your finger on the switch when carrying the power tool or connect the
device to the power supply when it is turned on, this may cause an
accident.

e) Remove all adjusting tools or spanners before you switch the
power tool on. A tool or spanner in contact with a rotating part of the
device may result in injury.
f) Avoid an abnormal posture. Assume a stable position and keep
your balance at all times. This will allow you to have better control of
the power tool in the event of unexpected situations.
g) Wear suitable clothing. Do not wear any loose-fitting clothing or
jewelery. Keep your hair, clothing and gloves away from the moving parts. Loose clothing, jewelery or long hair may get caught in the
moving parts.
h) If you can attach dust extractors or collectors, make sure that they
are connected and used properly. Using a dust extractor may reduce
risks associated with dust.
i) Only use the power tool if it is in impeccable condition and not
damaged.
j) Do not remove or manipulate the safety equipment fitted on the
power tool.
k) Do not modify the power tool or parts of it.
l) Only put the power tool aside once it has been switched off and
come to a stop.
m) Disconnect the power tool from the power supply when it is not in
use.
Using and handling the power tool
a) Do not overload the device. Use the right power tool for your
work. The right power tool will ensure that you work more effectively
and safely within the specified power range.
b) Do not use a power tool if its switch is defective. A power tool that
can no longer be switched on or off is dangerous and must be repaired.
c) Pull the plug out of the socket and/or remove the rechargeable
battery before you make any adjustments to the device, change
the accessories or put away the device. This precaution will prevent
the power tool from accidentally starting.
d) Keep unused power tools out of the reach of children. Do not let
persons use the device if they are not familiar with it or have not
read these instructions. Power tools are dangerous if used by inexperienced persons.
e) Take good care of the power tools. Check to make sure that the
moving parts are functioning properly and not stuck, whether

parts are broken or damaged so as to affect the function of the
power tool. Have damaged parts repaired before you use the
device. A large number of accidents are caused by poorly maintained
power tools.
f) Keep cutting tools sharp and clean. Well maintained cutting tools
with sharp cutting edges are less likely to catch and are easier to guide.
g) Use the power tool, accessories, insertion tools etc. in accordance
with these instructions. At the same time, consider the working
conditions and the work to be performed. Using power tools for
applications other than the intended ones may result in dangerous
situations.
h) If you notice any unusual phenomena: Switch the power tool off.
Disconnect the power tool from the power supply. Have authorized qualified professionals check the power tool. Such unusual
phenomena may be: noises, odors, vibrations etc.
Service
a) Only have your power tool repaired by a qualified professional
and only with original spare parts. This will ensure that the safety of
the power tool is not compromised.
Special safety measures when working with the
multifunction tool
Hold the power tool by the insulated handles when performing work
where there is a risk of the tool being used coming into contact with hidden power lines or its own power cable. Contact with a live line could also
energize metallic parts of the device and inflict an electric shock.
When working for prolonged periods, wear anti-vibration
gloves.
Working with vibrating tools for prolonged periods may cause circulatory disorders and neurological diseases (Raynaud’s Disease).
Sanding e.g. coats of paint containing lead, various types of wood, metals
etc. could produce toxic/poisonous/carcinogenic dust. Coming into contact or inhaling such dust may pose a risk to the operator or nearby persons. Therefore, a dust extractor should always be connected; corresponding
personal protective gear including respiratory protection should be worn.
Keep children and other persons away during use.

Prevent unintentional starts. Make sure that the power tool is switched off before you connect it to the power supply, when lifting or carrying it. If your finger
is on the main switch when you are carrying the tool or if it is switched on when
you insert the power plug, serious accidents could occur.
Pull the power plug out of the socket before performing settings. This precaution will prevent the device from accidentally starting.
Never let persons operate the device, who are not familiar with it or who have
not read this manual.
Special environmental conditions (e.g.: explosive environment, high buildings,
damp conditions) must be ruled out.
Safety precaution for fire prevention
Keep an extinguisher on hand.
In the event of wood and paper fires: powder fire extinguisher (fire class ABC)
or foam fire extinguisher (fire class AB).
For electrical fires: carbon dioxide (CO2) fire extinguisher (fire class B).
Special safety precautions for persons with medical
implants
Every power tool generates an electromagnetic field during operation that may
interfere with the functioning of medical implants (e.g. pacemakers) under unfavorable conditions.
Before working with the power tool:
• Consult a physician.
• Ask the manufacturer of your implant.

