PRESIDENTE DE BASC PERÚ
PRESIDENT OF BASC PERU
En los casi 18 años de operación de BASC PERÚ,
el desempeño de nuestra asociación ha sido de un
crecimiento continuo en el número de empresas,
cerrando el 2014 con 703 empresas BASC, de las
cuales 572 son certificadas y 131 están en proceso de
implementar el Sistema de Gestión en Control y Seguridad (SGCS) BASC. Asimismo, estamos orgullosos de
cumplir con las normas del buen gobierno corporativo
que nos rigen. En el año 2014 iniciamos las obras de
construcción de nuestra sede institucional ubicada en
el distrito de Magdalena y nos convertimos en una
plataforma certificadora de procesos ISO, para lo cual
un número significativo de nuestros auditores de certificación y funcionarios del capítulo siguieron los
cursos para ser reconocidos como auditores líderes
ISO (ISO 9001 e ISO 28000), con lo cual en el 2015
estaremos en condiciones de ayudar a que nuestras
empresas sean mejores al tener auditores más calificados y poder ofrecerles a costos accesibles certificaciones de calidad y de seguridad que tienen reconocimiento mundial.
Este esfuerzo no ha hecho más que ratificar el
rumbo trazado por nuestra asociación, ello a pesar de
que el mar no ha estado calmo, pues el comportamiento registrado de la economía del país y el incremento de actividades delictivas relacionadas a la
seguridad de la cadena de suministro del comercio
internacional, han sido preocupantes. Es por ello que
hemos redoblado nuestros esfuerzos en sensibilizar a
las empresas a fin de que se presenten al programa de
Operador Económico Autorizado (OEA) de la SUNAT y
sean parte del programa de comercio seguro que es
promovido por la Organización Mundial de Aduanas
(OMA), y que busca facilitar el comercio para las
empresas que sean reconocidas como seguras.
En esa línea, una nutrida delegación de BASC
PERÚ participó y colaboró con el VI Congreso Mundial
de World BASC Organization, denominado “Business
and Government Working Together: The Road to
Global Prosperity and Security”, que se realizó en el
mes de octubre en la ciudad de Washington, EE. UU.,

regards to the number of companies we are associated with, closing 2014 with 703 companies BASC, of

to meet any and all good corporate governance standards that serve as our framework. In 2014 we began
construction of our corporate headquarters located in
the district of Magdalena and we became an ISO
Process Certification Platform, for which a significant
number of our certifying auditors and chapter officers
followed courses to be recognized as lead auditors
with regards to ISO (ISO 9001 and ISO 28000), so that
in 2015 we will be able to help our companies to be
better due to them having more qualified auditors as
well as offer affordable quality and Security certifications that are recognized worldwide.
This has done nothing more than merely assure the
course that has been planned out for the association,
despite the turbulent markets, seeing as the country's
economy and increased criminal activities related to
international supply chain Security have become
worrisome. That is why we have redoubled our efforts
to sensitize companies in order for them to present
themselves to SUNAT'S Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) program as well as form part of the safe trade
program being promoted by the World Customs Organization (WCO), and seeks to facilitate trade for companies that are recognized as having high Security
standards.
In that vein, a large delegation of BASC PERU participated and collaborated with World BASC Organization's 6th World Congress called "Business and
Government Working Together: The Road to Global
Prosperity and Security" held in October at the Washington, USA, where numerous US federal agencies
such as DHS, CBP, ICE and the WCO participated.
The relationship between the national economy
and our business is directly proportional. In a scenario
donde participaron numerosas agencias federales americanas como DHS, CBP, ICE y la OMA.
La relación entre la economía nacional y nuestras
actividades es directamente proporcional. En un escenario con un significativo crecimiento del comercio internacional, particularmente de las exportaciones, los riesgos
y las amenazas de actividades ilícitas relacionadas a la
seguridad de los embarques son también crecientes: se
dan mayores volúmenes y diversificación de cargas,
mayor número de empresas, mayor cantidad de personas
participando en las cadenas logísticas, mayor cantidad
de unidades de transporte y por ende mayor flujo de
dinero, todo ello representa mayor oportunidad para el
crimen organizado. En el escenario opuesto, ante una
creciente producción de drogas y una disminución de
exportaciones que se da en el Perú durante los tres
últimos años, se genera un mayor riesgo para las empresas exportadoras por parte de los narcotraficantes, que
procuran contaminar sus operaciones a fin de utilizarlas
para enviar sus productos ilegales a otros países.
Para el 2015 el panorama se torna alentador. Hay un
consenso de los especialistas en prever que el Producto
Bruto Interno (PBI) de nuestro país crecería alrededor de
4% despúes de haber registrado solo 3,1% en el 2014
(BCR). Cabe señalar que en el 2013 el crecimiento fue de
5,8%. Se presenta un escenario favorable que haría posible retomar el rumbo de crecimiento de las exportaciones
y del comercio internacional en general, lo cual requiere el
fortalecimiento de nuestras actividades y la continua
promoción de una cultura de prevención de seguridad en
las operaciones de comercio internacional.
Si bien en la década pasada en el campo económico
se creció cinco veces, el crimen organizado también
creció en igual proporción; sin embargo, en el 2014 fue un
año de poco crecimiento económico, y en el aspecto
delincuencial fue un año de incremento. Las estadísticas
de actividades contra la seguridad ciudadana y la seguridad logística registraron mayores acciones delictivas que
en los años anteriores.
Así, entre los casos más representativos en exportaciones estuvo el decomiso en marzo, por parte de la
DIRANDRO, de 626 kilogramos de clorhidrato de cocaína
en una lujosa vivienda en el distrito limeño de La Molina.
En julio se incautó casi media tonelada de cocaína en
Barranca, donde una parte de la droga fue hallada en el
automóvil de un candidato a la alcaldía de ese distrito
norteño.
Al mes siguiente, en Trujillo, las autoridades dieron a
conocer lo que sería la incautación más grande de los
últimos años. Fueron 7,000 kilogramos de cocaína deco-

our country would grow around 4% after only registering 3.1% in 2014 (BCR). It should be noted that
growth in 2013 reached 5.8%. There is currently a
favorable scenario which would help us get back on
track for growth of exports and international trade as a
whole, which in turn requires us to strengthen our
activities as well as the continued promotion of a
Security and prevention culture, specifically in regards
to international trade operations.
While we may have grown fivefold in the past
decade in the economic field, organized crime has also
increased in the same proportion. However, 2014 was
a year of low economic growth, while criminal operations throughout the year actually increased. The
statistics on activities against public Security as well
as security logistics recorded higher amounts of criminal activity than in previous years.
Thus, among the most representative cases in
exports was the seizure carried out by the DRIANDRO
in March. Over 626 kilograms of cocaine were seized in
a luxurious apartment in the Lima district of La Molina.
In July nearly half a ton of cocaine was seized in
Barranca, where a portion of the drug was found in the
car of a candidate for mayor of the northern district.
The following month, in Trujillo, authorities released
what would be the largest seizure in recent years.
7,000 kilograms of cocaine were seized in a warehouse located on the boardwalk in Huanchaco, which
were part of haul that the Mexican mafia had planned
to dispatch to parts to Spain and Belgium in a span of
six months.

