Inscripción:
La inscripción debe hacerse simultáneamente con el pago
de los derechos por importe de 80 € y no se devuelven en
ningún caso salvo cancelación del curso. La inscripción, que
será descontada del precio total del curso, se hará mediante transferencia o ingreso bancario, libre de cargos, a la cuenta n.º 2048.0163.340340004065 de CajAstur, o mediante
giro postal.
No se admiten cheques.
Matrícula:
La formalización de la matrícula se realizará en la secretaría del curso el primer día del curso, haciendo efectivo el

Disposiciones generales:
En aquellos instrumentos donde el número de solicitudes sobrepasen al de plazas disponibles se hará una selección para decidir su admisión como alumnos activos. Los estudiantes que no
sean admitidos como activos con un determinado profesor se les
ofrecerá la posibilidad de otro profesor de similar nivel en aquellos instrumentos en que se ofertan dos o más profesores, o permanecerán en el curso como oyentes. En este caso, la diferencia
entre el precio de activo y oyente será devuelto.
Los alumnos activos pueden asistir como oyentes a las clases de
los demás profesores sin ningún costo extra.
Todos los alumnos pueden usar libremente clases y pianos disponibles desde 9 a.m. hasta 9 p.m.
Al final del curso los estudiantes recibirán un diploma.

Música de Cámara:
Cuando un grupo de alumnos desee formar un trío, cuarteto de cuerda o con piano, o conjunto mixto de cuerda y viento se les ofrecerá profesor.
Se deberán traer partituras.
En el caso de trios con clarinete, ya formados, los profesores Karl Leister y/o Wolfgang Boettcher trabajarán el siguiente repertorio:

Las clases tendrán lugar en la Escuela Municipal de Música
de Oviedo (c/ Rosal, nº 7) y en el Auditorio “Principe Felipe”
(plaza de la Gesta s/n)
Alojamiento:
La organización ofrece alojar a los alumnos de acuerdo a
sus peticiones a elegir entre 2 opciones:
A)
Apartamentos o estudios compartidos por dos, tres, cuatro
y hasta cinco personas. Los precios varian entre 18 y 25
euros por persona/día. El número de plazas es limitado, y
se respetará el orden de petición.
El alojamiento se abonará por el periodo completo del curso
al que se hayan inscrito.
B)
Residencia Universitaria «María Inmaculada»
c/ San Vicente, n.º 2, situado en la parte antigua de la ciudad, al lado
del Conservatorio de Música, ofrece habitaciones individuales con
desayuno por 27 euros/dia, exclusivamente para chicas.

Payment:
The course fees must be paid in the secretary office the first

General regulation. Whenever required the students will be submitted to a selection in order to decide his/her admittance as
active participant. Students who are not admitted as active
participant with a particular professor will be offered another professor of similar calibur, or to join the course as auditor. In this case, the difference between the tuition fee for
active and auditor participation will be reimbursed.
Active students can attend all other courses as auditors at no
extra charge.
Enrolled participants are entitled to use of all studying rooms

and pianos from 9 a.m. till 9 p.m.
At the conclusion of every course, students will receive a
diploma.
Chamber music:
In the case of a group of students who wishes to form a trio,
string quartet or quintet, piano emsemble, or a mixed wind
and string ensemble they will receive chamber music coaching. In this case, the students should bring the music that
they would like to prepare.
Professors Karl Leister and/or Wolfgang Boettcher will prepare clarinet trios with the following repertoire:

The organisers undertake to find accommodation as closely
as possible to the requests of the participants.
Accommodation is available at two different choices:

Curso de Piano
GALINA EGYAZAROVA
Nació en Bakú, república de Azerbaiyan.
La vida profesional de Galina Egyazarova ha
estado ligada, desde sus inicios al Conservatorio
Tchaikovsky de Moscú, donde enseñó –tras
haber finalizado sus estudios con el legendario maestro Alexander Godenweiser– desde
1960.
En 1963, después de haber obtenido el Doctorado, decide dedicar toda
su actividad a la enseñanza, llegando a ser una de las profesoras más
prestigiosas del Conservatorio Tchaikovsky de
Moscú.
Entre sus alumnos más célebres caben destacar los famosos pianistas
Radu Lupu y Arcady Volodos, quienes, durante varios años, cursaron
estudios bajo su dirección.
También han salido de su clase brillantes pianistas y músicos que, actualmente, desarrollan una gran labor concertista y pedagógica, ocupan importantes puestos en diferentes conservatorios y filarmonías del mundo
(Rusia, Estados Unidos, Alemania, Grecia, España, Francia…). Algunos
de ellos son ganadores de concursos nacionales e internacionales.
En el año 1991 el Ministerio de Cultura de Rusia le otorgó el Grado
Superior por su actividad en el ámbito pedagógico.
Desde el año 1993 es profesora de la cátedra de piano de la Escuela
Superior de Música Reina Sofía de Madrid.
She was borned in Bakú (Azerbaijan).
Galina Egyazarova studied piano under the Professor Alexander
Goldenweiser at the Tchaikovsky Conservatoire in Moscow, where she
completed her Master Diploma in 1960. She became a Professor at the
Tchaikovsky Conservatoire in 1963 and taught there for many years.
Many of her pupils are important concertists and professors in several
countries (Russia, USA, Germany, Greece, Spain, France…) and winners of National and International Competitions. Her most distinguished pupils included Radu Lupu or Arcady Volodos.
In 1991 Galina Egyazarova was presented with an award by the Ministry
of Culture of Russia for her remarkable contribution to the teaching profession.
She has been a teacher at the Higher School of Music “Reina
Sofía” in Madrid since 1993.

Violin Courses
YOSSI ZIVONI
Nació en Tel-Aviv en 1939. Se graduó en la
Academia de Musica de su ciudad natal y posteriormente en el Conservatorio de Bruselas con
el profesor André Gertler. Debutó en concierto
en 1964 en Amsterdam, tras haber sido laureado en diferentes competiciones internacionales:
concurso Paganini de Génova, el de la Radio de
Baviera de Munich, el Reina Elisabeth de Bruselas.
Desde entonces ha hecho giras por Europa,
Canadá, Australia, Israel, Venezuela y el Extremo
Oriente, y toca conciertos con importantes orquestas: Concertgebouw de Amsterdam, RIAS de Berlín, Royal Philharmonic
y BBC de Londres, y con directores tales como Christoph von Donanyi,
Kurt Sanderling, Erich Leinsdorf. Con un vasto repertorio, desde el barroco hasta la música contemporánea, Yossi Zivoni es un promotor de la música actual y ha sido intérprete de numerosas premieres mundiales, algunas
de cuyas obras dedicadas a él. Algunas de sus más recientes grabaciones
(para el sello Meridian) incluyen sonatas y partitas de violín sólo de Bach,
sonatas de Mendelssohn y Mozart, sonata de violín sólo de Bartok. Además
de sus apariciones en conciertos, Yossi Zivoni reparte su tiempo dando masterclasses en Gran Bretaña, USA, Bélgica, Venezuela y Singapur. De 1996
hasta 2001 fue 1.er violin del Cuarteto Gabrieli, fundando después el Cuarteto
Zivoni.
Yossi Zivoni es profesor de violín del Royal College of Music de Londres.
Born in 1939. Graduated from the Music Academy of his native Tel-Aviv then
graduated from the Royal Conservatory of Music in Brussels with professor
André Gertler. Yossi Zivoni's concert debut was in Amsterdam in 1964, having
already been competition laureate of the Paganini International at Genova,
Bavarian Radio International at Munich, and the Queen Elisabeth International
at Brussels. Since then, he has toured extensively throughout Europe, Canada,
Australia, Israel, Venezuela and the Far East, and played concertos with leading orchestras (including Amsterdam Royal Concertgebouw, RIAS Berlin,
Royal Philharmonic, BBC Symphony) with some of their distinguished conductors, including Christoph von Dohnanyi, Kurt Sanderling, Erich Leinsdorf.
With a repertoire ranging from Baroque to contemporary, Yossi Zivoni is a
recognised champion of new music and has given the world-premiere of numerous works, several of which are dedicated to him. Recent recordings (for the
Meridian label) include CDs of Bach’s unaccompanied sonatas and partitas,
the Mendelssohn sonatas, Mozart sonatas and Bartok’s solo sonata. In addition to his concert appearances, Yossi Zivoni has given masterclasses in Britain,
USA, Belgium, Venezuela and Singapore. From 1996 to 2001 he led the Gabrieli
string quartet, then formed the Zivoni quartet.
Yossi Zivoni is professor of violin at the Royal College of Music in London.

