From the Desk of the Executive Director Let us know how you are doing! Omar y Ruth Toro My tenure with El Primer Paso, as your Executive Director, has been exciting and a learning experience. From the moment I was hired as a teaching assistant, I knew that this was a special place. Six years later, and now the Executive Director, I have even more passion to continue the job that the founders started more than 45 years ago. Children in Dover and the surrounding municipalities need the cultural and linguistic support that we provide here so that they can be successful in kindergarten and beyond. Our adult English as a Second Language program continues to help adults better prepare for jobs, educations and to be contributing members of their community. The work here cannot be done without the support of our Board of Trustees, our volunteers and our talented and highly qualified staff. I also would like to thank those who donate to us, so we can better serve the community.