camouflage had been detected in November 2013 in
Callao where 141 kilos of high purity cocaine was
seized.

camuflaje ya había sido detectada en noviembre del 2013
en el Callao donde se incautó 141 kilos de cocaína de alta
pureza.
Faced with these facts of primary interest for our
certified companies, BASC Peru sends its"Notidecomisos" (Newsletter) to companies so that they may
have timely information related to recent forms of
unlawful acts affecting the security of the foreign trade
supply chain.
Frente a estos hechos de primer interés para nuestras
empresas certificadas, BASC PERÚ a través de sus
“Notidecomisos” envía a sus empresas oportunamente,
información relacionada a recientes modalidades de
ilícitos cometidos que afectan la seguridad de la cadena
de suministro del comercio exterior.
As shown, our scope (illicit activities within the
foreign trade distribution chain), far from diminishing or
appearing to be under control, is being increasingly
threatened by national and international criminal organizations.
Como se aprecia, nuestro campo de acción (actividades ilícitas en la cadena de distribución del comercio
exterior) lejos de disminuir o dar visos de estar siendo
controlado, está siendo amenazado de forma creciente
por las organizaciones delincuenciales nacionales e internacionales.
De ahí que reiteramos nuestra disposición de seguir,
conjuntamente con las empresas, autoridades y entidades relacionadas, trabajando y liderando el combate a
dichas amenazas. Creemos contar como siempre con la
confianza de ustedes quienes confían y apoyan nuestras
actividades. Así lo revela el nivel de 88% de satisfacción
que registra nuestra reciente encuesta institucional a nivel
nacional. Si bien es un porcentaje alto, nosotros mediante
nuestro trabajo buscamos la mejora continua con la finalidad de superar el 90% de satisfacción el próximo año.
Deseo agradecer en nombre de nuestra organización la
confianza que han depositado en nosotros al ser una
empresa BASC.

entities which are working on and leading the fight

we have your trust and support with regards to our
activities. This was revealed by the 88% level of satisfaction that our recent nationwide institutional survey.
While we may have a high percentage, we seek continuous improvement in order to exceed 90% satisfaction next year. I want to thank on behalf of our organization for the confidence you have placed in us by

¿Quiénes somos?
La Alianza Empresarial para un Comercio
Seguro (BASC PERÚ) es el capítulo peruano de
la Organización Mundial BASC (World BASC
Organization - WBO por sus siglas en inglés),
fundada en el año 1997, con el propósito de
promover prácticas seguras y mecanismos de
simplificación en la cadena de suministro del
comercio exterior peruano, en cooperación con
autoridades del sector público, privado y organismos internacionales.

The Business Alliance for a Secure Commerce
(BASC PERU) is the Peruvian division of the
World BASC Organization - WBO created in
1997, in order to promote secure practices and
mechanism of simplification in the supply chain
of the Peruvian foreign commerce, in cooperation with the authorities of the public and private sector and international organisms.

En la Asociación Civil BASC PERÚ, organización sin fines
de lucro, promovemos la implementación de estándares y
procedimientos de control y seguridad para minimizar los
riesgos en la cadena de suministro del comercio exterior,
mediante la evaluación, capacitación y entrenamiento
permanente en temas referidos a los Sistemas de Gestión
en Control y Seguridad BASC de nuestros asociados, así
como el prestar servicios de asesoría a instalaciones
portuarias para la obtención de la Declaración de Cumplimiento establecido en el Código PBIP.
Asimismo, BASC PERÚ se compromete a prestar servicios de auditoría y certificación de Sistemas de Gestión
confiables, basados en los principios de imparcialidad,
competencia, responsabilidad, transparencia, confidencialidad, recibo y respuesta oportuna de quejas; en busca
de la mejora continua y satisfacción de las partes interesadas.
Se protege la información que nos proporcionan nuestros
asociados y otros grupos de interés, manteniendo absoluta confidencialidad y reserva, en estrecha coordinación
con instituciones nacionales e internacionales.
Para el logro de estos compromisos garantizamos la

The BASC PERU Civil Association, a nonprofit organization, promotes the implementation of control and Security
standards and procedures in order to minimize risks in the
supply chain of foreign trade, through assessment, workshops and ongoing training on issues related to the
BASC's Control and Security Management Systems of
our partners, as well as providing advisory services to port
facilities in order to obtain the Compliance Statement
established in the ISPS.
Also, BASC PERU undertakes to provide audit and certification services zregarding trustworthy management
systems based on the principles of impartiality, competence, accountability, transparency, confidentiality, receipt
and timely response to complaints; seeking continuous
improvement and satisfaction of stakeholders.
The information provided by our partners and other stakeholders is maintained under strict confidentiality and
discretion, in close coordination with national and international institutions.
We guarantee the effectiveness and improvement of the
quality management system, as well as the integrity, competence and welfare of our employees in order to achieve
these commitments.

El gráfico muestra la distribución de empresas certificadas por actividad comercial. La tendencia sigue siendo la
misma comparada con el año 2013, siendo los sectores
más representativos el Exportador, Agente de Carga,
Agente de Aduana, Vigilancia y Seguridad Privada y
Transporte Terrestre de Carga. Precisamente, estos dos
últimos han tenido un ligero incremento a fines del año
2014.
The graph shows the distribution of certified companies
by the business activity they carry out. The trend remains
the same compared to 2013, with the most representative
sectors being Exports, Freight Forwarding, Customs
Broker, Surveillance and Private Security and Freight
Trucking. Indeed, the latter two have had a slight increase
in late 2014.

