Precauciones
El reactivo (A) contiene mercurio. Utilizar pipetas de seguridad. La
eliminación de residuos debe hacerse según la normativa legal vigente.
Prestaciones. Características de funcionamiento.
La reacción es lineal hasta 140 mEq/L Muestras con una concentración
superior deberán diluirse con agua desionizada. Multiplicar el resultado por
el factor de dilución empleado.
Las características de funcionamiento del producto dependen tanto del
reactivo como del sistema de lectura manual o automático empleados. Los
siguientes datos se han obtenido de forma manual:

Performance Characteristics
The reagent contains mercuric thiocyanate. Security pipettes shall be used
when working with this reagent.
The disposal of the residues has to be made according to legal local
regulations.
The reaction is linear up to 140 mEq/L. Samples with a higher concentration
will have to be diluted with deionized water. Multiply the final result by the
dilution factor.
The analytical performance characteristics of the product depend both
of the reagent and the reading system used, manual or automatic. The
following data have been obtained manually.
Intraseries Variation Coefficient: 1.82%
Interseries Variation Coefficient: 2.52%
Recovery: 97.7 %.

Exactitud: 97,7% de recuperación.
Turbid, hemolyzed or icteric serum samples will give abnormally high
values. Bromide interferes with the reaction. Chloride traces in the
glassware are enough to alter the final result.
Muestras séricas turbias, hemolizadas o ictéricas darán valores
anormalmente elevados. El bromuro interfiere incrementando falsamente
el resultado.
Trazas de cloruros en el material utilizado en el ensayo son suficientes
para colorear el reactivo.

conservés au réfrigérateur entre 2 et 8 ºC pendant une semaine.
Précautions d’emploi
Fonctionnement et caractéristiques de performance du dispositif.
Le réactif A contient du mercure. Utiliser des pipettes de sécurité.
L’élimination des déchets doit être effectuée conformément aux normes en
vigueur.
La réaction est linéaire jusqu’à 140 mEq/l. Les échantillons ayant une
concentration supérieure doivent être dilués avec de l’eau déionisée.
Multiplier le résultat par le facteur de dilution utilisé.
Le fonctionnement du produit dépend tant du réactif que du système de
lecture manuel ou automatique utilisé. Une technique manuelle a permis
d’obtenir les données suivantes:
Coefficient de variation dans la série: 1,82 %
Coefficient de variation entre les séries: 2,52 %
Exactitude: le pourcentage de récupération est de 97,7 %.
Les échantillons sériques troubles, hémolysés ou ictériques donnent des
valeurs anormalement élevées. Le bromure interfère en donnant un résultat
faussement élevé.
La présence de traces d’ions chlorures sur le matériel utilisé lors de l’essai
est suffisante pour colorer le réactif.