Checking the multifunction tool and product
contents
NOTICE!
Risk of damage!
If you are not cautious when opening the packaging with a
sharp knife or other pointy objects, you may damage the multifunction tool.
−− Therefore, be careful when opening it.
1.Remove the packaging material.
2.Check whether the delivery is complete (see fig. A and B).
3.Check whether the multifunction tool or the accessories exhibit damage.
If this is the case, do not use the multifunction tool. Contact the manu‑
facturer at the service address specified on the warranty card.
Familiarizing yourself with the functional principle
The multifunction tool does not rotate the fitted tool; instead, it oscillates it back
and forth.
Familiarizing yourself with permissible materials
You can use the following tools to process the listed materials:
Plunge-cut saw blade
• Hard and soft woods
Scraper
• Layers of paint and lacquer
• Synthetic coatings
• Flexible floor coverings, e.g. carpets, linoleum

Preparing the multifunction tool
CAUTION!
Risk associated with oscillating moving parts!
If you accidentally switch the multifunction tool on, you could
injure yourself on the moving parts that are oscillating.
−− Before mounting accessories, disconnect the multifunction tool from the power supply.
Mounting the handle
−− Screw the handle 6 onto the multifunction tool (see fig. C). Make sure
that you screw the handle onto the left side of the multifunction tool if you
are right-handed and onto the right side if you are left-handed.
Connecting the dust extractor
1.Mount the extractor line 17 with the holding clips 2 onto the back of the
multifunction tool (see fig. B and M). Make sure that the extractor line is correctly positioned on the multifunction tool.
2.Mount the dust extractor 7 on the connecting nozzle 4 (see fig. A and D).
3.Connect a suitable suction device to the dust extractor (e.g. shop vacuum
cleaner).
Mounting tools
Depending on the application, mount the tools listed below.
CAUTION!
Risk of injury!
If you mount the tools incorrectly and they are therefore able
to come into contact with your hand during use, there is a risk
of injury.
−− Do not mount the tools such that there is a possibility of
them coming into contact with your hand.
For example: Ensure that the blades are not pointing towards your hand.

Plunge-cut saw blade
Example of use: Sawing slots.
1.Place the plunge-cut saw blade 15 on the tool holder 16 at any angle.
The blade of the saw blade must be pointing forward (see fig. L).
2.Place the washer 10 on the plunge-cut saw blade with the concavity up.
3.Use the Allen wrench 8 to tighten the Allen head screw 9 .
Scraper
Example of use: Removing coatings, lacquer coats or floor surfaces.
1.Place the scraper 14 on the tool holder at any angle (see fig. L).
2.Place the washer on the top of the plunge-cut saw blade with the concavity up.
3.Use the Allen wrench to tighten the Allen head screw.
Segment saw blade
Example of use: Flush cutting fitted door frames to length.
1.Place the segment saw blade 13 on the tool holder at any angle (see fig. L).
2.Place the washer on the top of the plunge-cut saw blade with the concavity up.
3.Use the Allen wrench to tighten the Allen head screw.
Sanding plate
Example of use: Grinding surfaces in inaccessible corners.
1.Place the sanding plate 11 on the tool holder at any angle (see fig. L).
2.Use the Allen wrench to tighten the Allen head screw. The washer is not
required to mount the sanding plate.
3.Place the sanding sheets 12 on the sanding plate so that they are aligned.
Push firmly so that the Velcro backing holds in place.
Operation
Getting started
1.Make sure that the multifunction tool has been properly prepared as described in the chapter “Preparing the multifunction tool”.
2.Connect the multifunction tool to a power plug.
3.Switch the extractor on.
4.Use the On/Off switch 1 to switch the multifunction tool on.
5.Use the speed control 3 to adjust the speed (see fig. F). Set the speed control to level 1 for low vibration (oscillation) and to level 6 for intense vibration
(oscillation). Make sure that you use the correct speed for the work material or
test various speeds on the work material to determine the correct one.

