ICEED was created to bring together higher education
and other educational institutions from Canada, México
and the United States for purposes related to the dual
thrusts of community and economic development
through the sharing of resources, project development
and partnerships between education and industry. The
conference, themed “Going Global: World Class Post
Secondary Education for Economic Development”,
emphasizes the importance of these partnerships between
educators and the private sector as well as the vital role
global education plays in local economic development.

Ann Buller is the President and CEO of Centennial College in Toronto. Her career spans over 20 years
in the College system, where her work has demonstrated her belief that colleges must meet Canada’s
economic and social inclusion imperatives. Leadership approaches that enable major transformational
change have become President Buller’s hallmark, while her commitment to the values of a learning
centred college has transformed Centennial College.
Ann Buller assumed the presidency of Centennial College in June 2004. Under her direction,
Centennial launched its Signature Learning Experience which seeks to develop in each student and
staff member learning, teaching and working competencies that value diversity and difference, and
embrace and promote equity and inclusion.
President Buller sits on various boards and committees, including the Invest Toronto Board of Directors. This allows her to
advocate for Centennial and the college system while developing important partnerships with key decision makers and
business leaders. She has earned numerous college marketing awards and awards of excellence for student retention,
organizational development and leadership including: the College Presidents/Chancellors Award by NCSPOD (North American
Council for Staff, Program and Organizational Development); the Margot Franssen Leadership Award by Microskills Canada;
the Constance E. Hamilton Award on the Status of Women; and most recently, Ms. Buller was recognized as one of 2010
Canada’s Most Powerful Women: Top 100, and is a recipient of the Cisco Public Leaders Award.
Brad Duguid serves as Ontario’s Minister of Economic Development and Innovation, focussed on
creating jobs, promoting Ontario as a smart place to invest and growing a strong, innovative economy.
As Ontario’s Minister of Energy, Brad Duguid launched Ontario’s Long-Term Energy Plan: Building Our
Clean Energy Future – an ambitious plan that builds on Ontario’s commitment to clean energy – and
the cleaner air, jobs and economic growth associated with it.
As Minister of Aboriginal Affairs from 2008 to 2010, Duguid worked at building relationships and
launched PLAY – a program for aboriginal youth to participate in sports and activities such as hockey
and learn life skills.
Duguid has also served as Minister of Labour and Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of Municipal
Affairs and Housing. Duguid was first elected as the MPP for the riding of Scarborough Centre in 2003. Prior to that, he served
on Scarborough and Toronto City Council between 1994 and 2003.
Brad continues to live in Scarborough with his wife and two kids.

Jonathan Hack - Manager, Strategic Technology Engineering, University and Government
Relations. Bombardier Aerospace - Toronto, Canada
Jonathan Hack joined Bombardier Aerospace (BA) in 2010 after an extensive career in the automotive
industry with General Motors – both in Canada, and internationally. In his role at Bombardier,
Jonathan is responsible for innovation and patent development activities in Ontario, and the
‘strategic technology’ (R&D) portfolio of projects for Bombardier’s Toronto-based activity. Jonathan
also maintains responsibility for University / College Relations, and Government Relations for
Bombardier Aerospace in the province of Ontario.
Jonathan has been active within the Ontario Aerospace community in the formation of the
SPARKOntario aerospace research initiative which will include college and university involvement in
collaborative aviation and space research. He has also been active in the development of a strategy and initial planning for an
aerospace innovation campus at Downsview Park – in co-operation with Centennial College and the University of Toronto. The
Downsview initiative is designed to further deepen the collaborative relationship that has been forged between Centennial
College (BA’s skilled trades training strategic partner) and Bombardier Aerospace, in Ontario.
Jonathan serves on the Ontario advisory board for NSERC (Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council), the CONII PAC
(Colleges of Ontario Network for Industry Innovation – Project Approval Committee) and is active on the selection board for
Connect Canada internships. Jonathan has a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and Management from McMaster
University, (1985) an MBA from York University’s Schulich School of Business (1992), and a PMP designation.
Michael Fine - Trade Strategy, Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade,
Ottawa, Canada
Michael is currently Director General of Trade Strategy at the Department of Foreign Affairs
and International Trade in Ottawa. He recently lead, in collaboration with the Advisory Panel on
International Education, the development of Canada’s New International Education Strategy which
was released in August, 2012. He is also responsible for coordinating departmental activities to
support the accomplishment of ministerial priorities.