El siguiente gráfico muestra los sectores a los que pertenecen las empresas que se sumaron a la certificación
BASC durante el año 2014, donde podemos apreciar que
el sector exportador sigue siendo el más dinámico con un
26%. Les siguen las empresas de Transporte Terrestre de
Carga, Vigilancia y Seguridad Privada y Agentes de
Carga, quienes representan casi a la mitad de las empresas aprobadas; la gran mayoría empresas que prestan
servicios de tercerización y que optan por implementar
prácticas seguras a fin de mitigar los riesgos que se
puedan presentar en la cadena de suministro. Cabe señalar que este incremento en empresas que prestan servicios de tercerización es debido a la exigencia por parte
de empresas asociadas BASC a que sus proveedores
cuenten con la certificación.
The following chart categorizes companies that acquired
BASC certification during 2014 according to the sectors
to which they belong. As you can see, the export sector
continues to be the most dynamic at 26%. They are
followed by Companies in Freight Trucking, Surveillance
and Private Security and Cargo Agents who represent
almost half of approved companies; the vast majority of
companies providing outsourcing services and opting to
deploy safe practices in order to mitigate the risks that
may arise in the supply chain. It should be noted that this

A diciembre del año 2014, un total de 131 empresas de
Lima y provincias fueron aprobadas por Comité de Certificación BASC para que den inicio a su proceso de implementación y certificación del Sistema de Gestión en Control y Seguridad (SGCS) BASC. Cabe resaltar que durante
el 2014 se realizaron 06 programas gratuitos de trabajo
para empresas en proceso de certificación “Cómo implementar el SGCS BASC”, los cuales tuvieron como objetivo absolver las dudas e inquietudes acerca de la Norma y
Estándares a 33 empresas de los rubros Exportador,
Agente de Carga, Agente de Aduana, Vigilancia y Seguridad Privada, entre otros. Otro dato importante es que, de
las 33 empresas capacitadas, 23 lograron certificarse con
BASC a fines de diciembre del 2014.

By December 2014, a total of 131 companies in Lima and

process. It should be noted that six free work programs
were implemented for companies in the certification
process during June of 2014. This was done with regards
to the "How to implement BASC's SGCS", which was

Estas reuniones tienen como objetivo uniformar criterios
para la ejecución de auditorías, obtener información objetiva sobre la efectividad del Sistema de Gestión en Control y Seguridad (SGCS) BASC, capacitar a los Auditores
e intercambiar buenas prácticas de seguridad. Asimismo,
la participación de los jefes de área del equipo BASC
PERÚ permite compartir ideas y comunicar acerca de las
actividades más importantes de dichas áreas, así como
recibir comentarios acerca de las necesidades e inquietudes de los asociados BASC.
These meetings are aimed at standardizing criteria in
order to carry out audits, obtain objective information on
the effectiveness of BASC's Control and Security Management System as well as for the exchange of good security practices. Heads of different areas within the BASC
PERU team participated in order to share ideas and communicate about the most important activities in these
areas, as well as receive feedback on the needs and
concerns of all BASC members.
Ceremonias de Certificación BASC
BASC Certification Ceremonies
Durante el 2014 se realizaron una serie de Ceremonias de
Certificación BASC para las empresas que lograron
implementar satisfactoriamente su Sistema de Gestión en
Control y Seguridad (SGCS) BASC. Se incluyó en las
ceremonias la presentación de los jefes de cada área del
equipo BASC PERÚ, con el objetivo de generar un primer
contacto con el asociado y exponer las funciones y actividades de cada área. Las ceremonias se realizaron en los
Seminarios BASC y en la Cámara de Comercio Americana del Perú (AMCHAM), a quienes agradecemos por
brindarnos sus instalaciones para el desarrollo de los
eventos.
During 2014 a number of BASC Certification Ceremonies
were held for companies that managed to successfully
implement BASC's Control and Security Management
System. The heads of each area of the BASC PERU team
were included in the presentation ceremonies with the
aim of generating a first contact with the partner and
explain the functions and activities of each area. The ceremonies were conducted in BASC seminars and the American Chamber of Commerce of Peru (AMCHAM), whom
we thank for providing their facilities so that we may carry
out events.

Durante el año 2014 un total de 12,087 personas fueron
capacitados por BASC PERÚ a través de su Centro de
Formación y Capacitación. Este número representa un
incremento de 116% en comparación con el año 2013 y
un 700% más en el periodo 2009 - 2014.

Tal como muestra el siguiente gráfico, en el año 2014 se
llevaron a cabo 328 capacitaciones en Lima y provincias,
que corresponden a los cursos regulares teórico – prácticos, cursos “in house”, cursos internacionales y charlas
gratuitas BASC – CEDRO. Entre los cursos regulares
podemos nombrar el de Interpretación de la Norma y

Management in Organizations, Management Indicators
Applied to SGCS BASC course, Container Inspection ,
Information Security, Mapping and Characterization
Process, Suspicious Shipment Reports, Laundering
Prevention, Physical Security and Facilities, among
others. In addition, "in house" courses retain their relevance for BASC certified companies as well as those still
found within the certification process. Its advantage is that
it allows course contented to be adapted according to the
needs and realities of the business without having to move
staff out of their facilities; thus optimizing the time dedicated to development. 77 companies received the "in
house" course within their facilities this year; the following
provides details as to some of them:
Estándares BASC, Auditor Interno BASC V04:2012,
Gestión de Riesgos en las Organizaciones, Indicadores
de Gestión Aplicados al SGCS BASC, Inspección de
Contenedores, Seguridad Informática, Mapeo y Caracterización de Procesos, Reporte de Embarques Sospechosos, Prevención de Lavado de Activos, Seguridad Física e
Instalaciones, entre otros. Por otro lado, los cursos en
modalidad “in house” siguen manteniendo su relevancia
para las empresas certificadas BASC y las que se
encuentran en proceso de certificación. Su ventaja radica
en que permite adaptar el contenido de los cursos en
función de las necesidades y la realidad de la empresa sin
tener que desplazar al personal fuera de sus instalaciones; de esta forma se optimiza el tiempo destinado al
desarrollo del mismo. Este año fueron 77 empresas que
recibieron el curso “in house” dentro de sus instalaciones;
a continuación se detallan algunas de ellas:

