Annual Pesticide Use Notification
The office of the Kern County Superintendent of Schools has implemented an integrated pest management
(IPM) program designed to effectively control pests using a combination of techniques. Pesticides that pose
the least possible hazard and are effective in a manner that minimizes risks to people, property, and the
environment will be used according to established regulations and treatment thresholds.
Pursuant to the Healthy Schools Act of 2007, this office is required to notify taff, parents, and guardians of the
name of all pesticide products scheduled to be applied at the school facility during the upcoming year.

A year-round schedule of pesticide application dates has been given to the teacher and is to be posted in the
classroom. If you wish to receive separate notification 24 hours in advance of individual pesticide
applications at your student’s school facility, please complete the registration form below and return it to your
student’s teacher within 60 days from date of letter.
Additional pesticide information may be obtained from the California Department of Pesticide Regulation at
www.cdpr.ca.gov.

La oficina de la Superintendencia de Escuelas del Condado de Kern ha implementado un programa de administración
integral de animals domésticos nocivos diseñado para efectivamente controlar los insectos usando una combinación de
técnicas. Pesticidas que representan el menos riesgo posible y son efectivos de una manera que minimice los riesgos a
la gente, propiedad, y se usará el medio ambiente de acuerdo a las regulaciones estabilizadas y límites del tratamiento.
De conformidad con el Acto de Escuelas Saludables del 2007, require que esta oficina notifique al personal, padres, y
tutores legales los nombres de todas los productos pesticidas programados a ser aplicados en el complejo escolar
durante el próximo año.

ser anunciado en la pared del aula. Si usted desea recibir una notificación separada 24 horas antes de las aplicaciones
individuales de los pesticidas en los complejos escolares de su estudiante, favor de completer el formulario de inscripción
que esta abajo y regrésela al/la maestro/a de su estudiante dentro de 60 días de la fecha de carta.
