returning to the Church. Catholics Can Come Home
is an outreach to those who might have drifted away from
regular participation in our church. The program allows
people to take another look. If you are considering
returning to the Catholic Church, we invite you to take

Doing spring cleaning? Ascension is looking for donations of items for This-n-That
Sale on April 18. Gently used
items such as jewelry, shoes,
purses, books, clothing, toys
and household items are
welcome. Please bring items
to the Parish Office; call Aurora at 612 424-6200 for
more information. We can provide a tax receipt.
Plan to attend the sale on Saturday, April 18. It will be one
day only in the cafeteria from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Homemade
tacos will be for sale along with beverages.
You never know what you might find!

A few more volunteers needed
for Children’s Church
We are still in need of a few more adults to volunteer in
leading our Children’s Church program on Sunday
mornings. The ministry involves sharing the gospel story with
our little ones in a way that will be meaningful to them by
leading a short prayer, singing a song with them, reading a
bible story and doing other age-appropriate activities. We
have materials to use for the teaching time, about a half
hour at the beginning of 9:30 a.m. mass. We hope to be
able to create a rotation so each volunteer would lead
once a month, with another adult there to assist.
Please consider sharing your gifts with our young children.
You will likely find it very rewarding. Call Cindy Boggs at the

If you would like to have a weekday mass offered for or