La World BASC Organization (WBO), a solicitud de la
Organización Mundial de Aduanas (OMA), designó al
capítulo peruano para que en su representación capacite a funcionarios de la Aduana de Bolivia en su Programa Operador Económico Autorizado (OEA). Así pues,
del 24 al 26 de marzo, se llevó a cabo el dictado del
curso “Normas de Seguridad para el Comercio Exterior
OMA/OEA, BASC y C-TPAT”, a cargo del Auditor Internacional del capítulo BASC PERÚ, Dr. Guillermo Avanzini, dentro de las instalaciones de la Aduana Nacional de
Bolivia. Durante tres (03) días, 30 funcionarios de las
distintas sedes de la Administración Aduanera de Bolivia
pudieron conocer e interpretar el Programa OEA/ Norma
y Estándares BASC V04:2012 - CTPAT, elaborar el mapa
y caracterización de los procesos de su organización,
identificar los riesgos de los diferentes actores de la
cadena de suministro; y conocer y aplicar una metodología para la realización de una auditoría del Programa
OEA/BASC (planeación, preparación, ejecución, informe
y seguimiento). El curso concluyó a entera satisfacción
de la Presidencia Ejecutiva de la Aduana Nacional de
Bolivia, representada por la Sra. Marlene Ardaya, la
Gerencia General, el equipo OEA y los funcionarios
participantes. El Presidente Internacional de la WBO, Sr.
Fermin Cuza, felicitó al capítulo BASC PERÚ por el
desarrollo y resultado de este curso, resaltando la
importancia del trabajo en equipo dentro de BASC,
BASC - Aduanas y BASC - sector privado, considerando
que es la mejor estrategia para alcanzar la seguridad
hemisférica y al mismo tiempo avanzar con el crecimiento y fortalecimiento de BASC.
The World BASC Organization (WBO), convened by the
World Customs Organization (WCO), appointed the Peruvian chapter so that they may train Bolivian customs
officials in the Authorized Economic Operator Program
(AEO) on their behalf. From March 24th to 26th the
"Security Standards for Foreign Trade OMA / AEO, BASC
and C-TPAT" course was held by the International Auditor from the Peruvian Chapter of BASC, Dr. Guillermo
Avanzini, within the premises of the National Customs
Agency of Bolivia. For three (03) days, 30 officials from
the various offices of the Customs Administration of
Bolivia were able to understand and interpret the AEO
Program / Rules and Standards BASC V04:2012 CTPAT, draw the map and characterization of the processes of your organization, identify the risks of the different
actors within the supply chain; and know and apply a
methodology for conducting an audit of the AEO / BASC
program (planning, preparation, execution, reporting and
monitoring). The course concluded to the satisfaction of
the Executive President of the National Customs Agency
of Bolivia, represented by Ms. Marlene Ardaya, the General Manager, the AEO team officials and participants. The
International President of the WBO (World BASC Organization), Mr. Fermin Cuza, congratulated the Peruvian
Chapter of BASC PERU for its conduct as well as for the
outcome of this course, emphasizing the importance of
teamwork within BASC, BASC - Customs and BASC private sector, considering it to be the best strategy to
achieve hemispheric security while advancing the growth
and strengthening of BASC..

Del 9 al 11 de abril y con la colaboración de la Cámara
Nacional de Exportadores de Bolivia (CANEB), se realizó
el Seminario Internacional “Iniciativas Globales de Seguridad, Gestión de Riesgos y Buenas Prácticas de Seguridad en la Cadena de Suministro del Comercio Exterior”,
dirigida al sector privado. El seminario, liderado por la
Sra. Kandy Escobar, Gerente de Formación y Capacitación y Auditora Internacional WBO del capítulo BASC
PERÚ, contó con la presencia de participantes de las
principales empresas de Bolivia (Kimberly Bolivia S.A.,
Minera San Cristóbal S.A., PIL Andina S.A., pertenecientes al Grupo Gloria, entre otras), y tuvo como objetivo
proporcionar a los participantes un alcance de las iniciativas globales de seguridad del COMEX, así como saber
identificar los riesgos de los actores de la cadena de
suministro internacional y dar a conocer las buenas prácticas aplicadas por las empresas que cuentan con el
Sistema de Gestión en Control y Seguridad (SGCS)
BASC. La Clausura del evento estuvo a cargo del Presidente de la CANEB, señor Lic. Guillermo Pou Munt y la
Gerente General de la CANEB, Sra. Claudia Vizcarra,
quien manifestó el agradecimiento a la WBO, en especial
al Capítulo BASC PERÚ, por haber hecho realidad este
primer acercamiento que abre camino a la posibilidad de
la firma de un Convenio, con el fin de poder organizar los
cursos de Interpretación de la Norma y Auditor Interno
BASC, así como de la creación del Capítulo BASC BOLIVIA.
From April 9th to 11th, and in collaboration with the
National Chamber of Exporters of Bolivia (CANEB), the
International Seminar "Global Security Initiatives, Risk
Management and Good Security Practices within
Foreign Trade Supply Chain" was held and was directed
to the private sector. The seminar, led by Ms. Kandy
Escobar, Manager of Education and Training as well as a
WBO international auditor from BASC PERU, was attended by participants from major companies in Bolivia
(Kimberly Bolivia SA, Minera San Cristobal SA, PIL
Andina SA, companies belonging to the Gloria Group,
among others), and aimed to provide participants with a
range of global Security initiatives from COMEX, as well
as know-how in order to identify risks stemming from
players in the international supply chain and publicize
good practices by companies with BASC's Control and
Security Management System. The Closing ceremony
was led by the President of the CANEB, Mr. Guillermo
Pou Munt and General Manager of the CANEB, Ms.
Claudia Vizcarra, who expressed gratitude to the WBO,
especially to the Peruvian Chapter of BASC, for making
this possible. This paves the way for the possibility of
signing an agreement, to organize courses based on
BASC Standards Interpretation and Internal Auditing as
well as in the creation of a Bolivian Chapter of BASC.

empresas asociadas) una revisión general de los requisitos de la norma, así como las técnicas para realizar Auditorías ISO 28000: 2007.
The objective of the courses that were conducted in the
months of July and October was to provide participants
(BASC International Auditors and representatives of
partner companies) with an overview of standard requirements as well as auditing techniques regarding ISO
28000: 2007.

Curso realizado los días 03 y 04 de julio en las instalaciones de la Sociedad de Industrias (SNI) y dirigido por el
Auditor Internacional WBO, Ing. Miller Romero, quien
profundizó en los cambios significativos de la nueva
Norma BASC V04:2012 respecto a la versión 03 del año
2008. Asimismo, se tocó el tema de Gestión de Auditorías BASC bajo el enfoque de riesgos en la cadena de
suministro. Los participantes rindieron exámenes de los
conocimientos impartidos y recibieron el certificado que
reconoce su participación y aprobación del curso a
nombre del Centro Internacional de Capacitación BASC
(CICAB) de la World BASC Organization (WBO).
Course conducted on July 3rd and 4th in the premises of
the Society of Industries (NSI) and led by the International WBO Auditor, Mr. Miller Romero, who elaborated on
the significant changes of the new BASC Standard
V04:2012 regarding version 03 of 2008. Likewise, they
touched upon the issue of BASC Audit Management
specifying its approach to supply chain risks. Participants
took exams based on the imparted knowledge and received a certificate acknowledging their participation and
course approval on behalf of the BASC International
Training Center (CICAB) of the World BASC Organization
(WBO).