Cleaning and maintenance
6.Hold the multifunction tool up to the work piece.
You can now process the work piece.
Finishing work
1.Take the multifunction tool out of the work piece.
2.Use the On/Off switch 1 to switch the multifunction tool off.
3.Switch the extractor off.
4.Pull the power plug.

−− Always let them cool off completely before cleaning!

Water that has penetrated the housing may cause a short circuit.
−− Never submerge the multifunction tool in water.
−− Make sure that no water penetrates the housing.
NOTICE!
Risk of damage!
Improperly cleaning the multifunction tool and the tools may
lead to damage.
−− Do not use any aggressive cleaners, brushes with metal or
nylon bristles, sharp or metallic cleaning utensils such as
knives, hard scrapers and the like.
After every use
1.Before cleaning, pull the power plug out of the socket.
2.Let the tool cool off completely.
3.Unlock the extractor line 17 and take it off of the multifunction tool
(see fig. M).

Storage and transport
4.Use a soft brush or compressed air to clean the extractor line and the
housing.
5.Wipe the housing off with a damp cloth if heavily soiled.
6.Attach the extractor line to the multifunction tool again.
After every eight hours of operation
1.Unlock the extractor line and remove it.
2.Use commercially-available universal oil to oil the moving parts of the tool
holder 16 .
3.Attach the extractor line to the multifunction tool again.
Storage and transport
NOTICE!
Risk of damage!
Improper storage or transport of the multifunction tool could
damage it.
−− Store and transport the multifunction tool in a clean, dry
and frost-free location. Always use the enclosed plastic
case to store and transport the multifunction tool and the
accessories. Other storage locations and transport possibilities do not adequately protect the multifunction tool.
• Make sure that the multifunction tool and the accessories are completely dry.
• Fold up the power cable so that it does not knot or kink.
• Place all accessories and especially the washer, the Allen head screw and
the Allen wrench back in the plastic case to prevent the loss of accessory
parts.

Repairs performed by the user or the use of unsuitable spare
parts to repair the device poses an increased risk of electric
shock.
−− Do not open the housing. In the event of a defect, only
have the multifunction tool repaired by authorized qualified professionals. For this, contact the manufacturer at
the service address specified on the warranty card. Electric
and mechanical parts, which are essential for providing
protection against sources of danger, are contained in this
multifunction tool.
−− Do not attempt to perform any repairs by yourself.
−− If the connection line is damaged, you must – in order to
avoid risks – have it replaced by the manufacturer or its
customer service representative.
Troubleshooting
Some malfunctions may be caused by minor faults, which you can resolve
yourself. Follow the instructions in the following table for this.
If it is still not possible to resolve the problem with the multifunction tool,
contact customer service.

Disposal
The specified vibration emission level was measured on the basis of a standardized test procedure and can be used to compare power tools with one another.
The specified vibration emission value may also be used to initially assess the
impairment.

Risk of injury due to vibrations!
While actually using the power tool, the vibration emission value may differ from the specified value depending on how the
power tool is used.
− Define safety precautions to protect the user. The impairment is assessed in consideration of actual conditions
of use. (At the same time, all parts of the operating cycle must be accounted for, i.e. including periods during
which the power tool is switched off and during which it is
turned on, but not operating under load.)
Disposal
Disposing of the packaging
Sort the packaging before you dispose of it. Dispose of paperboard and cardboard with the recycled paper service and wrappers with appropriate collection service.

