FROM THE PASTOR’S DESK
Dear Parishioners,
Today marks the beginning of CATHOLIC SCHOOLS WEEK. The education and formation of
young people has been a long and outstanding tradition here at Our Lady of Fatima. Since 1949, when
the Grey Nuns of the Sacred Heart were brought to the parish by Father Lenihan, our first pastor, we
have been blessed with the many benefits and blessings of quality Catholic Education. That tradition is
carried on today by our fine Principal, Mrs. Cassie Zelic and the dedicated faculty and staff of Our Lady
of Fatima School. To all them we express our sincere gratitude for their devotion to the children who
have been entrusted to them. Let us pray for the students of our school and their families that they may
always appreciate the great blessing of a Catholic Education!
Msgr. Mahoney
Queridos Feligreses:
