Learn to Ride a Two-Wheel Bicycle
iCan Bike helps individuals with special needs discover how to independently
ride a conventional two-wheel bicycle, creating a gateway of opportunity that
helps them gain confidence in many other aspects of their lives. Participants
attend a 75-minute session each day for 5 days, where they learn to ride while
accompanied and encouraged by volunteer spotters.
Participant must meet all these requirements:
·· Minimum of 8 years of age
·· With a disability
·· Able to walk without assistive device
·· Able to sidestep to both sides
·· Minimum inseam of 20”, max weight 220 lbs.
·· Able to wear a properly fitted bike helmet
$100 Registration fee includes:
·· 5 days of instruction with specialized equipment
·· helmet
·· t-shirt
·· water bottle.
Registration Deadline May 13th
Register early. Camp limited to 40 riders.
VOLUNTEER
You Can Help Change a Life This Summer
Volunteer Spotters walk/run/jog alongside a rider as they are learning to ride a
bike during a 75-minute session (with short breaks) for 5 days Monday through
Friday. Spotters provide encouragement and physical support, as needed.
All volunteers receive a custom t-shirt & water bottle!

A few questions, to make sure you’re ready to borrow the stencils:







Do you have permission to paint at your facility? Are you sure?
Do you have staff or volunteers scheduled and supplies ready for painting?
Is the weather forecast good for painting?
Is the surface swept, clean, smooth, and prepared for painting?
Do you have ability to transport stencils without folding, rolling, or other damage? Sorry, no open pick-up
trucks. Stencils are lightweight laminated cardboard (large kits are up to 4’ x 7’) .
Stencil kits need to be returned within 10 business days.
Are you able to take before & after photos of the play areas, and send them via email?

children be successful at home, in school, and in the
community. We will be sharing helpful resources,
strategies for success, and support.
An Overview of Treatment for AD/HD

comprehensive treatment plan.