Service notes
• Store the multifunction tool, this instruction manual and, if applicable, the
accessories in the original packaging.
• WORKZONE devices are largely maintenance-free. For notes on cleaning and
maintenance, refer to the chapter “Cleaning and maintenance”.
• WORKZONE devices undergo strict quality controls. If, however, the functioning of the device is disrupted, send the multifunction tool to the manufacturer as described in the chapter “Checking the multifunction tool and
product contents”.
• Provide a brief written description to shorten the troubleshooting process
and repair time. During the warranty period, keep the warranty certificate
and the proof of purchase with the multifunction tool.
• If the repair is not covered by warranty, you will be billed for the repair
costs.
• IMPORTANT! Opening the multifunction tool voids your warranty claim!
• IMPORTANT! You are expressly advised that, pursuant to the German
Product Liability Act, the manufacturer is not required to assume responsibility for damages caused by the multifunction tool of the manufacturer if this is attributed to improper repair or the use of replacement parts, which are not original parts from or parts approved by
the manufacturer and the repair was not performed by the customer
service team of Meister Werkzeuge GmbH or an authorized professional
with corresponding qualifications! The same applies for the accessory
parts.
• To prevent transport damages, securely pack the multifunction tool or use
the original packaging.
• The manufacturer also guarantees the affordable performance of all repairs
to WORKZONE devices that become necessary after the expiration of the
warranty period.

cortar, rascar y lijar diferentes materiales en lugares de difícil acceso. La herramienta multifuncional solo se puede usar en interiores. Solo está concebido

Utilice únicamente la herramienta multifuncional de la forma como se describe

Seguridad en el lugar de trabajo
a) Mantenga el lugar de trabajo limpio y bien iluminado. Los espacios
de trabajo desordenados o mal iluminados pueden provocar accidentes.
b) No trabaje con la herramienta eléctrica en entornos potencial‑
mente explosivos donde haya líquidos, gases o polvos inflamables. Las herramientas eléctricas generan chispas que pueden prender el polvo o los vapores.
c) Mantenga a niños y demás personas alejados durante la utilización
de la herramienta eléctrica. En caso de distracción, puede perder el
control del equipo.

d) Procure suficiente ventilación. El aire viciado y cargado de olores
puede favorecer la aparición de la fatiga.
Seguridad eléctrica
a) El enchufe de la herramienta eléctrica debe ser apto para la toma
de corriente. El enchufe no se puede modificar de ninguna manera. No utilice un enchufe adaptador con herramientas eléctricas
con protección de tierra. Los enchufes inalterados y las tomas de
corriente adecuadas reducen el riesgo de descarga eléctrica.
b) Evite el contacto corporal con superficies conectadas a tierra como
tubos, calefacciones, hornos y heladeras. Existe un riesgo elevado
de descarga eléctrica si su cuerpo está puesto a tierra.
c) Mantenga las herramientas eléctricas alejadas de lluvia o humedad. La entrada de agua en una herramienta eléctrica aumenta el
riesgo de descarga eléctrica.
d) No use el cable para sostener la herramienta eléctrica, colgarla ni
para tirar el enchufe de la toma de corriente. Mantenga el cable
alejado de calor, aceite, bordes afilados o piezas del equipo en movimiento. Los cables dañados o enredados incrementan el riesgo de
descarga eléctrica.
e) Si trabaja con una herramienta eléctrica al aire libre, utilice solo
cables alargadores aptos también para exteriores. El uso de un
cable alargador adecuado para exteriores reduce el riesgo de descarga
eléctrica.
f) Si resulta inevitable emplear la herramienta eléctrica en un entorno húmedo, utilice un interruptor diferencial residual.
La utilización de un interruptor diferencial residual aminora el riesgo
de descarga eléctrica.
Seguridad de las personas
a) Este equipo no está pensado para ser usado por personas (incluidos niños) con capacidades físicas, sensoriales o mentales limitadas o falta de experiencia y/o conocimientos, a menos que estén
supervisadas o instruidas por una persona responsable de su
seguridad acerca de cómo se debe usar el equipo.
b) Preste atención a lo que hace y actúe con sensatez al trabajar con
una herramienta eléctrica. No utilice ninguna herramienta eléctrica si está cansado o si se encuentra bajo la influencia de drogas,