ULF HOELSCHER
Recibió sus primeras lecciones de violín de
su padre Ferdinand Hoelscher y de Bruno
Masurat. A los 15 años se trasladó a Colonia
a estudiar durante 5 años con Max Rostal.
Tiempo después estudió con Joseph Gingold
en la Universidad de Indiana y con Ivan
Galamian en el Instituto Curtis de Filadelfia.
A su regreso a Europa pronto se labró una
gran reputación como uno de los mejores violinistas de su generación.
Ha ofrecido conciertos en los recintos musicales más importantes del mundo incluyendo Londres, Munich, Hamburgo. Japón y
Australia. Ha sido miembro de las más importantes orquestas de Alemania como la Orquesta Sinfónica de la Radio de
Berlín, la Sinfonica de la Radio de Baviera y la Filarmonica de Berlín.
Tiene diversas grabaciones para EMI, las cuales incluyen la obra completa
para violín y orquesta de Saint-Saens con la London Philharmonia Orchestra,
el concierto de Beethoven con la Staatskapelle de Dresde, el triple concierto
de Beethoven con Heinrich Schiff, Christian Zacharias y Kurt Masur dirigiendo la Gewandhausorchester de Leipzig, y Spohr, de quien grabó su obra
completa para violín y orquesta con la Orquesta Sinfónica de la Radio de
Berlín. Ha tocado varios conciertos escritos especialmente para él, como los

Ulf Hoeslcher es profesor de violín en la Escuela Superior de Música de
Karlsruhe desde 1981.
Ulf Hoelscher's first teacher at the age of seven was his father Ferdinand
Hoelscher and by the age of ten Bruno Masurat. At fifteen went to Cologne
to study with Max Rostal for five years. Having graduated from Cologne, and
for three years Hoelscher went to United States to work with Joseph Gingold
at Indiana University in Bloomington, he later studied with Ivan Galamian
at the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia.
On his return to Europe, he quickly established a reputation as one of the leading violinists of his generation
His exceptionally broad repertoire is reflected in his award winning recordings a.o. for EMI he recorded the complete works for violin and orchestra
of Camille Saint-Saens with the London Philharmonia Orchestra, Beethoven
Violinconcerto with Dresdner Staatskapelle, Tripelconcerto with Heinrich
Schiff Christian Zacharias and Kurt Masur conducting the Leipzig
Gewandhousorchester... and the Spohr whole work for violin and orchestra
with the Berlin Radio Symphony Orchestra.
A strong commitment to the virtuoso repertorie and a champion to contemporary music, Ulf Hoelscher premiered concertos written for him by Volker
David Kirchner in 1984 with Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra, Franz Hummel
in 1987 with Baden-Baden (TV). He also dedicated to chamber music, he
partnered MstislavRostropovich and Galina Vishnevskaya in a record of
Shostakovich’s chamber music, this was followed by Brahms Trio b minor
with Heinrich Schiff and Chistian Zacharias.
As a professor he has been teaching at the Karlsruhe Hochschule since 1981.

Violin Courses
RAINER SONNE
Nació en Gottingen.
Comenzó sus estudios de violín en 1959
con Renate Kaiser en la Academia de Música
de Kassel, ganando el 1.er premio del concurso nacional «Juventudes Musicales» de
Alemania en 1966. De 1970 a 1976 estudió con Igor Ozim en el Colegio de Música
de Colonia, continuando sus estudios con Max Rostal, Sandor Vegh y
Nathan Milstein con becas concedidas por la Fundación Alemana de
Estudios Avanzados y de la Fundación Oscar y Vera Ritter.
En 1975 ganó el concurso Mozart de Würzburg y en 1976 ingresa en la
Orquesta Filarmónica de Berlín de la que actualmente es concertino.
Además de su trabajo como concertino, Rainner Sonne actua como solista con la Filarmónica de Berlín frecuentemente en Europa, USA y Japón,
y como leader de los grupos de dicha orquesta “Philharmonic Soloists”,
“Divertimento Berlin” y “Philharmonic Piano Quartet”, habiendo hecho
con estos grupos numerosas grabaciones para la radio y CDs.
Rainer Sonne es además profesor de la Academia Karajan adscrita a la
Filarmónica berlinesa, y desde 2006 profesor de violín en la Universidad
de las Artes ( Hochschule der Künste ) de Berlín.
He was born in Göttingen.
He began studies in 1959 with Renate Kaiser at the Music Academy in
Kassel and was a prize winner of the national competition “Jugend
Musiziert” in 1966. From 1970 to 1976 he studied with Igor Ozim at the
College of Music in Cologne, later studied with Max Rostal as well as
Sandor Vegh and Nathan Milstein. Rainer Sonne receives scholarships
from “German Foundation for Advanced Study” and the “Oscar and
Vera Ritter Foundation”.
In 1975 he won the Mozart Competition in Würzburg and he joined the
Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra in 1976 as a concertmaster.
In addition to his concertmaster duties, at present Rainer Sonne performs as a soloist with the Berlin Philharmonic. He performs regularly
in Europe, USA, and Japan as leader of the “Philharmonic Soloist”, the
“Divertimento Berlin” and the “Philharmonic Piano Quartet”, and with
these ensembles he has made numerous radio and CD recordings.
As a professor, Rainer Sonne is also teaching in the Karajan Academy
of Berlin Philharmonic, and since 2006 is a violin teacher at the Berlin
Hochschule der Künste (now Berlin University of the Arts).