Durante una semana, 24 profesionales, entre ellos
funcionarios de DICAPI, DIRANDRO, Ministerio Público –
Fiscalía de la Nación, ENAPU Iquitos, Dirección General
de Aviación Civil del MTC, SUNAT, una representante del
Ecuador, profesionales de empresas BASC y colaboradores pertenecientes al capítulo BASC PERÚ, fueron
instruidos en la V04:2012 de la Norma y Estándares
For a week, 24 professionals, including officials from
DICAPI, DIRANDRO, Public Ministry - Prosecutor's
Office, ENAPU Iquitos, Directorate General of Civil Aviation of the MTC, SUNAT, one representative of Ecuador,
BASC business professionals and collaborators from the
Peruvian Chapter of BASC, were instructed in V04:2012
of BASC Rules and Standards as well as issues regarding

basadas en el riesgo de las operaciones. La dinámica de
trabajo incluyó la realización de Auditorías de Campo en
las instalaciones de un grupo de empresas BASC: PESQUERA DIAMANTE, SHOHIN, TALMA, TOPY TOP, CORPORACIÓN DE TRANSPORTES PORTUARIOS y NEOCARGO, a las que agradecemos por su apoyo, y en
cuyas instalaciones los participantes pudieron aplicar los
conocimientos impartidos en aula y constatar los procesos de seguridad que cumplen las empresas de acuerdo
a los requisitos de seguridad establecidos en la Norma y
Estándares BASC V04:2012.

Realizado el 08 y 09 de setiembre, el seminario se enfocó
en la Gestión de Riesgos bajo el enfoque de la Norma
ISO 31000:2009, y tuvo como objetivos familiarizar a los
participantes con los principios y directrices aplicables a
la gestión del riesgo, comprender los objetivos de la
Norma ISO 31000:2009 y el contexto en el que se desarrolla, e identificar los beneficios derivados de la incorporación de la gestión del riesgo a la gestión general de la
empresa.

Held on September 8th and 9th, this seminar focused on
Risk Management under the scope of ISO 31000: 2009
and aimed to familiarize participants with the principles
and guidelines for risk management, understand the
objectives of ISO 31000: 2009 and the context in which it
develops, and identify the benefits of incorporating risk
management into the general management of the company.

la Norma BASC V04:2012 e ISO 28000:2007.
The seminar aimed at helping participants acquire the
skills to graph supply chains, and to introduce participants to the methodology for the Evaluation of Risks in
the Supply Chain, a new approach to BASC Standard

El curso se desarrolló por primera vez en el Perú del 01 al
05 de setiembre y tuvo como objetivo que los participantes dominen la Auditoría de Sistema de Gestión de la
Seguridad para la Cadena de Suministro (SGSCS)
basado en la norma ISO 28000. El curso intensivo de
cinco días permitió a los participantes desarrollar las
competencias necesarias para auditar un Sistema de
Gestión de la Seguridad para la Cadena de Suministro
(SGSCS), según la certificación ISO 28000, y gestionar
un equipo de auditores mediante la aplicación de principios ampliamente reconocidos de auditorías, procedimientos y técnicas. El curso lo desarrolló la PECB
(Professional Evaluation and Certification Board) con
sede en Canadá, a través de su Auditor e Implementador
Líder ISO 28000, el Ing. Miller Romero. Con esta capacitación, BASC PERÚ cuenta ya con 15 auditores líderes
en ISO 28000 para realizar auditorías tanto a nivel nacional como internacional según la norma ISO 28000.
The course was held for the first time in Peru from
September 1st to 5th and aimed to help participants
master the Auditing with regards to the Supply Chain
Security Management System (SGSCS) based on the
ISO 28000 standard. The intensive five-day course
allowed participants to develop the skills necessary to
audit a Supply Chain Security Management System
according to the ISO 28000 certification, and manage a
team of auditors by applying widely recognized principles for auditing, procedures and techniques. The course
was developed by the PECB (Professional Evaluation
and Certification Board) based in Canada, through its
Auditor and Lead ISO 28000 Implementer, Eng. Miller
Romero. With this training, BASC PERU now has 15 ISO
28000 lead auditors to audit at both a national and international level according to the ISO 28000 standard..

El curso se realizó del 01 al 05 de noviembre, acreditado
por PECB (Professional Evaluation and Certification
Board) – Canadá, Organismo Internacional Certificador
de Competencia de Personas a nivel mundial y tuvo
como objetivo obtener y certificar las competencias para
el dominio de la Auditoría de Sistemas de Gestión de
Calidad bajo el referencial de la Norma ISO 9001, para lo
cual los participantes recibieron los conocimientos y
habilidades necesarias para planificar y realizar las auditorías internas y externas de acuerdo con dicha Norma.
The course was held from November 1st to 5th, accredited by PECB (Professional Evaluation and Certification
Board) - International Certifying Body that trains people
worldwide and aims to obtain and certify the skills
needed to master Quality Management systems auditing
under reference of ISO 9001, for which participants
received knowledge and skills to plan and conduct internal as well as external audits in accordance with said
Standard.

Los desayunos empresariales se realizaron en los meses
de julio y noviembre y estuvieron dirigidos a Gerentes
Generales de empresas asociadas BASC. El tema desarrollado fue “Indicadores de gestión BASC como herramienta para la toma de decisiones de la Alta Dirección”,
dirigido por el Expositor Internacional especialista en
Seguridad y Sistemas de Gestión, Ing. Miller Romero. La
agenda incluyó la revisión de indicadores de seguridad
por procesos así como ejemplos de indicadores de seguridad BASC. A nombre de BASC PERÚ agradecemos la
participación de los Gerentes Generales de las empresas
asociadas BASC.
The business breakfasts were held in the months of July
and November and were aimed at CEOs of BASC partner
companies . The theme discussed was "BASC Management indicators as a tool for decision making by senior
management" led by the International Exhibitor, Specialist in Security and Management Systems, Mr. Miller

En el mes de junio del 2014 se dio inicio al Programa de
Desarrollo Gerencial (PDG) “Seguridad Integral para el
Comercio Exterior”, impartido por la Escuela de Postgrado de la Universidad San Ignacio de Loyola en convenio
con BASC PERÚ. El programa se desarrolló en tres
módulos, donde se resaltan los cursos de Comercio Internacional, Supply Chain Management e Iniciativas Globales de Seguridad. La Ceremonia de Clausura está programada para fines del mes de febrero del 2015.
In June of 2014, the Management Development Program
(MDG) "Integrated Security for Foreign Trade" began. It
was provided by the Graduate School of the Universidad
San Ignacio de Loyola in partnership with BASC PERU.
The program was developed in three modules, basing the
courses around International Trade, Supply Chain Management and Global Security Initiatives. The closing is
scheduled for the end of February 2015.