Previously, he was Director General of the International Trade Strategy and Portfolio Bureau. He was
responsible for enhancing the delivery of Canada`s Global Commerce Strategy, marketing Canada`s
Pacific Gateway and ensuring the integration of the initiatives of Export Development Canada and the
Canadian Commercial Corporation with those of International Trade Canada.
He was also Consul General of Canada in Denver, responsible for Canadian relations in the states of Colorado, Utah, Wyoming
and Montana, providing consular services, trade and investment promotion activities and public diplomacy on Canadian
interests. Michael is a career foreign service officer who has served in a variety of positions both in North America and abroad.
His previous foreign assignments include Sydney, Australia, Hong Kong, the Canadian Embassy in Washington, DC and
Orlando, Florida. Michael also has held a number of domestic positions including, Deputy Minister of Energy and Mines in
Manitoba and Executive Director of the Innovation Secretariat in Ottawa.
Jagdish Yadav - Senior Advisor, Education at City of Toronto, Canada
Jagdish Yadav is currently working as a Senior Advisor – Education for the City of Toronto. In this role, he is involved in
supporting and promoting Toronto’s education sector and the high quality of education it provides to students coming from
all over the world. He focuses on enhancing the economic impact of education sector in Toronto. Dr. Yadav has diverse
planning and management experience in the fields of education, research and natural resources management. Prior to joining
the City, Dr. Yadav worked for the University of Toronto as an International Research Development Business Development
Officer, where he played a key role in promoting international funding and research collaborations for the university. For several
years, he was responsible for the planning and management of large areas of natural resources in India. He holds a Ph.D. from
the University of Edinburgh and a Masters of Biotechnology from the University of Toronto and a Master of Science from
Kurukshetra University.

Paul Brennan - Vice President, International Parternships, Association of Canadian Community Colleges (ACCC),
Canada
Paul Brennan currently holds the position of Vice-President, International Partnerships, at the ACCC. The ACCC is the national
association and voice for the 140 public colleges, cégeps and institutes of technology in Canada who collectively reach 1.5
million learners per year in over 1,000 Canadian communities. He is responsible for the development and administration of all
of ACCC’s international institutional partnership programs for its members, such as the Education for Employment Programs
in Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean region, and the Asian Development Bank funded projects to help countries in Asia,
such as Vietnam and Cambodia, design and set up networks of colleges. He also leads ACCC’s initiatives to support colleges in
their international student recruitment efforts, as well as to convince and support more Canadian students to study and intern
abroad. Paul Brennan has Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees specializing in modern Asian and African history, and a Master’s
degree of Management at McGill University focusing on Leadership of National Not-for-profit Associations. He is fluent in
French (mother tongue), English, Mandarin Chinese and some Brazilian Portuguese. He has also studied, lived and worked in
China, Indonesia and Zimbabwe during his career.
Ing. Hector Arreola Soria - National Coordinator of Technical Universities (Coordinacion General de Universidades
Tecnologicas - CGUT), Mexico
Es Ingeniero Industrial por el Instituto Tecnológico de Durango y realizó estudios de postgrado en el área de Planificación
Educativa en el Instituto Politécnico Nacional; así como de Administración Pública en la Universidad del Valle de México.
Cuenta con una trayectoria en la administración Pública de más de 30 años. Ha ocupado muy diversos cargos entre los
que destacan los de Director General de Educación Superior Tecnológica, Secretario de Educación del Gobierno del Estado
de Durango, Coordinador de la Dirección General de Educación Tecnológica Industrial en el estado de Durango; habiendo
desempeñado igualmente las Subdirecciones de Extensión Educativa y de Operación Institucional en la Dirección General de
Institutos Tecnológicos.
Por otra parte ha sido director de diversas casas de estudios superiores, entre otras; el Instituto Tecnológico de Durango en
dos ocasiones; el Instituto Tecnológico Descentralizado de Lerdo, Durango, del cual fue fundador; y el Instituto Tecnológico de
Ciudad Victoria, Tamaulipas.
Actualmente se desempeña como Coordinador General de Universidades Tecnológicas en donde ha impulsado el programa de
continuidad hacia las ingenierías y fomentado la internacionalización de estas casas de estudio.