LEV CHISTYAKOV
Nació en la antigua URSS en 1942. Se graduó en
el Conservatorio Tchaikovsky de Moscú en 1966
con el profesor Boris Belenki, en la cátedra de
David Oistrakh; seguidamente hizo sus estudios
de postgrado en la misma cátedra, finalizándolos
en 1969 con el título de Profesor de Violín y Profesor
de Música de Cámara. De 1967 a 1982 formó parte
de la Orquesta de Camara de Moscú, con R. Barshai.
En 1979 y hasta 1996 formó parte de la Orquesta
de Cámara "Virtuosos de Moscú", con Vladimir
Spivakov, siendo uno de sus fundadores. De 1982 a 1990 fue profesor titular
del Conservatorio Tchaikovsky y, así mismo de la Escuela Central de Música
de Moscú. Ha dado masterclasses de violín en EE.UU., Inglaterra, Francia,
Turquía, Ucrania y España. En 1990 llegó a España con su orquesta "Virtuosos
de Moscú" en donde desarrolla una intensa actividad concertística y pedagógica como profesor de violín. Sus alumnos han sido premiados en varias
competiciones internacionales como: "Concurso Infantil Wieniawski" de Lublin
en 1988, "Infantil Oistrakh", de toda la URSS, en Odesa 1989, "Concurso
Bach" de Leipzig en 1988 y 1996, "Concertino" de Praga en 1990, "Zabaleta"
de San Sebastián, en l991, "Pablo Sarasate" de Pamplona, en 1991, "Paganini"
de Génova, en 1995.... y de ellos 3 primeros premios y un segundo premio.
Born in 1942 in the old Soviet Union. He graduated in 1966 at Moscow
Conservatoire Tchaikovsky as pupil of violin with professor Boris Belenki and
David Oistrakh, and continuing his postgraduated studies in the same class of
David Oistrakh, having received in 1969 his master Diplomas as Professor of
Violin and Professor of Chamber Music. He was a member of the Moscow
Chamber Orchestra from 1967 until 1982 under R. Barshai. From 1979 until
1996 member of “Moscow Virtuosi” Chamber Orchestra under Vladimir
Spivakov. He was a violin professor at the Tchaikovsky Conservatoire from
1982 until 1990 and at the Central Music School of Moscow. He has given masterclasses in the U.S.A., U.K., France, Turkey, Ukraine and Spain. In 1990 he
moved to Spain with the Moscow Virtuosi Orchestra, where he leads then an
active professional life as member of the orchestra and he combines his career as a performer with teaching. Many of his pupils have won prizes at National
and International Competitions, such as: Youth Wieniawski Competition 1988,
Lublin; the USSR Youth Oistrakh Competition 1989, Odessa; Bach Competition
1988 and 1996, Leipzig; Praha “Concertino” Competition, 1990; Zabaleta
Competition 1991, San Sebastian; Sarasate Competition 1991, Pamplona;
Paganini Competition 1995, Genoa.... three of them as first prizes and one as
second prize.