En el año 2014 BASC PERÚ realizó cuatro cursos dirigidos a organismos del sector público con el objetivo de
promover las buenas prácticas de BASC PERÚ para
mantener la seguridad en las operaciones de comercio
exterior entre sus empresas asociadas. Los cursos tuvieron una duración de 5 días y se tocaron los temas de
Seguridad Integral para la Carga, Interpretación de la
Norma BASC, Pautas para llevar a cabo una Auditoría
Interna, entre otros. Asimismo, el curso incluyó las visitas
a las instalaciones de empresas asociadas, donde los
funcionarios pudieron verificar la aplicación de los conocimientos impartidos en aula y constatar los procesos de
seguridad que cumple una empresa de acuerdo a los
requisitos de seguridad establecidos por la Norma y

In 2014, BASC PERU conducted four courses for public
sector organizations in order to promote good practices
as provided by BASC PERU in order to maintain security
in foreign trade transactions between associated companies. The courses lasted five days and the topics covered
included Integrated Cargo Security, Interpretation of
BASC Standards, and Guidelines to conduct an internal
audit, among others. The course also included visits to
the facilities of partner companies, where officials were
able to verify the application of said knowledge that had
been taught in the classroom and observe Security
procedures that a company must follow according to the
Security requirements established by BASC Rules and
Standard, all within the framework of the Peruvian legislation. The following provides details on the public

Realizadas en los meses de febrero y setiembre, las
charlas estuvieron dirigidas a funcionarios de empresas
certificadas y en proceso de certificación BASC, Gerentes de Operaciones, Jefes de Seguridad, RRHH, Comercial y demás miembros interesados en implementar el
SGCS BASC. Los temas impartidos fueron el de Interpretación de la Norma & Estándares y Auditor Interno BASC,
ambos de acuerdo a la versión V04:2012. En el evento
realizado en el mes de setiembre se dictó el curso de
Inspección de Contenedores dentro de las instalaciones
del Terminal Portuario Euroandino.

implementing the SGCS BASC certification. The topics

BASC PERU in the process of certification as a Port Security Organization (PSO)
En el mes de noviembre BASC PERÚ remitió los sílabos
correspondientes para aprobación por parte de la Autoridad Portuaria Nacional (APN) como una Organización de
Seguridad Portuaria para dictar los cursos de Seguridad
Portuaria y Gestión de Seguridad Portuaria. Asimismo,
ese mismo mes se llevó a cabo la auditoría a la Organización de OPR BASC PERÚ, revisándose los documentos
relacionados a la OSP, sin ninguna observación.
In November BASC PERU sent the corresponding syllabus for approval by the National Port Authority (NPA) as
a National Port Authority as a Port Security Organization

En el mes de julio del 2014 se firmó la renovación del
Convenio de Cooperación Interinstitucional entre
BASC PERÚ y el Centro de Información y Educación
para la Prevención del Abuso de Drogas (CEDRO), a
cargo de las autoridades de ambas instituciones, Sr.
Raúl Saldías, Presidente del Consejo Directivo de la
WBO y Presidente de BASC PERÚ y el Sr. Alejandro
Vassilaqui, Director Ejecutivo de CEDRO. La renovación del convenio reafirma el compromiso de ambas
instituciones frente a la problemática del consumo de
las drogas. Reflejo de ello son las Charlas de Concientización para la Prevención de Consumo de Alcohol y Drogas que se realizan como parte de las actividades del convenio, para los colaboradores de las
empresas asociadas BASC a nivel nacional. Para este
nuevo ciclo se espera incluir temas de prevención en
ludopatía, así como asistencia técnica, servicio de
orientación y consejería en drogas.

In July 2014, BASC PERU and the Center for Information and Education for the Prevention of Drug Abuse
(CEDRO), signed the renewal of their cooperation
agreement. It was signed by the authorities of both
institutions, Mr. Raul Saldías Chairman of the Board of
the WBO and President of BASC PERU and Mr.
Alejandro Vassilaqui, Executive Director of CEDRO.
Said renewal demonstrated the commitment of both
institutions against the rising amount of drug
problems. Evidence of this is the Awareness Lectures
for the Prevention of Alcohol and Drugs that were
carried out as part of the activities of the aforementioned agreement for contributors of BASC member
companies nationwide. This new cycle is expected to
include prevention issues in gambling, as well as
technical assistance, guidance and counseling services for drug abuse.

Realizado el 13 de febrero en las instalaciones de la
Sociedad Nacional de Industrias (SNI), el evento congregó a todos los actores involucrados en el comercio internacional marítimo y tuvo como ejes centrales advertir
sobre las medidas adoptadas por la DICAPI para evitar la
piratería en los diferentes puertos del país, informar
sobre la seguridad en la cadena de distribución física
internacional marítima y las tendencias en el sector marítimo – portuario, así como la importancia de los puertos

Conducted on February 13th at the premises of the
National Society of Industries (NSI), this event brought all

The course was held on August 21st. It mainly focused on
reporting the transport of chemicals and seized assets, as
well as the challenges face due to competitiveness in the

Se llevó a cabo el 07 de octubre y congregó a todos los
actores involucrados en el comercio internacional aéreo.
Se desarrollaron los temas sobre la Importancia de la
Cadena de Frío, Procesos Seguros en la Cadena de
Suministro de Carga Aérea, Situación del TID en el sector
aéreo: Operaciones de interdicción y logros de la Policía
Nacional del Perú y finalmente el tema sobre Normativas
que regulan el Transporte de Carga por Vía Aérea”. El
evento concluyó a entera satisfacción de los más de 140
participantes de empresas asociadas BASC. Asimismo,
agradecemos a las empresas CORPORACIÓN SEALER´S y FLINK S.A.C. que participaron como auspiciadores y a FRÍO AÉREO ASOCIACIÓN CIVIL y DEPÓSITOS

Con el fin de concientizar a los miembros de los diversos
gremios que conforman el directorio en fomentar una
cultura de prevención de seguridad en las actividades de
comercio exterior, así como tener mejora continua en
relación a los procesos de la organización y generar
conciencia en seguridad, se programaron durante el año
2014 cuatro (04) Charlas Gratuitas de Sensibilización
dirigida a sus asociados, en los meses de marzo, abril,

