The Company
Since it began operations in 1977, Consorcio ARA has specialized in low income, entry-level housing,
and has sold more than 290,000 homes. It currently has a land bank totaling 40,000,000 m² of
reserves and a presence in 18 states of Mexico, where it builds urban infrastructure, facilities and
complementary work needed in creating housing developments, such as schools, medical units,
shopping areas, hydraulic infrastructure, highway accesses a major changes, and others, which have
become indispensable elements planned and executed by Consorcio ARA.
Diversification into other markets not related to housing have given Consorcio ARA an involvement in
construction of industrial facilities, planning and sale of urbanized lands with basic infrastructure and
amenities, shopping centers and commercial locales, hotels and tourist facilities.
The know-how and experience acquired over the years resulted in the creation of ARA
CONSTRUCCIÓN, a division specializing in Civil Engineering work within and outside of our housing
complexes.
ARA CONSTRUCCIÓN has personnel specialized in various areas of Civil Engineering, and the necessary
tools to execute this type of project (latest-generation topographical equipment, specialized software,
construction machinery, ready mix plants, etc.).

plant capacity of the tank.
The size of this type of project also varies widely. We have designed and built Elevated
Tanks with capacities between 40 m³ and300 m³, supplying close to 2,000 homes.

COMACI (the initials in Spanish for ready-mix, machinery and Formwork) is a strategic area of ARA
engaged in:

•Manufacturer of Molds using the “Steel Play system” for formwork in walls and structural
elements