Viola Course
WILFRIED STREHLE
Wilfried Strehle nació en el suroeste de Alemania
en 1947. Habiendo estudiado en las academias
de música de Stuttgart y de Detmold como discípulo de Tibor Varga, comenzó su actividad
profesional en la Stuttgart Sudfunk Symphony
Orchestra y en la Orquesta de Cámara de Tibor
Varga.
En 1971 ingresa en la Orquesta Filarmónica
de Berlín con Herbert von Karajan, y desde1984 es viola solista, posición en la que permanece con Claudio Abbado y Simon Rattle.Ha tocado en la" Orquesta para la Paz" dirigida por Georg Solti, y fue miembro
fundador de la Philharmonic Sinfonietta Berlin en 2005.
Es miembro del " Cuarteto Brandis "desde su fundación en 1976, habiéndolo sido del Octeto de la Filarmónica de Berlin, del Sexteto de la
Filarmónica de Berlin y del Trio Berlín, este último fundado por él mismo,
y que en 1997 recibió del Parlamento Europeo el premio europeo de
Música de Cámara.
Solista conocido tanto nacional como internacionalmente, imparte clases magistrales en diferentes paises y ha grabado para los mas importantes sellos discográficos.
Desde 2001 es profesor de viola y música de cámara de la Escuela Superior
(Universität der Künste) de Berlín, y de la Academia de Verano del
Mozarteum de Salzburgo.
Wilfried Strehle was born in 1947 in the Southwest of Germany. He
studied at the Academies of Music in Stuttgart and Detmold under Tibor
Varga and began his work at the Stuttgart Sudfunk Symphony Orchestra
and Tibor Varga Chamber Orchestra.
Since 1971 Mr. Strehle has been a member of the Berlin Philharmonic
Orchestra becoming principal viola in 1984 under Herbert von Karajan.
He has performed with the "World Orchestra for Peace "conducted by
Sir Georg Solti, and was a founding member of the Philharmonic Sinfonietta
Berlin in 2005.
Wilfried Strehle has been a member of the Brandis Quartet since its
foundation in 1976. He has performed with the Philharmonic Octet
Berlin, the Philharmonic Sextet Berlin, and Trio Berlin. The latest was
founded by himself and in 1997 received the European Chamber Music
Award by the European Parliament.
Soloist at home and abroad, masterclasses on an international level, he
has recorded widely.
Since 2001 Wilfried Strehle is professor for viola and chamber music at
the Universität der Künste Berlin, and the International Summer Academy
of the Mozarteum Salzburg.
Students applied for the viola course will receive classes from both professors.

ULRICH KNÖRZER
Nació en Mannheim in 1961.
A los 9 años comenzó los estudios de violin,
cambiando a la viola en 1973. Ganador tres
veces, en 1974, 76 y 78 del concurso nacional
alemán de jóvenes "Jugend Musiziert ".
Entre 1980 y 1987 estudió con Rainer Moog
en Colonia, y en los años 1988 y 89 con Karen
Tuttle en la Juilliard School of Music, de Nueva
York, asistiendo a masterclasses con Max Rostal, Thomas Riebl, Sandor
Vegh, Wolfram Christ yYuri Bashmet.
Miembro del Cuarteto de Cuerda de Mannheim, ganando con él el 2°
premio del concurso Tonger de Colonia, el 1er premio del concurso internacional de cuartetos de cuerda de Evian (Francia ) y del concurso nacional
de Alemania en Bonn, en 1985.
En 1990 ingresa como miembro permanente en la Orquesta Filarmónica
de Berlín, y desde 1992 es miembro del Scharoun Ensemble de Berlin.
Profesor de viola en la Hochschule der Künste de Berlín (ahora Universidad
de las Artes) desde 1999, es solicitado regularmente a los encuentros de
la Joven Orquesta Gustav Mahler como profesor de viola.
Born in Mannheim in 1961,
At the age of 9 started studies of violin changing to viola in 1973.
Ulrich Knörzer won three times the first prize in the German National
Youth Competition “Jugend Musiziert” : 1974, 76 and 78.
He studied with Rainer Moog in Cologne in the period 1980 - 1987, and
with Karen Tuttle at the Juilliard School of Music in New York in 1988

As a member of the “Mannheimer Streichquartett” won the 2nd prize
at the Tonger Music Competition in Cologne, winner of the international String Quartet Competition in Evian (France) and at the German

Ulrich Knörzer joined the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra in 1990, and
since 1992 is a member of the Scharoun Ensemble Berlin.
Since 1999 is a viola teacher at the Berlin Hochschule der Künste (now
Berlin University of the Arts), and currently teacher in the Gustav Mahler
Youth Orchestra.