It was held on October 7th and brought together all
stakeholders in international air trade. They delved into
topics on the Importance of the Cold Chain, Safe Processes in the Air Freight Supply Chain, TID status in the
aviation sector: Interdiction operations and achievements
of the National Police of Peru, and concluded with the
topic on Regulations that regulate Freight by Air. "The
event concluded to the satisfaction of the more than 140
participants from BASC associated companies. We

In order to raise awareness among members of various

Con el objetivo de brindar orientación a los participantes

planes de respuesta ante eventos críticos que minimicen
los riesgos vigentes en sus operaciones, se realizaron
charlas de sensibilización “Realice Exportaciones Seguras” en las ciudades de Chiclayo, Trujillo, Tumbes, Piura,
Ica, Chimbote, Lima, Iquitos, Arequipa, Tacna e Ilo. Las
charlas contaron con el apoyo del Ministerio Público –
Fiscalía de la Nación, con el tema “Tercero Civil Responsable”; de la Dirección Antidrogas de la Policía Nacional
del Perú, con el tema “Rol de la DIRANDRO en materia
de seguridad para el comercio exterior de la región”; de
representantes del Capítulo BASC PERÚ, quienes abordaron el tema “Oportunidades y Amenazas en el Comercio Exterior, Sistema de Gestión en Control y Seguridad
de la Certificación BASC”; y finalmente representantes

Del 26 al 28 del mes de junio se llevó a cabo la IV Feria
Internacional de Transporte de Carga, Logística y Comercio Exterior Perú Cargo Week 2014, en el Centro de Convenciones de la Costa Verde. Durante los tres días
funcionarios del capítulo peruano estuvieron presentes
brindando información sobre el proceso de certificación,
alcances de Norma y Estándares BASC, entre otros
tópicos, para lo cual se contó con un stand preparado
especialmente para el evento.
From June 26th to 28th, the IV International Freight,
Logistics and Foreign Trade Fair was held during Peru
Cargo Week 2014 at the Convention Center in the Costa
Verde. Peruvian chapter officials were present for three
days in order to provide information about the certification
process and the scope of BASC Rules and Standards,
among other topics. They prepared a special stand exclusively for the event.

BASC PERÚ, en proceso a convertirse en organismo
certificador ISO, estuvo presente por primera vez en el
evento Semana de la Calidad 2014 “Innovación y
Productividad”, realizado del 29 de setiembre al 02 de
octubre en el Hotel Country Club, en San Isidro. El
programa incluyó conferencias nacionales e internacionales, talleres participativos, entrega al Premio Nacional
a la Calidad 2014, entre otros. Precisamente, BASC
PERÚ participó con una ponencia, a cargo de la Jefe del
Área de Afiliaciones, la Srta. Paula López, con el tema
“Escenario actual de la seguridad en el comercio internacional” y del Sr. Germán Arce, Jefe de Seguridad Física y
Prevención de Riesgos de la empresa asociada Tecnológica de Alimentos S.A., quien brindó testimonio de cómo
la certificación BASC contribuye a la minimización de
riesgos en su empresa.
BASC PERU, on process to becoming an ISO certification
body, was present for Quality Week 2014"Innovation and
Productivity" for the first time. The event was held from
September 29th to October 2 at the Country Club Hotel in
San Isidro. The program included national and international conferences, participatory workshops, the National
Quality Award 2014, among others. BASC PERU made a
presentation by International BASC Auditor, Ms. Paula

Por segundo año consecutivo, BASC PERÚ estuvo
presente en la EXPOALIMENTARIA 2014, feria internacional de alimentos, bebidas, maquinaria, equipos, insumos, envases y embalajes, servicios, restaurantes y
gastronomía más grande de la región, la cual se constituye como el punto de encuentro internacional de empresas exportadoras y selectos compradores provenientes
de los cinco continentes. El evento, que congregó a más
de 30,000 visitantes, se llevó a cabo del 27 al 29 del mes
de agosto, en el Centro de Convenciones Jockey.

For the second consecutive year, BASC PERU attended
the EXPOALIMENTARIA 2014, the largest international
gastronomy fair in the region for food, beverages, machinery, equipment, supplies, packaging, services, and
restaurants. It was chosen as a pivotal point with regards
to exporting companies and selected buyers from five
continents. The event, which attracted over 30,000
visitors, was held from August 27th to 29th in the Jockey
Convention Center.

BASC PERÚ participó de este importante evento, realizado el 11 de noviembre, que tuvo como objetivo promover
el conocimiento de la Alianza del Pacífico, los beneficios
del nuevo bloque económico y las oportunidades que
desarrollarán diversos sectores, principalmente las
pequeñas y medianas empresas de la Región. Durante el
evento se realizaron un gran número de ponencias dirigidas por expositores nacionales e internacionales de
países como México, Estados Unidos, Colombia y Chile.
BASC PERÚ tuvo a su cargo la ponencia titulada “Escenario actual de la Seguridad en el Comercio Internacional”, dirigida por la Srta. Paula López Villegas, Jefe de
Afiliaciones y Servicios Especializados de BASC PERÚ.
BASC PERU participated in this important event, held on
November 11th, which aimed to promote awareness of
the Pacific Alliance, the benefits of the new economic
block and opportunities to develop various sectors,
especially small and medium enterprises in the region.
During the event a large number of papers were addressed by national and international exhibitors from countries like Mexico, United States, Colombia and Chile.
BASC PERU was responsible for the paper entitled
"Current Scenario of Security in International Trade,"
directed by Ms. Paula López Villegas, Head of Membership and Specialized Services of BASC PERU.

Seguridad en la Cadena Internacional de Suministro”
(Supply Chain), la misma que tuvo lugar el día miércoles
09 de julio, en el campus de CENTRUM Católica.
As part of the conference scheduled for students of the
MBA Gerencial Cusco XV program, Mr. Raul Saldías,
Chairman of the Board of the WBO and President of
BASC PERU, gave a keynote speech on "Quality and
Security Management Systems in the International
Supply Chain", the same which was held on Wednesday,
July 9th, on the campus of CENTRUM Católica.