c) Utilice equipos de protección individual y gafas de protección
siempre. El uso de equipos de protección individual como máscaras
antipolvo, calzado de seguridad antideslizante, casco protector o protección auditiva, según el tipo y uso de la herramienta eléctrica, reduce
el riesgo de lesiones.
d) Evite una puesta en marcha involuntaria. Asegúrese de que la herramienta eléctrica esté apagada antes de conectarla al suministro
eléctrico y/o la batería, de agarrarla o de sostenerla.
Si mantiene el dedo en el interruptor al tomar la herramienta eléctrica
o si conecta el equipo en modo encendido al suministro eléctrico,
se pueden producir accidentes.
e) Retire las herramientas de ajuste o llaves antes de encender la
herramienta eléctrica. Una herramienta o llave que se encuentre en
una pieza giratoria del equipo puede provocar lesiones.
f) Evite las posturas corporales extrañas. Busque una posición segura y mantenga siempre el equilibrio. Así podrá controlar mejor la
herramienta eléctrica ante situaciones inesperadas.
g) Utilice ropa adecuada. No emplee prendas o joyas holgadas.
Mantenga el cabello, la ropa y los guantes alejados de las piezas
en movimiento. Las prendas y joyas sueltas o el pelo largo, pueden
quedar atrapados por las piezas móviles.
h) Si se pueden montar equipos de recogida y aspiración de polvo,
asegúrese de que estén conectados y de que se empleen bien.
La utilización de un sistema aspirador de polvo puede reducir los riesgos derivados del polvo.
i) Utilice la herramienta eléctrica solo si se encuentra en perfecto
estado y sin daños.
j) No retire ni manipule los sistemas de seguridad de la herramienta
eléctrica.
k) No modifique la herramienta eléctrica ni ninguna de sus partes.
l) Deposite la herramienta eléctrica solo cuando esté apagada y
detenida.
m) Desenchufe la herramienta eléctrica de la tensión de alimentación
si no se usa.
Utilización y manejo de la herramienta eléctrica
a) No sobrecargue el equipo. Emplee la herramienta eléctrica idónea
para la tarea. Con la herramienta eléctrica adecuada, trabajará mejor
y con mayor seguridad dentro del ámbito de aplicación concreto.

b) No use ninguna herramienta eléctrica cuyo interruptor esté defectuoso. Una herramienta eléctrica que no se pueda encender o apagar
más, es peligrosa y se debe reparar.
c) Extraiga el enchufe de la toma de corriente y/o retire la batería
antes de emprender ajustes en el equipo, cambiar accesorios o
depositar el equipo. Esta medida de precaución evita el arranque
involuntario de la herramienta eléctrica.
d) Guarde la herramienta eléctrica inutilizada fuera del alcance de
los niños. No deje usar el equipo a personas que no estén familiarizadas con su uso y que no hayan leído estas instrucciones. Las
herramientas eléctricas son peligrosas si son empleadas por personas
sin experiencia.
e) Cuide las herramientas eléctricas con esmero. Controle si las piezas
móviles funcionan bien y no se atascan, y si las piezas están rotas
o dañadas de forma que pueda verse influido el funcionamiento
de la herramienta eléctrica. Mande reparar las piezas dañadas antes de usar el equipo. Muchos accidentes son fruto de herramientas
eléctricas en mal estado.
f) Mantenga las herramientas de corte afiladas y limpias. Las herramientas de corte bien cuidadas con bordes de corte afilados se atascan
menos y son más fáciles de dirigir.
g) Utilice la herramienta eléctrica, los accesorios, los insertos, etc.
conforme a estas instrucciones. Tenga en cuenta las condiciones
de trabajo y la actividad realizada. El uso de herramientas eléctricas
para otras aplicaciones diferentes a las previstas puede comportar
situaciones peligrosas.
h) Si percibe señales extrañas: Apague la herramienta eléctrica.
Desenchufe la herramienta eléctrica de la tensión de alimentación.
Mande revisar la herramienta eléctrica a personal especializado
autorizado. Tales señales extrañas pueden ser: ruidos, olores, vibraciones, etc.
Servicio técnico
a) Mande reparar la herramienta eléctrica únicamente a personal
especializado cualificado y solo con repuestos originales. Así se
garantiza que se mantenga la seguridad de la herramienta eléctrica.

