Doolen Middle School Parent Cafecito
Doolen families will meet over
coffee and snacks to learn about services provided by TUSD through the Family
Resource Center Program. A van will be available to transport families from Doolen to
Catalina. The van will leave Doolen at 5:45, and return families to Doolen following the
meeting. Childcare will be provided.

evening with internationally recognized author, poet, and screen writer, Mr. Antwone
Fisher. Antwone Fisher, whose life was the inspiration for a major motion picture starring
Denzel Washington, will be speaking with families and community about his life story on
September 15, 2016. Afterward, Mr. Fisher will be available for autographs and photos
immediately following his presentation. The registration and sign-in will start promptly at
5:30 p.m. The program will start at 6:00 p.m. The event is free.

Asanas, or postures, use controlled movement, concentration, flexibility, and conscious breathing.
Movements are slow, but they provide an invigorating workout for the mind and body, including the internal
organs. Yoga exercises ease tense muscles, tone up the internal organs, and improve the flexibility joints
and ligaments. Proper yoga exercise improves suppleness and strength.