Los días 02 y 03 de octubre se llevó a cabo el VI Congreso Mundial WBO en Washington D.C., EE.UU., y tuvo
como tema principal “Business and Government
Working Together: The road to global prosperity” (Empresas y gobiernos trabajando juntos: El camino a la prosperidad mundial). Este año al VI Congreso Mundial BASC
asistieron como invitados especiales empresarios de
más de 15 países, representantes de gobierno, aduanas
y organizaciones de Estados Unidos y Latinoamérica,
siendo este encuentro una oportunidad sin igual para
que los más de 200 asistentes discutieran sobre los
desafíos del Comercio Internacional y cómo desarrollar
estrategias para su facilitación y agilización de manera
eficiente y segura. Las palabras de bienvenida estuvieron
a cargo del Presidente de BASC USA, Mr. Robert
Reneau, seguido del Sr. Fermín Cuza, Presidente Internacional de la WBO, quien expuso sobre la panorámica del
Congreso. Asimismo, el Sr. Raúl Saldías, Presidente del
Consejo Directivo de la WBO, dio a conocer el reporte de
las actividades más resaltantes de la organización.
On October 2nd to 3rd, the VI World Congress WBO was
held in Washington DC, USA, with its main theme being
"Business and Government Working Together: The road
to overall prosperity". This year at the VI World Congress
for BASC, special guest entrepreneurs from more than
15 countries as well as representatives of government,
customs and organizations in the United States and Latin
America attended. This encounter was an unparalleled
opportunity for over 200 attendees to discuss the
challenges of International Trade and how to develop
strategies for facilitating and expediting said tasks
efficiently and safely. The welcoming remarks were made
by the President of BASC USA, Mr. Robert Reneau,
followed by Mr. Fermin Cuza, International President of
the WBO, who discussed the panorama of Congress. In
addition, Mr. Raul Saldías, Chairman of the Board of the
WBO, released the report of the most outstanding activities of the organization.

described the important undertaking carried out by his
company in the supply chain of the aviation sector,
according to BASC Rules and Standards. In addition, the
Vice President of the National Fisheries Society, Director
of Pesquera Diamante SA and board member of BASC
PERU, Mr. Ricardo Bernales, was also present as a
panelist, giving relevant information about the major
threats to the supply chain in the Peruvian fishing industry. Similarly, there partners participated in the VI World

Percepción del Asociado
En el mes de noviembre del 2014 se realizó la Encuesta
Anual de Satisfacción al asociado BASC PERÚ como
parte de los Informes de Gestión correspondientes a
nuestra certificación ISO 9001: 2008. El objetivo de la
encuesta fue conocer el grado de satisfacción del
asociado respecto a los servicios brindados por BASC
PERÚ en el periodo comprendido del 01 de enero al 19
de noviembre. La muestra correspondió al 22% del total
de encuestas enviadas y resueltas por Gerentes Generales de Lima y provincias. Los aspectos evaluados fueron
el de Auditorías, Capacitación, Comunicación, Seminarios y Eventos y Reconocimiento.
De acuerdo con los resultados, el 88% de los asociados
están muy satisfechos y satisfechos con las auditorías
realizadas por BASC PERÚ. Con respecto a las capacitaciones el nivel de satisfacción fue del 87%; el mismo
resultado correspondió al nivel de satisfacción en cuanto
a eventos y seminarios, proponiendo a su vez, un gran
número de temas de interés para el próximo año. El área
de Comunicaciones obtuvo un 83% de satisfacción,
manifestando, entre otros aspectos, la utilidad de la
página web. Un aspecto nuevo que se evaluó correspondió a si el asociado estaría dispuesto a certificar a su
empresa con la norma ISO 28000 e ISO 9001 a través de
BASC PERÚ; fue muy interesante conocer que un 57%
de asociados respondan de manera positiva ya que
BASC PERÚ se encuentra en camino a convertirse en
ente certificador de sistemas de gestión ISO. En general,
el nivel de satisfacción de los servicios de BASC PERÚ
durante el año 2014 se mantuvo en un promedio del
88%.
Perception of the Associate
Companies
In November 2014, the Annual Satisfaction Survey was
conducted to BASC PERU associates as part of the
Management Report corresponding to our ISO 9001:
2008 certifications. The objective of the survey was to
determine the degree of satisfaction regarding associated services provided by BASC PERU in the period from
January 1st to November 19th. The sample corresponded to 22% of surveys sent and resolved by General
Managers from Lima and provinces. The following
aspects were evaluated: Audits, Training, Communication, Seminars, Events and Recognition.
According to the results, 88% of the members are very
satisfied and pleased with the audits by BASC PERU.
With regards to training, satisfaction levels reached 87%;
the same result corresponded to the level of satisfaction
with events and seminars, in turn proposing a large
number of topics of interest for the following year. The
Communications Area obtained satisfaction levels of
83%, stating, among other aspects, the usefulness of the
website. A new aspect to be evaluated corresponded if
the associate would be willing to certify their company
with the ISO 28000 and ISO 9001 Standard through
BASC PERU. It was very interesting to know that 57% of
partners respond positively because BASC PERU is on
track to become a certifying body of ISO management
systems. In general, the level of satisfaction with the
services of BASC PERU during 2014 remained at an
average of 88%.

Es la única publicación impresa especializada en la seguridad de la cadena de suministro, que da cuenta de las
últimas tendencias y acontecimientos de la seguridad en
la carga. Durante el año 2014 se distribuyeron alrededor
de 6000 ejemplares de manera gratuita a los asociados
BASC, funcionarios de entidades públicas, representantes de embajadas, entre otros.

which BASC operates.
It is the only print publication specializing in the supply
chain security, which accounts for the latest trends and
security events regarding cargo. Around 6000 copies
were distributed in 2014 for free to BASC members,
officials from public institutions, embassy representatives, among others.

Cada año BASC PERÚ realiza el diseño y distribución de
afiches disuasivos, los cuales tienen como objetivo
promover entre los colaboradores de las organizaciones
una cultura preventiva dada las amenazas a las que
constantemente está expuesto el comercio internacional
y, asimismo, reforzar los mensajes de prevención en
seguridad con elementos gráficos que ayuden a su
puesta en práctica.
Each year, BASC PERU carries out the design and distribution of deterrent posters, which aim to promote a
preventive culture among the staff of organizations given
the threats to which international trade is constantly
exposed as well as to reinforce prevention messages
with graphic elements that help its implementation.

Durante el año 2014 se registraron alrededor de
46,500 visitas a la página web de BASC PERÚ;
número que responde satisfactoriamente a la
restructuración de la web realizada en el año
2013 y a las constantes actualizaciones en el
2014. La encuesta de Satisfacción al Asociado
BASC 2014 nos permitió conocer que a más
del 80% de asociados le es útil el contenido de
la web. Esto nos motiva a seguir trabajando en
mejoras y en mayores herramientas que permitan satisfacer las necesidades de nuestros asociados.
During 2014 around 46,500 visits were recorded at the BASC PERU website. This number
corresponds to a satisfactory restructuring of
the webpage that was carried out in 2013 as
well as the constant updates in 2014. The
BASC Associate Satisfaction Survey 2014
allowed us to know that over 80% of partners
find the webpage's content to be useful. This
motivates us to continue working on improvements and greater tools to meet the needs of
our partners