Medidas de seguridad especiales al trabajar con
la herramienta multifuncional
Sujete la herramienta eléctrica por las superficies de agarre aislantes si
realiza tareas donde el inserto pueda toparse con conductos eléctricos
ocultos o el propio cable de red. El contacto con una línea conductora puede
exponer las piezas metálicas del equipo a la tensión y provocar así una descarga eléctrica.
Para tareas duraderas, utilice guantes antivibración.
El trabajo continuo con herramientas vibratorias puede provocar problemas
circulatorios y enfermedades neurológicas (síndrome de Raynaud).
Al lijar, p. ej. capas con plomo, algunos tipos de madera, metales, etc.,
se pueden generar polvos nocivos/tóxicos/cancerígenos. El contacto o la
inhalación de estos polvos pueden suponer un riesgo para el usuario o
para las personas cercanas. Por eso, se debería usar siempre un sistema de
aspiración, y se deberían usar equipos de protección individual con protección
respiratoria.
Mantenga a niños y demás personas alejados durante la utilización.
Evite el funcionamiento involuntario. Cerciórese de que la herramienta eléctrica esté apagada antes de conectarla al alimentación de corriente o al levantarla o sujetarla. Si tiene el dedo en el interruptor principal al sujetar la
herramienta, o si está encendida al conectar el enchufe de red, se pueden producir accidentes graves.
Extraiga el enchufe de red de la toma de corriente antes de los ajustes. Esta
medida de seguridad evita el arranque involuntario de la máquina.
Nunca deje usar la máquina a personas que no estén familiarizadas con su utilización o que no hayan leído el manual del usuario.
Las situaciones especiales (p. ej.: entornos explosivos, edificios altos, espacios
húmedos) se deben evitar.
Medida de seguridad de protección contra incendios
Tenga preparado un extintor.
Para incendios de madera y papel: extintor de polvo (clase de fuego ABC) o de
espuma (clase de fuego AB).
Para incendios eléctricos: extintor de dióxido de carbono (CO2) (clase de fuego B).

Medidas de seguridad especiales para personas con
implantes médicos
Durante su uso, toda herramienta eléctrica genera un campo electromagnético
que puede afectar al funcionamiento de los implantes médicos (p. ej. marcapasos) en circunstancias desfavorables.
Antes de trabajar con la herramienta eléctrica:
• Consulte a un médico.
• Pregunte al fabricante del implante.

Comprobación de la herramienta multifuncional y
del volumen de suministro

Si abre el embalaje con un cuchillo afilado o con otros objetos
puntiagudos sin tener cuidado, la herramienta multifuncional
puede dañarse.
−− Al abrir el embalaje, proceda con cuidado.

3.Compruebe si la herramienta multifuncional o los accesorios presentan
daños. En ese caso, no utilice la herramienta multifuncional. Contacte con el
fabricante a través de la dirección de servicio técnico indicada en la tarjeta
de garantía.
Principio de funcionamiento
La herramienta multifuncional no mueve la herramienta montada en círculos,
sino en vaivén (oscilación).

Si enciende la herramienta multifuncional por descuido, se
puede lesionar con las piezas en movimiento.
−− Antes de montar los accesorios, desenchufe la herramienta multifuncional de la tensión de alimentación.
Montaje del agarre
−− Enrosque el agarre 6 en la herramienta multifuncional (véase la fig. C).
Asegúrese de enroscar el agarre para diestros en la izquierda, y para zurdos
en la derecha.

