DEM Barcelona colabora habitualmente con tres diseñadores reconocidos en el mundo
del diseño industrial que cuentan con una larga y exitosa trayectoria profesional. En
este catálogo, los tres han aportado ideas y diseños especialmente creados para DEM
Barcelona.
Formado como diseñador industrial en la escuela Elisava. En 2002 crea su propia empresa,
Ànima Barcelona. Durante 12 años es responsable de la empresa y guía su crecimiento y
expansión en el mercado internacional en proyectos de ámbitos tan diferentes como el
equipamiento para el hogar, electrónica de consumo, maquinaria industrial, complemento
personal o diseño de transportes convirtiéndose en uno de los máximos referentes del país
en la exportación de servicios de diseño, especialmente en el sud-este asiático. A partir del
año 2014, empieza una nueva etapa profesional afrontando nuevos proyectos más cercanos
y personales.
DEM Barcelona collaborates regularly with three designers well known in the world of
industrial design,who have enjoyed long,successful professional careers.In this catalogue,
the three have contributed ideas and designs created especially for DEM Barcelona.
Trained as an industrial designer at the Elisava Design School. In 2002 he creates his own company,
Ànima Barcelona. During 12 years he is responsible for the company, and he guides its growth and
expansion on the international market in projects as different in scope as household equipment,
consumer electronics, industrial machinery, personal compliments or transport design, thus becoming
one of the main figures in the country in exportation of design services, especially in southeast Asia.
Starting in 2014, he begins a new phase of his professional life by taking on new projects that are
more intimate and personal.

Lluís Codina
Barcelona, 1965
Interiorista formado en la escuela Elisava. Primer premio convocatoria del Colegio de
Decoradores de Barcelona, 1990. Diseñador de producto. Concretamente de mobiliario
para marcas nacionales e internacionales y también de artículos para industria auxiliar del
mueble. En los últimos años combina su trabajo con viajes a Asia con asiduidad, involucrado
en interiorismo y diseño de tapicería; mobiliario de acero inoxidable y también en proyectos
de landscaping y stands para ferias. Colabora constantemente con artistas y diseñadores en
la creación de nuevos proyectos, solucionando retos con nuevas propuestas.
Graduado en la escuela Elisava. De formación pluridisciplinar en diferentes campos del
diseño y las nuevas tecnologías. Inicia su actividad profesional hace 25 años. Tras años de
experiencia en agencias de comunicación y diseño gráfico crea su propio estudio aunando
experiencia y formación, siendo el responsable de diseño industrial e infografía. En la
actualidad y en paralelo a la propia actividad de su despacho forma parte del grupo Tactis,
participando en el desarrollo de proyectos globales de diseño y comunicación. En el campo
del mobiliario ha colaborado con empresas de primera línea que le han valido presencia
regular en los medios de comunicación nacionales e internacionales.
Taradell (Barcelona), 1967
An interior designer trained at the Elisava Design School. Awarded first prize in a competition of
the Barcelona College of Decorators, 1990.Product designer.Specifically of furnishings for national
and international brands and also articles for the auxiliary furnishings industry.In recent years he
combines his professional career with frequent travel to Asia, where he is involved in interior design
andupholstery design; furnishings in stainless steel and also in landscaping projects and stands for
festivals. He collaborates constantly with artists and designers in the creation of new projects by
responding to challenges with new proposals.
Graduate of the Elisava Design School.This designer has had multi-disciplinary training in different
fields of design and new technologies. He began his professional activity 25 years ago. After years
of experience in communications agencies and graphic design, he created his own studio by uniting
experience and training, taking responsibility himself for industrial design and infographics. At
present, in parallel to his activity in the office, he participates in the group Tactis, contributing to
development of global projects in design and communications. In the field of furnishings, he has
collaborated with top-ranking companies, which has made him a regular presence in national and
international communications media.
