Due to the diversity of events available in town, meetings were
held locally to set up the ENTRETUR as the city’s Tourist Bureau
which name will be ENTRETUR Bureau Turístico.
The organisation already exists, as the ENTRETUR has been running in town since the end of 2004 as a mix entity for comprehensive and competitive Tourism Promotion. It was only necessary
to introduce a minor change with the name of Bureau.
It is made up of the Municipality of Trelew, the City Council, the
Hotel and Gastronomy Association and the Eastern Chamber of
Commerce of Chubut.
The Bureau’s objective is to design and execute programmes to
promote Trelew as a venue for fairs, congresses and events and
so cooperate towards the economic, social and cultural development of the city and the region.
Under this profile, the ENTRETUR Bureau Turístico will be the
facilitator to organise events and will act as the organiser’s
strategic ally.
It will also do joint work with the secretariats.