Dr. Gustavo Flores Hernandez - International Director of Global Affairs, General Coordination of Technical
Universities (Coordinacion General de Universidades Tecnologicas – CGUT), Mexico
Es Doctor en Filosofía (Ph.D.) en Ingeniería Química con especialidad en procesos de separación por la Universidad de
Cambridge, Inglaterra, y Doctor en Estudios Sociales en el campo de educación y mercado laboral por la Universidad
Autónoma Metropolitana, México.
Se ha desempeñado por más de 30 años en el sector educativo. Ha fungido como directivo y profesor-investigador en el
Sistema Nacional de Institutos Tecnológicos, en donde impulsó su reforma educativa de 1993. Ha sido también director de
diseño curricular en el Colegio Nacional de Educación Profesional Técnica (CONALEP) en donde indujo las formaciones en
carreras de profesional técnico – bachiller de Educación Media Superior, para que los egresados se empleen en la industria
o continúen estudios de nivel superior. Es miembro par en ingeniería de los Comités Interinstitucionales de Evaluación de la
Educación Superior Ingeniería (CIEES) y miembro del Comité Asesor del Consejo para la Acreditación de la Educación Superior
(COPAES). En el sector privado ha sido consultor industrial en los campos de auditoría, optimización y mejora tecnológica
de procesos, y desarrollo de proyectos de inversión. Desde febrero de 2009 es Director de Vinculación y Cooperación en la
Coordinación General de Universidades Tecnológicas, en donde ha fortalecido los programas de vinculación con la industria,
los programas de emprendedores e incubación de empresas, así como la internacionalización de las instituciones.

Mstro. Wilfrido Perea Curiel - Director General of the National Colleges of Professional Technical Education
(Colegio Nacional de Educación Profesional Técnica - CONALEP), México
Bachelor in Sociology (BA), Master in Sociology (MA) and Doctoral Candidate in Sociology (Ph. D. in Sociology) by the
National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM, for its acronym in Spanish). Specialized in Public Management for Social
Development at the University of Alcala de Henares in Madrid, Spain. Has taught at several institutions including the National
Autonomous University of Mexico, the College for Journalism and Art in Broadcasting (CEU-PART, for its acronym in Spanish),
the Anahuac University and Intercontinental University.
In Public Administration, has been Chief of Staff of the Secretary of Labor and Social Welfare, Advisor to the Office of
the Territorial Regularization at the Federal District Department in Mexico City, Advisor to the Office for Prevention and
Rehabilitation of the Ministry of Interior and Advisor to the Center for Governmental Studies of the State of Oaxaca, Mexico.
He has collaborated as a consultant at several Civil Associations including the Interdisciplinary Center for Social Research (CISI
in Spanish) and Deputy Director of Political Analysis at Consulting firm “Politics Strategy and Planning”. He has developed
several research projects in Sociology and Politics, participated as lecturer in several conferences and is the author of two
books about extreme poverty.
Since December 2006, Wilfrido has been Director General of the National College of Professional and Technical Education
(CONALEP, in Spanish) and President of the International Consortium for Educational and Economic Development.
Leslie Angelina Hendricks Rubio - Rector of the Technical University of Cancun, Mexico
Leslie Hendricks Rubio was born in Mexico City on May 24th, 1978; she graduated with honors from
Law School in 2001 and got her Masters in Corporate Law from Universidad del Mayab and also an
International Masters in Intellectual and Industrial Property and Information Society Law from the
University of Alicante in Spain. Leslie speaks both English and French and while attending school, she
worked at the Legal Department of the Mexican Presidential Guard (Estado Mayor Presidencial) as well
as at the Law Offices of Dumont, Bergman & Bider S. C. and Bufete Corporativo, S. C. Between 2003
and 2005, she took over the position as President of the Board of Family Services (DIF) in the State of
Quintana Roo and was also a founding member of Alhen Law Offices and is currently the Rector at
the Technological University in Cancun, which made her the first woman in the state to hold such a
position. During the prior year she practiced law as counsel for the university.
