The OXYGEN Aerolyte reduces the risk of infection for
patients by removing the wearer's used air up and away
from the helmet interior through the filter material of
the OXYGEN Sterile Lens Hood. This prevents particles,
bacteria and viruses from entering the air circulation in
the operating room. The OXYGEN Aerolyte guarantees
the highest wearing comfort to the surgical team.

We had two goals in mind when we were developing
the OXYGEN prevention system: maximum protection
against infection and optimal comfort. This system is
based on the only patented two-fan technology for
removing used air in the world.
What set this system apart are its two quiet fans that
provide a fresh air supply and remove the used air. The
system reduces CO2 level inside the helmet by half
when compared to similar products on the market,
thus taking the CO2 level well below that which can
lead to health problems. The fans have four speed
settings for the wearer to adjust the amount of air
required at any time.
The OXYGEN Aerolyte with LED-light has a light source
positioned so that the light beam is aligned with the
wearer's current line of vision. The OXYGEN Aerolyte
with LED-light ensures that the operating field is
optimally illuminated both for minimally invasive and
more extensive surgical procedures.
The perfectly balanced helmet and head belt are
unmatched in their comfort. The patented head belt,
which can be adjusted with just one hand, ensures that
the OXYGEN Aerolyte Helmet is not only secured
around the forehead but is also fastened around the
upper head.
Both the fans and the LED light in the OXYGEN
Aerolyte are powered by a single pocket-sized battery
unit, eliminating the need for the wearer to be hooked
up to wires. The extremely lightweight battery unit can
be worn comfortably on the wearer’s belt or in a
pocket of the surgical gown and, when fully charged,
will run for up to 8 hours. A warning will sound before
the battery is fully discharged and the battery can be
replaced without interrupting the surgical procedure.
A charging station can charge and store up to four
battery packs. Green, yellow and red lights on the
charger indicate the charging status of each battery
unit.
The large visor of the sterile OXYGEN lens hood is
made of impact-resistant polycarbonate and will not
reflect light or fog up. The front is made of highly
hydrophobic material to protect against infectious
fluids and is ultrasonically welded to the special filter
material on the back side of the hood. This special
production process prevents contaminated fluids from
penetrating the hood seams.

El diseño ergonómico del casco y la banda para la
cabeza (ajustable con una mano) son las características
que garantizan la comodidad del producto. La banda
para cabeza procura la estabilidad del producto, no
sólo mediante su fijación alrededor de la frente, sino
también por el uso de una viga transversal ubicada
encima de la parte alta de la cabeza.
Ambos, ventiladores y fuentes de luz del Casco
OXYGEN se accionan con una sola unidad de batería
de bolsillo, no necesitan ninguna fuente de energía
adicional. La luz, cuya bateria de bolsillo puede ser
adherida a un cinturón o se puede tener en la bolsa de
la bata quirúrgica, asegura hasta ocho horas de funcionamiento continuo. Una señal acústica avisará que la
bateria no tiene carga.
El reemplazo de la batería no requiere la interrupción
de la operación o intervento. El cargador de las
baterías tiene capacidad para cuatro unidades. El
sistema de luz incorporado ayuda a precisar el estado
de las baterias.
La visera ancha del lente estéril OXIGEN está hecha de
policarbonato reforzado, es anti-reflejos y a prueba de
condensación. La parte frontal, hecha de un material
altamente hidrófobo, garantiza una altísima protección contra fluidos infecciosos y la parte posterior,
soldada con ultrasonidos (proceso relativamente
nuevo) previene la penetración de fluidos contaminados en las zonas de sutura.

The SPS Head belt with the sterile visor is best suited for protecting patients
from contamination by the medical team. The special shape and positioning of
the visor ensure that skin particles, hair or sweat cannot get into the open
wound. The sterile visor also guarantees that any body fluids that go back into
the wound area after they have come into contact with the visor are not
contaminated by non-sterile protective clothing, such as mouth guards or
protective glasses.
The SPS Head belt is made of a very light material and can be adjusted, with one
hand using just a thumb wheel, to the individual’s head size and shape. In
addition, foam elements are located on the inside of the head belt which further
increase comfort. The protective visor is easy to attach and just as easy to
remove again with Velcro ensuring that a visor can be changed quickly and
easily during ongoing treatment.

El SPS Head belt con visera protectora estéril es especialmente adecuado para
proteger a los pacientes de contaminaciones por parte del equipo encargado
del tratamiento. La forma y posición especiales de la visera protectora evitan
que ninguna partícula de la piel, pelo o sudor pueda llegar a la herida abierta.
Asimismo, la visera protectora garantiza que los fluidos corporales que vuelvan
a alcanzar la zona de la herida tras haber estado en contacto con la visera no
puedan contaminarse con los equipos de protección no estériles como mascarillas o gafas protectoras.
El SPS Head belt está fabricado en un material muy ligero y una rueda de ajuste
permite adaptarlo al tamaño y forma de la cabeza con una sola mano. Además,
el interior del Head belt se ha equipado con elementos de goma que aumentan
aún más el confort. Gracias a las tiras de velcro, la visera protectora se pone y
quita muy fácilmente, lo que permite cambiarla de forma rápida y sencilla
durante un tratamiento en curso.

light source with an output of 3 watts, 146 lumens and
a color temperature of 6,000 K, which ensures that
fiber structures and fabric colors are clear. The light
source is powered by a pocket-size battery, thus ensuring that the wearer has complete freedom of movement. The light source is adjustable so that the focused
light beam hits wherever the wearer wants. The combination of the selected lighting technology with the
rechargeable lithium-ion battery provides a battery life
of at least 14 hours.