WOLFGANG BOETTCHER
Nació en Berlin en 1935. Estudió con Richard Klemm y
Maurice Gendron. W. Bottcher empezó su carrera ganando el Concurso ARD de Munich, formando dúo con su
hermana la pianista Ursula Trede. Como solista ha tocado en prácticamente todo el mundo, con las mejores
orquestas y directores. Son especialmente notables sus
colaboraciones con Herbert von Karajan, Sergiu Celebidache,
Witold Lutoslawski y Daniel Baremboim, sus apariciones en los “Festwochen” de Viena y Berlín, Festival de
Salzburgo, Festival Marais de París, Festival Bach en
Inglaterra, etc. Miembro de la Filarmónica de Berlín desde
1958, y como l.er cello principal de 1963 a 1976. Este año dejó la orquesta para dedicarse a su carrera solística y profesor en la Hochschule der Künste de Berlín. De su clase
han salido numerosos cellistas que ocupan prominente lugar en la escena musical internacional: entre otros, Wen-Sian Yong, l.er cello principal de la Orquesta Sinfonica de la
Radio de Baviera y seis miembros de la actual Filarmónica de Berlín fueron alumnos de
W. Boettcher....

began his career winning the ARD Competition in Munich forming a duet with his sister
the pianist Ursula Trede. As a soloist, he has concretised worldwide with many prestigious orchestras and famous conductors. Particularly noteworthy have been his collaborations with Herbert von Karajan, Sergiu Celebidache, Witold Lutoslawski and Daniel
Baremboim. Wolfgang Boettcher has performed in the Vienna and Berlin "Festwochen",
Salzburg Festival, Paris Marais Festival, the English Bach Festival, etc. and in numerous other festivals throughout the world. Member of the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra
since 1958, from 1963 until 1976 as Principal cello. He left this position in order to dedicate himself completely to his solo career and to assume the position of professor at the
Hochschule der Künste Berlin. His studio has produced many very prominent cellists
active in the international music scene today, among them Wen-Sian Young, l.st solo cellist
of the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra and six cellists of the Berlín Philharmonic
Orchestra today...
He has recorded for Deutsche Grammophon, EMI and others, and gives masterclasses
in Europe, URRS and Japan. He is a member of the Bavarian Fine Arts Academy in
Munich since 1988. In addition, from 1986 to 1992 he was music director of the Hitzacker
Summer Music Weeks. Many composers have written works for Wolfgang Boettcher.
Among other works, he has premiered the Double Concerto by Aribert Reimann with Ulf
Hoelscher and 2nd Cello Concerto by Giselher Klebe with the Berlin Philharmonic directed by Daniel Baremboim.

ALEXANDER OSOKIN
Nació en Moscú en 1949 en el seno de una familia
de músicos, su padre era compositor y su madre
violoncellista y profesora.
Comenzó sus estudios musicales a los seis años de
edad. En 1957 ingresa en la Escuela Central de
Música de Moscú, finalizando estos estudios en
1968 con las máximas calificaciones y como número 1, pasando este mismo año al Conservatorio
Superior en la clase de M. Rostropovich. Finaliza
en el Conservatorio Tchaikovsky en 1973 con varios
diplomas. Entre 1975 y 1978 Alexander Osokin realiza su doctorado en la especialidad de cuarteto en el Instituto Superior Gnessin
de Moscú con el profesor V. Berlinsky, violoncellista del Cuarteto Borodin.
Trabajó muy estrechamente con D.Shostakovich, interpretando sus últimos cuartetos.
Desde 1972 forma parte del "Cuarteto de Moscú", el cual cuenta con dos primeros premios en concursos internacionales de Yugoslavia y Checoslovaquia.
Es igualmente partner de Vladimir Spivakov en el "Spivakov Cuartet", y desde
el mismo año de su creación en 1982 forma parte de la Orquesta de Cámara
"Virtuosos de Moscú".
Con el “Cuarteto de Moscú” y con la Orquesta “Virtuosos de Moscú” ha grabado más de 30 CDs para las Discográficas B.M.G. (USA) y “Le Chant du Monde”
(Francia).
A partir del año 2005 es Director artístico del Concurso de Violonchelo de
Arquillos (Jaén).
He was born in Moscow in 1949 in a musician family, his father was a composer and his mother a cellist and music professor.
In 1957 he began his cello studies at Moscow Central Music School, finishing
them in 1968 with the highest califications and graduated as the n° 1, same year
which he began his studies at the Higher Conservatory in the class of M.
Rostropovich. In 1973 he graduated from Tchaikowsky Conservatory with several diplomas. From 1975 until 1978 Alexander Osokin made his postgraduated
studies in the speciality of quartet at the Moscow Higher Institute Gnessin with
professor Berlinsky, a cellist of the famous Borodin Quartet.
In 1972 has joined the "Moscow Quartet", and as a member of it he has been
awarded with two prices in international competitions of Yugoslavia and
Chekoslovaquia. He is also a partner of Vladimir Spivakov in the "Spivakov
Quartet" and a member of Moscow Virtuosi Orchestra since its foundation in
1982.