Francisco Javier Suárez Orozco - Manager of International Operations, JW Marriot Hotel,
Cancun, Mexico
Francisco has a BS in Tourism Business Administration. He is Certified as a Quality Mark Auditor
for Touristic Services by SECTUR; he is Certified in The New Teaching Profile by ITESM. He has a
Labor Certification of Standardization in Preparation, Facilitation and Evaluation of Training Courses
Accredited by the National Council CONOCER and AICON International Consulting. With 15 years
experience in hotel operations, Francisco has been manager for six hotel departments, such as Groups
& Conventions or Rooms Division, in world class hotel brands such as Marriott and Starwood.
Performance Improvement leader with five years as a Director of Training and Quality, he has certified
experience and demonstrated success in facilitating, Implementing, sustaining and supporting change initiatives that drives
service performance improvement, business leadership and branding. Francisco is part of the “International Management
Training Network” of Marriott International, Hotel Coach for the Franklin Covey’s “Breakthrough Leadership Program”,
part of the Council Member Liaison and Relevance for the Cancun Technological University, member of the Committee of
Experts in Tourism and Gastronomy for the Anahuac Cancun University, and member of the Human Resource professionals
Cancun Association.

Alessandro Anzalone, Ph.D. - Instructor and Program Manager, Engineering Technology, Hillsborough Community
College, USA
Dr. Anzalone earned a B.S. in chemical engineering from Universidad Nacional Experimental Politécnica in Venezuela, an
M.S. in chemical engineering from Polytechnic Institute of New York University, and a Ph.D. in chemical engineering from the
University of South Florida. He also performed postdoctoral research at USF in materials and biomaterials. With more than 17
years of experience in teaching and administration in higher education at four different institutions, Dr. Anzalone has taught
over 36 different courses at the associate, bachelor, and master levels.

College. He oversees the Associated Student Organization (ASO), Counseling Office, DSP&S Office,
Financial Aid Office, International Student Center, Transfer Center and the Puente Program. Mr.
Dorado started his career in the professional field of Student Services as an Admissions Counselor for
Cal Poly Pomona. From there he became the Outreach Coordinator at Santa Ana College where he
was promoted to Associate D,ean. After a few years of service at Santa Ana College, Mr. Dorado went
to Los Angeles Trade-Technical. Mr. Dorado has more than 15 years experience in Higher Education.
In addition to his professional responsibilities, Mr. Dorado is currently in his second year of the
Educational Leadership Doctorate program at the University of Southern California. Mr. Dorado is also very proud of his four
years of service in the United States Marine Corps, where he earned the rank of Sergeant.
Loy Nashua - Assistant Dean, Santa Ana College, USA
Loy Nashua is an Associate Dean, Student Development, in the Office of Student Life at Santa Ana College. He oversees
Student Conduct, Student Activities, Service Learning, International Student Program, Summer Scholars Transfer Institute,
Commencement and the Veterans Resource Center. Prior to his appointment at Santa Ana College, Mr. Nashua served as
an Assistant Dean of Students at Pitzer College in Claremont, California. He was also an operational supervisor, a training
supervisor and a Human Resources supervisor for United Parcel Service. Following the successful completion of his general
education at Mt. San Antonio College, Mr. Nashua earned his Bachelor’s degree in Art, with a minor in Sociology, from
Whittier College, a Master’s degree from Claremont Graduate University, and a Juris Doctorate from the La Verne College of
Law. Mr. Nashua has served 16 plus years in the field of higher education.
Virginia Macchiavello - Director, International Education, Centennial College, Toronto, Canada
Virginia Macchiavello, Director of International Education, Centennial College of Applied Arts and
Technology, Toronto, Ontario, Canada, MIB, University of Panama, International Trade Management
PG Certificate, SCC; BED Education with specialization in Special Education, Brock University, Niagara
Falls, ON; BA, English, University of Windsor; Master’s courses in College Administration, Central
Michigan University, Mt. Pleasant, Michigan, U.S.A. Virginia was the former President of ICEED
(International Consortium of Economic and Education Development - Canada, U.S. and Mexico) and
current Board of Directors member. She sits on the Board of TISANE. Both organizations promote
international partnerships for economic development. She has held positions of Professor, Director of
Continuing Education, Chair of Applied Arts and Human Services, Director, International Development,
Director of Innovation and Business Development. The Panama Training Center designed and implemented by Virginia has
won international awards in the United States and Canada. She has negotiated international corporate training projects and
articulations with China, Colombia, India, Panama, Mexico and the United States. She has been instrumental in providing
work and study abroad opportunities for Canadian students and staff in Mexico, China, United States and Latin America. The
importance of educating internationalists and global citizens is a theme and passion that Virginia has been invited to speak at
conferences around the world.