Conexión del sistema aspirador de polvo
1.Fije el canal aspirador 17 con los clips de sujeción 2 sobre la parte
trasera de la herramienta multifuncional (véanse las fig. B y M). Cerciórese de que el canal aspirador quede bien asentado sobre la herramienta
multifuncional.
2.Fije el adaptador del aspirador 7 sobre el tubo de conexión 4
(véanse las fig. A y D).
3.Conecte un equipo aspirador adecuado con el adaptador del aspirador
(p. ej. un aspirador de polvo de taller).
Montaje de la herramienta
Monte las siguientes herramientas según el fin previsto.

¡Riesgo de lesiones!
Si monta mal las herramientas de forma que las pueda tocar
con la mano durante su uso, existe riesgo de lesión.
−− No monte las herramientas de forma que puedan tocarle
la mano.
P. ej.: no deje que las hojas apunten hacia la mano.
Hoja de sierra de incisión
Ejemplo de aplicación: serrado de entalladuras.
1.Fije la hoja de sierra de incisión 15 en el ángulo que desee sobre el alojamiento de la herramienta 16 .
2.Coloque la arandela 10 con la corvadura hacia arriba sobre la hoja de sierra
de incisión.
3.Fije el tornillo con hexágono interior 9 con la llave Allen 8 .
Rascador
Ejemplo de aplicación: eliminación de recubrimientos, capas de barniz o
pavimentos.
1.Coloque el rascador 14 en el ángulo que desee sobre el alojamiento de la
herramienta (véase la fig. L).
2.Coloque la arandela con la corvadura hacia arriba sobre la hoja de sierra de
incisión.
3.Fije el tornillo con hexágono interior con la llave Allen.

Funcionamiento
Hoja de sierra de segmentos
Ejemplo de aplicación: tronzado a ras de superficie de marcos de puertas.
1.Coloque la hoja de sierra de segmentos 13 en el ángulo que desee sobre el
alojamiento de la herramienta (véase la fig. L).
2.Coloque la arandela con la corvadura hacia arriba sobre la hoja de sierra de
incisión.
3.Fije el tornillo con hexágono interior con la llave Allen.
Disco abrasivo
Ejemplo de aplicación: lijado de superficies en ángulos complicados.
1.Coloque el disco abrasivo 11 en el ángulo que desee sobre el alojamiento
de la herramienta (véase la fig. L).
2.Fije el tornillo con hexágono interior con la llave Allen. La arandela no se necesita para el montaje del disco abrasivo.
3.Cubra el disco abrasivo con la hoja de lija 12 . Presione para que se enganche.
Funcionamiento
Comienzo del trabajo
1.Asegúrese de que la herramienta multifuncional esté bien preparada como
se describe en el capítulo “Preparación de la herramienta multifuncional”.
2.Conecte la herramienta multifuncional a una toma de corriente.
3.Encienda el equipo aspirador.
4.Encienda la herramienta multifuncional con el interruptor de encendido/
apagado 1 .
5.Configure la velocidad a través del regulador de velocidad 3 (véase la fig. F).
Para una oscilación baja, ajuste el regulador de velocidad en el nivel 1, y
para una oscilación alta en el nivel 6. Asegúrese de adaptar la velocidad al
material procesado, o averígüela mediante pruebas.
6.Acerque la herramienta multifuncional a la pieza de trabajo.
Ahora puede procesar la pieza de trabajo.
Finalización del trabajo
1.Retire la herramienta multifuncional del material.
2.Apague la herramienta multifuncional con el interruptor de encendido/
apagado 1 .
3.Apague el equipo aspirador.
4.Tire del enchufe de red.

−− Asegúrese de que no entre agua en la carcasa.