ALEXANDER MIJNO
Nació en Moscú en 1947.
Inicio sus estudios de contrabajo a muy temprana edad en la Escuela de Música Gnessin
con K. Nasarova. En 1971 ingresa en la
Academia Superior Gnessin en la clase del
gran profesor V. Jomenko, doctorándose en
1978. Desde 1973 a 1980 fue contrabajo de
la Orquesta Filarmónica de Moscú y de 1980
a 1994 fue contrabajo coprincipal de la Orquesta
Sinfónica del Estado de la URSS.
Su carrera como solista a partir de 1969 incluye giras por varios países de Europa. En 1975 obtiene el 1.er premio en
el Concurso Internacional de Markneukirchen (Alemania). Ha grabado
cinco discos y realizado grabaciones para la radio y la televisión.
Desde 1966 Alexander Mijno es profesor de la Academia Media Gnessin,
y desde1975 de la Academia Superior Gnessin de Moscú. Ha impartido clases magistrales en Rusia, Japón, Alemania e Inglaterra y es uno de los pedagogos con mayor prestigio y reconocimiento de Rusia en la actualidad.
Fue miembro del jurado del Concurso de Contrabajo de Rusia en 1980,
1982, 1984 y 1988, del Concurso Internacional de Contrabajo de Munich
en 1991, de Kromeriz en 1997 y en el Concurso de Contrabajo del Báltico
de 1989, como presidente del jurado.
Es profesor invitado del Musikinstitut für Aufführungsrpaxis en Michaelstein.
He was born in Moscow in 1947.
He started doublebass studies at very early age at the Gnessin Music
School with K. Nasarova, then continued 1971 at Gnessin Academy of
Music in Moscow in the class of the great professor V. Jomenko and graduated in 1978. He worked from 1973 to 1980 in the Moscow Philharmonic
Orchestra and from 1980 to 1994 as coprincipal doublebassist in the
Soviet Union State’s Symphony Orchestra.
He performed as soloist since 1969 in many European countries. In 1975
he won the 1st prize and gold medal at the Doublebass International
Competition of Markneukirchen (Germany). He has recorded five CD’s
and several recordings for SSRU Radio Television.
Alexander Mijno was a professor of Moscow Gnessin Academy and regularly gives masterclasses in Russia, Japan, Germany and England and
he was a member of jury in the SSRU Nacional Competition in 1980,
1982, 1984 and 1988, in the 1991 International Competition of Munich,
in Kromeriz Competition 1997 and the Baltic’s Competition of Doublebass
in 1989, as jury’s president.
Is guest professor at Michaelstein´s Musikinstitut für Aufführungsrpaxis.

KARL LEISTER
Nació en 1937 en Wilhelmshaven, Alemania. Sus primeras lecciones las recibió de su padre, clarinete en la
RIAS Orquesta, de Berlín. De 1953 a 1957 estudió en
la Hochschule fur Musik de Berlín, ingresando ese
mismo año como clarinete solista en la Orquesta de la
Opera Cómica de Berlín.
En 1959 entra en la Orquesta Filarmónica de Berlín
como clarinete solista, con Herbert von Karajan. Los
30 años de trabajo conjunto con Karajan fue el periodo mas fructífero de Karl Leister, su carrera internacional como solista y músico de cámara empezó entonces, alternando con el Cuarteto
Amadeus, Guidon Kremer, o los pianistas Wilhelm Kempf, Christoph Eschenbach,
James Levine, Ricardo Muti, Bruno Canino, Paul Gulda, y tocando como solista con
Herbert von Karajan, Karl Bohm, Seiji Ozawa, Eugen Jochum y Raphael Kubelik.
Karl Leister es uno de los fundadores de los conjuntos "Vientos de la Filarmónica de
Berlín ", así como del Ensemble Viena-Berlín. Ganador de numerosos premios en
competiciones nacionales e internacionales, ha grabado la práctica totalidad de la literatura de clarinete para los mas importantes sellos discográficos, DGG, EMI, Philips,

