Remove cover by loosening the two screws, then
lift the top of the cover using open slot while
pulling out at the bottom.
STEP 7:
Pull the 3/8" pickup tube
through opening at bottom
left of backing plate.
STEP 8:
Twist pickup tube strain relief spring over the
tube and install the tube over venturi body barb
inlet. Spring must be used to prevent tube from
“kinking”ININDIVIDUALUNITSbut not FORCABINETS
Note: To remove cover from 4 Solution selector assembly,
knob must be at 12 o’clock position.
STEP 2:
STEP 3:
Remove actuator arm (or
actuator button) by lifting
up on actuator hook and
pulling away.
Note: If using bottle fill, separate the pick-up tubes with tie
wraps to allow enough space under actuator arm for the
bottle to fit without obstruction.
Mount the unit near a water source and no more
than 5 feet from the floor.
Note: The Solution
Station should
always be mounted
at or below eye
level.
A) Mark hole B) Depending on wall surface, use
location
toggle bolts, masonry screws,
or wall anchors to mount the
unit on the wall.
Note: Each valve must have at least 1 screw
mounted top and bottom, preferably on the corners
of the backing plate.
STEP 4:
Connect water source to
water inlet fitting adaptor.
STEP 5:
Remove the tie wrap on the backing plate.
Attach the fill tube spout to the venturi with the
spout opening facing away from you. Use the
tie wrap to secure fill tube. (Excess tie wrap may
be cut off).
STEP 6:
STEP 9:
Cut chemical tube
approximately1 inch down
from inlet side of back plate
housing
STEP 10: Insert inline check valve with
arrow pointing towards inlet
side of back plate housing
STEP 11: Connect bottle cap assembly to pickup tube.
Align the Cap Adapter directly over the Bottle
Insert and press straight down until the Cap
Adapter comes to a stop. Then screw the Cap
Adapter onto the Bottle until snug.
STEP 12: Replace actuator arm or insert actuator button
in cover then replace cover over back plate.
Retighten two screws.
Note: Depending on wall
surface, the end of the pre-formed
fill tube can be cut for a straight
discharge eliminating chance of
chemical discharge onto wall. Be
sure to cut tube at tangent point
(last bend).
Replace actuator arm. Make sure it is behind the
chemical inlet port on venturi body.

Important Note: If proportioner is connected to a janitor’s sink with an
atmospheric vacuum breaker, a special connection kit is required by
A.S.S.E. specification 1055. See drawing below. Failure to use this kit, or
equivalent connection means, will invalidate the A.S.S.E. and I.A.P.M.O.
(UPC) certification. Specify P/N 7600187 when ordering the kit.

Changing Flow Rates
LIGHT GRAY = 1 GPM
DARK GRAY = 4 GPM
The venturi body’s are molded for either a 1 or 4 GPM flow rate. To change
the flow rate:
1
Turn venturi counter clockwise to remove.
2
Install proper venturi body.
Pressure Regulation
(Note: For 4 Solution remove the valve from the backing plate first, then turn
dial assembly counter clockwise to remove. Replace with 4 GPM model.)
Pressure Regulation
The optimum water pressure is 30 – 60 PSI. For installations with a very high
or fluctuating water pressure, use a pressure regulator (included with the
cabinet units). The valve will maintain the flow pressure at constant 40 PSI.
Disconnect water line and attach pressure regulator to water inlet adaptor.
Reconnect water line to adaptor on regulator.
A fixed pressure regulator that threads into a standard garden hose adaptor is
recommended.

Maintenance
Periodically check the following:
Make sure supply line is keeping prime. If not replace bottle cap assembly.
Bottle and bucket activation for proper operation.
Solution cabinet drip tray assembly should be flushed with water periodically.
Troubleshooting
TROUBLE SHOOTING
1. Dispenser will not draw chemical:
A. Check water pressure for 30-60 PSI.
B. Check or change bottle cap.
2. Mixed chemical concentration is too weak:
A. Check water pressure for a minimum of 25 PSI of flow pressure.
3. Supply line loses chemical prime:
A. Check or change bottle cap.
4. Dial 4 will not draw chemical:
A. Check condition of “O”- rings on dial selector knob.
B. Ensure Dial “Clicks” to selected product.
5. Low water flow:
A. Check for sediment in water hose screen washer
B. Check water pressure.
6. Bottle activator on cabinet will not actuate valve:
A. Adjust calibration screw until full flow is achieved