Michael Vourakes - Dean of Business, Centennial College, Toronto, Canada
Michael Vourakes was born in Leamington, Ontario and has a Master’s Degree in Business
Administration (MBA) from Wayne State University and an Honours Degree in Commerce (B.Comm.)
from the University of Windsor.
Michael is currently Dean, Business and Management Studies at the Centennial College School of
Business. In this position, he provides academic, administrative and fiscal leadership to faculty involved
in the development and delivery of a related cluster of programs offered by the School of Business.
He also ensures that the objectives of the program are attained through effective supervision of
the teaching and learning processes including the provision of appropriate learning resources and
maintenance of close contacts with business/industry and Advisory Committees.
From 1998 to 2005, Michael worked at St. Clair College where he started as Chair, Hospitality and Tourism, then advanced
to Dean, Business and Technology and was later promoted to the senior management team as Vice President, Innovation
and Business Development. In 2004, Michael was appointed Vice President, Academic reporting to the President where his
responsibilities included: developing, implementing and monitoring the College’s strategic plan; overseeing the 80 full time
programs and new program development contributing to the College’s continued growth, student/employer satisfaction and
financial viability. Michael was responsible for a budget in excess of $30 million, and a sector consisting of over 400 faculty,
support staff and administrators. He was accountable for ensuring that the College maintained high visibility and involvement
in the local community.
Melida Renkwitz - Manager, Latin America, Centennial College, Toronto, Canada
Melida Renkwitz is Recruitment Manager for Latin-America, Spain, Italy, Portugal and the USA, at Centennial College in
Toronto, Ontario. She has been an International Liaison Officer for more than 12 years. Melida received training to be a
Liaison Officer - Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade OEA Thirtieth Regular Session, Cultural Commissioner
for the Mexican Centre of Michigan nominated by the Mexican Consulate in Detroit, Michigan, USA, Member International
Consortium of Educational and Economic Development (ICEED), Pan-American Association of Educational Credit. (APICE),
Secretary of the Hispano-Canadian Association of Professors (HCAP).
Melida holds a B. Ed from the University of Veracruz, Mexico, English as a Second Language from the University of Morelos
State, Master in Spanish Culture and Languages from the University of Salamanca, Spain and Specialization in Adult Education
from Brock University, Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada.
Greg Long - International Digital Media Recruitment Officer, Centennial College, Toronto, Canada
Greg Long is the Digital Media Recruitment Officer at the Centennial College International Education
Centre. Greg facilitated Centennial’s first live and interactive virtual college fair, making Centennial the
first College or University in Canada to plug into the virtual recruitment fair circuit. He speaks from
experience facilitating live video chat and live text chats at 10 Virtual college fairs since the pilot, as well
as building and continuing to grow and engage social media communities that support international
student recruitment and retention including; International Centre and Vietnamese Student Community at
Centennial College on Facebook, and the Centennial College Community on (VK). His understanding of
international student markets is highlighted by his four most popular articles in the StudyinCanada.com online Newsletter and
social and digital media recruitment strategies are informed by his B.A in Media Informational and Techno-culture.

Alla Nowowiejski - Attorney at Law, Immigration Division, Monty & Ramirez LLP, USA
Alla K. Nowowiejski is an Associate at Monty & Ramirez, focusing primarily in the area of U.S. immigration and nationality
law. She focuses her practice on counseling and assisting domestic and foreign businesses and investors in obtaining businessrelated visas for their workers, while complying with applicable regulations. Additionally, she assists investors and start-up
businesses with the formation of their companies to ensure federal and state regulatory compliance and advises them on
corporate governance issues. She also has experience in naturalization, permanent residency, family-based immigration
matters, family law and estate planning. Prior to becoming an immigration attorney, Alla clerked for the Immigration Practice
Group of a top multinational law firm working on a variety of employment and family-based immigration matters.
Wayne Myles - Director, Queen’s University International Centre, Queen’s University, Kingston, Canada
Wayne was appointed Director of Queen’s University International Centre (QUIC) at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario
in 1982. Wayne is a graduate of Queen’s University with a BA (Hon English/History), a Bachelor’s of Education, and an M.Pl.
