CARACTERÍSTICAS DEL PRODUCTO
lsGuard®
Cómo calcular las cantidades de cobertura
destino específicas de proyectos
y longevidad. Inmediatamente después de
bruñir, la temperatura de la superficie debe
llegar a 90,5°F (32,5°C).
6. Repita los pasos 1 al 5 de arriba cuantas
veces sea necesario para obtener el acabado
deseado. Bruña entre capa y capa. Para
obtener el máximo brillo, aplique hasta tres
capas.
Bajo condiciones normales, la superficie está lista
para el tráfico 1 hora después de bruñir. Evite se
exponga al agua por 72 horas.
Limpieza
aluminio, pulidas y otras superficies.
Consolideck®.

maintenance cleaner for lithium-silicate hardened/densified concrete floors
OVERVIEW
Consolideck® lsKlean Super Concentrate is a
specially designed maintenance cleaner for
concrete floors treated with lithium-silicate
hardening/densifying products.
This specialized blend of degreasers and
detergents removes most common soiling found
on concrete floors. It is ideal for concrete floors
everywhere, from warehouses and manufacturing
plants to schools, stores, hospitals, restaurants
and more.
LSKlean Super Concentrate has a lithium-silicate
hardener/densifier to help maintain concrete
hardness. During cleaning, the lithium-silicate
hardens any “soft” calcium hydroxide left over
from the original hardening-densifying treatment,
or exposed by traffic or abrasion.
There is no better way to maintain Consolideck®
LS® hardened/densified floors. Though lsKlean
Super Concentrate is specifically made for LS
floors, it is perfect for almost any concrete floor.
Regular maintenance cleaning with lsKlean
Super Concentrate as part of a comprehensive
maintenance program ensures the highest
appearance and performance standards for all
indoor concrete flatwork.

PolishGuard
Application Instructions
PolishGuard may be applied to broomed, steel
troweled, honed, polished or highly polished
interior concrete surfaces. For best results, treat
floors with Consolideck® LS® or LS/CS® before
application.
1. Lightly wet a clean microfiber pad with
PolishGuard, leaving the pad damp.
2. Spray-apply PolishGuard using a clean,
pump-up sprayer fitted with a 0.5 gpm conical
or fan spray tip. Work from one control joint
to another.
3. Spread with the damp microfiber pad. Maintain
a thin, even coating and wet edge. Stop
spreading once drying begins. Do not overlap.
Use two people – one spraying and one
spreading – for best results.
4. Allow to dry tack free, typically 20-60 minutes.
5. Repeat steps 1–4. Two coats are recommended
for maximum protection and shine.
6. To increase gloss, use a high-speed burnisher
fitted with a Consolideck® HEAT Burnishing
Pad. Burnish at a fast walking pace.
7. For maximum gloss, continue burnishing with a
white polishing pad. Burnish at a fast walking
pace.
Protect from water for 4 hours. At 72°F [22°C]
and 40% relative humidity, product dry times are:
• To Touch: 30-–60 minutes

SafEtch
®
non-fuming cleaner and surface-prep for concrete
OVERVIEW
Consolideck® SafEtch® is an effective, safe
alternative to traditional acidic compounds for
cleaning and preparing horizontal concrete for
densifying and hardening.
ADVANTAGES
•Proven effective for removing common
construction soiling.
•Replaces traditional mineral and organic
acid products.
•Low odor and water-rinsable.
•Non-fuming and environmentally
responsible.
•Will not harm most cleaning equipment or
metal surfaces.
•Safe for interior cleaning.
SafEtch® rids concrete of embedded oil, grease,
efflorescence and dirt. The cleaner also dissolves
a small amount of surface cement, while leaving
the aggregate untouched. That mild “etch”
creates greater surface area, for more complete
penetration and effectiveness of the hardener/
densifier -- or any other protective treatment. It’s
ideal for projects where traditional acidic cleaners Limitations
are not allowed.
•Not suitable for polished/unpolished marble,
®
limestone or travertine.
Non-fuming SafEtch contains no hydrochloric
or other traditional inorganic acids and is safe
•May cause discoloration and corrosion on
for use on and around most metal surfaces.
certain types of metals. ALWAYS TEST.
Additionally, it is up to 70 percent more effective
than citric and glycolic acids, and 50 percent
more effective than phosphoric acid.