La limpieza inapropiada de la herramienta multifuncional y las
herramientas puede provocar daños.
−− No utilice productos de limpieza agresivos, cepillos con
cerdas de metal o nylon y objetos de limpieza afilados o
metálicos, como cuchillos, espátulas duras y similares.
Tras cada uso
1.Antes de proceder a la limpieza, desconecte el enchufe de la toma de corriente.
2.Deje enfriar la herramienta por completo.
3.Desbloquee el canal aspirador 17 y retírelo de la herramienta multifuncional (véase la fig. M).
4.Limpie el canal aspirador y la carcasa con un pincel suave o aire a presión.
5.Pase un paño húmedo por la carcasa en caso de suciedad persistente.
6.Vuelva a colocar el canal aspirador sobre la herramienta multifuncional.
Cada ocho horas de funcionamiento
1.Desbloquee el canal aspirador y retírelo.
2.Lubrique las piezas móviles del alojamiento de la herramienta 16 con aceite universal convencional.
3.Vuelva a colocar el canal aspirador sobre la herramienta multifuncional.

Conservación y transporte
¡AVISO!
¡Riesgo de daños!
Si almacena o transporta la herramienta multifuncional de forma indebida, se puede dañar.
−− Guarde y transporte la herramienta multifuncional en un
lugar limpio, seco y sin heladas. Utilice siempre el maletín
de plástico suministrado para guardar y transportar la
herramienta multifuncional y los accesorios. Otros lugares
de almacenamiento y opciones de transporte no protegen
bien la herramienta multifuncional.
• Cerciórese de que la herramienta multifuncional y los accesorios estén
totalmente secos.
• Enrolle el cable de red sin anudarlo ni doblarlo.
• Guarde todos los accesorios, sobre todo la arandela, el tornillo con hexágono interior y la llave Allen, en el maletín de plástico para no perder ningún
accesorio.
Reparación
¡ADVERTENCIA!
¡Peligro de descarga eléctrica!
Existe peligro incrementado de descarga eléctrica si realiza reparaciones de forma independiente o utiliza piezas de repuesto inadecuadas para una reparación.
−− No abra la carcasa. En caso de defecto, mande reparar la
herramienta multifuncional únicamente a personal especializado autorizado. Para ello, contacte con el fabricante
a través de la dirección del servicio técnico indicada en
la tarjeta de garantía. Esta herramienta multifuncional
contiene piezas eléctricas y mecánicas que son imprescindibles para la protección contra fuentes de riesgo.

−− No intente reparar el equipo por su cuenta.
−− Si el cable de conexión está dañado, debe ser sustituido por el fabricante o un representante de su servicio al
cliente para evitar riesgos.
Solución de fallos
Algunas averías pueden deberse a pequeños fallos que usted mismo puede
subsanar. Siga las instrucciones reflejadas en la tabla siguiente.

las indicaciones sobre la limpieza y el mantenimiento en el capítulo “Limpieza y mantenimiento”.
• Los equipos WORKZONE están sujetos a estrictos controles de calidad. Sin
embargo, si se diese alguna anomalía en el funcionamiento, envíe la herramienta multifuncional al fabricante como se describe en el capítulo “Comprobación de la herramienta multifuncional y del volumen de suministro”.
• Incluya una breve descripción para acelerar la búsqueda del fallo y el
tiempo de reparación. Durante el período de garantía, envíe también el
documento de garantía y el justificante de compra junto con la herramienta
multifuncional.
• Si la reparación no está cubierta por la garantía, se le facturarán los gastos
de reparación.

ADVICE:
Please contact our service hotline by phone, e-mail or fax
before sending in the device. This allows us to provide support in the event of possible operator errors.
In order to make a claim under the warranty, please send us:
• together with the faulty item, the original receipt and the
warranty card properly completed.
• the faulty product with all components included in the
packaging.
The warranty does not cover damage caused by:
• Accident or unanticipated events (e.g. lightning, water, fire).
• Improper use or transport.
• Disregard of the safety and maintenance instructions.
• Other improper treatment or modification.
After the expiry of the warranty period, you still have the possibility to have
your product repaired at your own expense. If the repair or the estimate of
costs is not free of charge you will be informed accordingly in advance.
This warranty does not limit the statutory obligation of the seller arising from
a warranty. The period of warranty can only be extended in accordance with a
legal standard. In countries where a (compulsory) warranty and/or spare part
storage and/or a system for compensation are/is required by law, the statutory
minimum conditions apply. In the event that a product is received for repair,