Karl Leister was born in Wilhelmshaven, Germany in 1937. His first lessons he got
from his father, who was a clarinet player of the Radio Symphonic Orchestra of
Berlin. Between 1953 - 1957 he studied at the Hochschule für Musik in Berlin and in
1957, at the age of 19, was already principal clarinet player at the Komische Oper
Berlin, under Vaclav Neumann and Walter Felsenstein.
In 1959 he began his work as principal clarinet player at Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra
under Herbert von Karajan. The 30 years of working together with Karajan was the
most important and characterizing time for Karl Leister. At the same time his international career as soloist and chamber musician began. His chamber music partners
were moreover the Amadeus - Quartet, Gidon Kremer as well as the pianists Wilhelm
Kempf, Christoph Eschenbach, James Levine, Ricardo Muti, Bruno Canino, Paul
Gulda. Furthermore he played as soloist under the direction of Herbert von Karajan,
Karl Bohm, Seigi Ozawa, Eugen Jochum and Raphael Kubelik. Karl Leister is one of
the founder of the ensemble "Berlin Philharmonic Winds "as well as "Ensemble WienBerlin ". He was winner of numerous prizes at national and international music competitions, and beyond that he recorded nearly all the clarinet literature at the labels
DGG, EMI, Philips, Teldec/ Warner, Orfeo, D+G, Nimbus, Sony.
Teacher of the Karajan Academy since its foundation, and between 1993 and 2002 he
was professor at the Hochschule fur Music Berlin Hanns Eisler, many of his former
students work in important positions of German and international orchestras.
Simultaneously Karl Leister is requested at international Festivals and masterclasses.
In 1987 he became honorary member of the Royal Academy of Music, London.

VICENS PRATS
Nació en Cataluña en 1961.
Estudió en el Conservatorio de París con Michel
Debost, Jean-Pierre Rampal, Alain Marion y Christian
Lardé, donde obtuvo por unanimidad los primeros
premios de Flauta y Música de Cámara, y siendo el
primer español en conseguirlo. Ha sido galardonado en los concursos internacionales de Kobe (Japón)
y María Canals de Barcelona.
Desde 1988 hasta 1991 fue flauta solista de la
Orquesta Nacional del Capitolio de Toulouse, y
desde 1991 es primer flauta solista de la Orquesta
de París.
Ha trabajado con directores como Georg Solti, C.M. Giulini, Pierre Boulez, Lorin
Maazel, Kurt Sandeling, Wolfgang Sawallisch, Daniel Baremboin, Franz Brüggen,
Chistoph von Dolmany, Seiji Ozawa, Bernard Haitink, E.P. Salonen, James
Conlon (con quien tocó el Concierto de J. Ibert en la sala Pleyel de París), etc.,
y tocando de solista con formaciones tales como Orquesta Frantz Listz de Budapest,
Solistas de Zagreb, I Musici, Orquesta de París, Orquesta de Cámara de Toulouse,
Orquesta del Capitolio de Toulouse, The Guildhall Strings Ensemble.
Paralelamente a su actividad orquestal, Vicens Prats desarrolla una intensa labor
camerística, siendo fundador y miembro de varios grupos en París, y pedagógica siendo invitado regularmente a impartir cursos de perfeccionamiento en
EE.UU., Japón, Corea, Francia, Portugal, Italia y Croacia.
Es profesor de la Escuela Superior de Música de Cataluña ( ESMUC ).

In paralell with these orchestral activities he regularly developes an intensive
chamber music activity, being founder and member of several ensembles of Paris,
and pedagogical, having been invited to give masterclasses in the U.S.A., Japan,
Korea, France, Portugal, Italy and Croatia.
As a professor he teaches at Higher Music School of Catalonia ( ESMUC ).

ANDREAS WITTMANN
Nació en Munich en 1961.
Inició sus estudios con Heinz Brune en
Regensburg, continuándolos con Manfred
Clement en la Escuela Estatal de Música de
Munich. Posteriormente prosigue éstos en la
Hochschule der Künste de Berlín con Hansjörg
Schellenberger y finalmente con el mismo en
la Academia de la Filarmónica de Berlín.
En 1977 gana el 1.er premio en el concurso de “Juventudes Musicales”
de Alemania.
En 1986 ingresa en la Orquesta Filarmónica de Berlín y en la que permanece como solista y también miembro del “Quinteto de Viento” de
la Filarmónica de Berlín, con el que ha hecho numerosas grabaciones.
Es además oboe principal de la Orquesta del Festival de Bayreuth y
son continuas sus apariciones como solista en diversos conjuntos de
cámara.
Andreas Witmann was born in Munich in 1961.
His first teachers were Heinz Brune in Regensburg and Manfred Clement
at the Munich State College of Music. He later studied at the Hochschule
der Künste in Berlin and the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra Academy
with Hansjörg Schellenberger.
In 1977 he won first prize in the German“Jugend Musiziert” competition.

and abrod and is also principal oboe on the Bayreuth Festival Orchestra.