(Urban and Regional Planning). His work and studies have taken him for extended periods to Japan, England, Zambia, and
Indonesia. Since 1994, Wayne has researched and published in the area of risk management for international education
activities, including his publication with Lynne Mitchell, Risk Sense: Developing and Managing International Education
Activities with Risk in Mind. (University of Guelph, 2009). Wayne has also taken a lead in the area of professional development
for international educators by developing the International Educators Training Program (IETP). Most recently Wayne has been
involved in developing the capacity of QUIC to deliver intercultural communication and training programs at Queen’s.
Pamela Barrett - Director of Client Services North America at i-graduate, Associate at KPMG,
Director at Barton Carlyle Ltd., USA
Pamela Barrett is an international education consultant, and Director Client Relations North America
for the International Graduate Insight Group. As such, she works with universities and colleges
throughout North America on the internationally renowned ISB (International Student Barometer)
service. Until recently, Barrett managed the Higher Education Advisory practice at KPMG, a “Big
Four” global audit and advisory firm, where she remains an Associate. As former Education Attaché
at the British Embassy in Washington DC, Pamela was responsible for the transatlantic relationship in
education, working with U.S. universities, colleges, and professional organizations, and was Director
Education for the British Council in Malaysia. She has more than 25 years of experience in international recruitment and
marketing, international student services, international fundraising, alumni, and study abroad. Pamela was the associate dean
at Allegheny College in Pennsylvania where she directed international student services, study abroad and exchanges, and
set up an international student recruitment program. She established the first USA Year Abroad programs at the University
of Sheffield and was the first assistant dean at Regent’s College in London. She has also worked extensively in international
education matters in Southeast Asia and on global education projects and training in the Middle East and Europe. She holds a
Bachelor’s degree from the University of London, an MBA, and a Master’s degree from the University of Southern California.

Yasmin Razack - Manager of Global Citizenship and Equity Education, Centennial College,
Canada
Yasmin Razack is the Manager of Global Citizenship and Equity Education at Centennial College.
Her role is to work with a team to integrate Global Citizenship and Equity (GCE) learning outcomes
across the curriculum in addition to developing (GCE) initiatives for the staff and student community.
Yasmin has worked at several other post-secondary institutions including University of Toronto, Seneca
College and York University. Yasmin was also the Program Director for the Harmony Movement, a
non-profit organization that works to develop youth as active agents for positive social change. Most
recently she founded her own business named Limitless Women, where she works with women of
diverse backgrounds to unlock their limitless potential in all aspects of life through coaching. She has
a wide range of knowledge in the area of global citizenship and equity and has a Master’s of Education from York University in
addition to a Professional and Personal Life Coaching Certificate from Concordia University.
Yana Avdyeyeva - International Mobility Advisor, Centennial College, Canada
Yana Avdyeyeva joined Centennial College in 2012 to coordinate international mobility initiatives. Prior to Centennial, she was
based in Berlin, Germany working for Transparency International coordinating education governance programs in Sub-Saharan
Africa and the Middle East. From 2007 to 2011, Yana worked in the International Programs department of the Council of
Ministers of Education, Canada (CMEC) providing support to Canadian education authorities in their engagement in the
education work of international multilateral organizations such as UNESCO, OECD, APEC, the Commonwealth and others. She
was part of several working groups to support the development and roll out of the Canadian education brand Imagine au/in
Canada. During her time at the Institute of International Education (IIE) European office in Budapest, Hungary, Yana supported
a wide range of international education and training programs including the European Fulbright Scholarship.
Nadia D’Lima - Manager, International Student Services, International Education Centre, Centennial College, Canada
Nadia D’Lima started her career at Centennial College as the International Peer Ambassador Coordinator in 2008. She has
since served international students in many roles including Work Permit Specialist and as an International Student Advisor.
She currently holds the position of Manager of International Student Services at the college and is spearheading several new
initiatives aimed at improving the overall experience of international students. Nadia has also contributed to the development
of the Global Experience Office at Centennial College. In March 2010, she co-led a group of domestic students on an
expedition to the Amazon in Peru where students had an opportunity to assist in a community based biological research
program. Nadia is one of the founding members of the International Network of Tomorrow’s Leaders (INTL) a professional
network of aspiring leaders in the field of international education in Canada. INTL is launching their national mentorship
program at this year’s CBIE annual conference in Montreal.
