St. Louis de Monƞort Mission Statement
We are called to be and to become a loving family centered in Jesus.
We acknowledge and accept that each of us is unique and
has special giŌs from the Holy Spirit.
We wish to nurture, develop and share these giŌs within and
for the Body of Christ.
Having been called by BapƟsm into that Body,
We celebrate our relaƟonship in Word, Sacrament and Family CelebraƟon.
We are then sent to call others to Christ
through whom we are and what we do.
We recognize Christ’s call to be one in Him and commit ourselves to his way of life.

THANK YOU
Words can’t convey the senƟments and appreciaƟon
I felt on Sunday. The commiƩee that organized this
event was able to accomplish so much (because I
wasn’t here to interfere!), and indeed everyone who
came will be in my prayers. To you who wrote cards
and sent giŌs, I wish I had the Ɵme to thank you all
personally (but I simply have been thrust into finding
a new course to go on!! ) I sƟll hope to find something here in So.Cal so that I can return once a
month. It is all up in the air as I type this!!!
Please know my words of appreciaƟon at the end of
Mass, and in the hall ,were from the heart, and I am
truly indebted to you and all of our parishioners. You
are so generous, you are what makes this parish the
best!!
God bless you, Fr. Charles, CJ

DID YOU KNOW?
Pool safety is about more than swimming
Swimming is a fun way to have some fun and beat
the heat during the summer. Parents should teach
their children about swimming safety, including
how to identify and handle uncomfortable situations. Although you may be watching closely to
make sure your kids are safe in the water, don’t
forget about when they’re walking around, sitting
out by the pool, using the restrooms or out of sight.
Teach your children what to do when they feel uncomfortable at the pool, and let them know it is
okay to walk away and find a parent or trusted
adult at any time. For more information and a copy
of the article called “Know the Rules…Summer
Safety Tips to Teach Children” from the National
Center for Missing and Exploited, email: [email protected]

artículo completo del National Center for Missing and
Exploited Children, escriba a: [email protected]