SafEtch®
PREPARATION
Protect people, vehicles, property and all
surfaces not set for cleaning from product,
splash, wind drift, residue and rinse water.
When possible, finish cleaning before installing
windows, doors, light fixtures, hardware,
surrounding metal and other items that may
be damaged by cleaning. If already in place,
protect. Extended contact with the cleaning
solution or its vapors may result in discoloration
or damage. All caulking and sealant materials
should be in place and thoroughly cured before
cleaning.
Surface and Air Temperatures
To avoid harm to masonry, do not clean when
temperatures are below freezing or will be
overnight. Best results are obtained when air
and masonry surface temperatures are 40°F
(4°C) or above. If freezing conditions exist prior
to application, let the masonry to thaw.
Equipment
Apply using low-pressure sprayer (50 psi max),
roller or masonry washing brush. Do not use
high pressure spray.
Rinse with enough water and pressure to flush
spent cleaner and dissolved soiling from the
masonry surface and surface pores without
damage. Inadequate rinsing leaves residues
which may stain the cleaned surface.
Masonry-washing equipment generating
400-1000 psi with a water flow rate of 6-8
gpm is the best water/pressure combination
for rinsing porous masonry. Use a 15-45° fan
spray tip. Heated water (150-180°F; 65-82°C)
may improve cleaning efficiency. Use adjustable
equipment for reducing water flow rates and
rinsing pressure as needed for sensitive surfaces.
Storage and Handling
Store in a cool, dry place with adequate
ventilation. Always seal container after
dispensing. Do not alter or mix with other
chemicals.
Published shelf life assumes upright storage of
factory-sealed containers in a dry place. Maintain
temperature of 45-100°F (7-38°C). Do not
double stack pallets. Dispose of unused product
and container in accordance with local, state and
federal regulations.
APPLICATION
Before use, read “Preparation” and “Safety
Information.”
ALWAYS TEST (minimum 4 ft x 4 ft area)
for dilution rates, surface compatibility and
desired results. Test each surface and each
type of soiling using the following application
instructions. Let test dry thoroughly before
inspection.
Dilution & Coverage Rates
SafEtch® may be diluted with up to three parts
clean water, depending on the nature and
severity of soiling. Always pour water into empty
bucket first, then carefully add concentrate.
Coverage rates vary based upon severity of
soiling, surface texture and porosity. Always
test to ensure desired results. The following is
provided for estimating purposes only:
ALWAYS TEST
ALWAYS TEST a small area of each surface
to confirm suitability and desired results
before starting overall application. Test
with the same equipment, recommended
surface preparation and application
procedures planned for general application.
2. Apply liberally using low pressure spray (50
psi max), roller or densely filled (tampico)
masonry washing brush. Do not apply with
high pressure spray. Do not atomize.
3. Let the cleaning solution dwell 3-5 minutes.
Reapply. Light scrubbing of the surface
improves cleaning results especially where
high pressure rinsing equipment is not
available. Do not let cleaning solution “dry
into” the concrete. If solution starts to dry,
reapply.
4. Rinse with clean water, covering each section
of the surface with a concentrated stream of
water.
Interior
Proper ventilation is necessary. Follow exterior
application procedures. If pressure-rinsing is not
possible, use a sponge or soft-fibered brush to
rinse thoroughly with clean water.
Cleanup
Clean tools and equipment with fresh water.
• 125–500 sq.ft. (12–46 sq.m.) per gallon of
cleaner concentrate
Application Instructions
Exterior
1. Use clean water to thoroughly prewet surface
to be cleaned.
Rinsing pressures above 1000 psi and fan spray
tips smaller than 15° may permanently damage
sensitive masonry. Flow rates under 6 gpm may
reduce cleaning productivity and contribute to
uneven cleaning results.
