AUTOMOTIVE SUMMER CAMP er e r a c a in d e t s e r ld inte e i e f n r o i y a n p For a utomotive re in the A June 10 & 11, 2016 - SCC’s Milford Campus DAY ONE AGENDA 8:00-9:00Registration 9:00-11:00 Participate in first of five sessions (automatic transmission disassembly and assembly) 11:00-12:00 Lunch 12:00-2:00 Participate in second of five sessions (electrical - build and test electrical test tool) 2:00-2:30Snack 2:30-4:30 Participate in third of five sessions (engine repair - perform several machining processes) 4:30-5:30 Information Session/Dorm Check-In 5:30-6:30 Evening Meal 6:30 till end Special Activity (This will be an outdoor activity. You may want to bring a jacket. Your admittance into this activity is paid for. However, you may want to bring money for concessions.) ***Overnight stay in SCC-Milford residence halls *** Meet and work with SCC instructors in our Automotive, FORD ASSET, GM ASEP, and MOPAR CAP programs! See the latest technology used in the Automotive industry. TUITION $29 per participant (non-refundable) includes tools, meals, housing, and transportation to a special activity. Participants must be 16 years of age and register by June 3, 2016. www.southeast.edu DAY TWO AGENDA 8:00-9:00Breakfast 9:00-11:00 Participate in fourth of five sessions (diesel air brakes and Ag diagnostics) 11:00-1:00 1:00-1:30 Participate in fifth of five sessions (drivability - use a scan tool to diagnose running problem) Lunch, Evaluation and Check-out Appropriate Attire: Long pants (no holes) Shirts with sleeves (short or long) Good shoes (no sandals) Residence Hall Supplies (two- or three-person rooms): Pillow Sleeping bag or bedding Toiletries Snacks SCC Will Provide: All meals (two lunches, one breakfast, one supper, some snacks) Housing Tools used during camp Transportation to and from the special activities Safety glasses Experience hands-on activities in our labs.
