NIRVANA must be laid indoors on a clean, stable, flat, smooth and dry surface. Handle the packages carefully
during transport to avoid damaging the tongues and grooves; laying damaged planks is not covered by the
warranty. Before laying the planks, you may need one underlay of 0.2 mm / 0.008” thick polyethylene plastic
to act as a moisture barrier (ask your dealer for advice). Consider purchasing your finishing moldings today;

Store NIRVANA flooring flat for 48 hours, in its original packaging, at room temperature (15°-30°C / 60°-85°F
and a maximum of 75% relative humidity) in the room in which it is to be installed.

SUB-FLOOR
CONCRETE
1) Insure that your sub-floor is clean, flat,
smooth and level. Slopes of more than 5 mm
over 2 meters or 1/4” over 6 feet must be
levelled. Correct any changes in slope using
a levelling compound. After levelling, wait at
least 1 week to allow the compound to dry
completely before laying your NIRVANA floor.
2) Apply a dust-inhibiting sealant.
3) Lay a moisture barrier of 0.2 mm / 0.008”
polyethylene plastic and overlap any edges
by 200mm / 8”. Using the wide adhesive tape,
seal the edges by taping along the entire seam.
HOW TO INSTALL NIRVANA FLOORING
NIRVANA flooring is designed for glue-less laying
and must be laid as a “floating floor”.
1) Measure the room carefully to determine if
it is square, and to calculate the width of
the last row. For planks less than 50 mm /
2” in width, re-cutting the first row will be
necessary to insure stability (do not include
the tongue of a plank in your measurements,
as all exposed tongues must be removed
from the perimeter of the floor, i.e. the first
row of planks). Should you have an irregular
wall for the first row, the plank must be cut
to follow the wall’s irregularities. Please
note that any installation requiring the
flooring to exceed 8 meters / 27 feet in
width or length, will require an expansion
or T molding.
2) When preparing to saw a plank (use safety
glasses), always insure that the teeth of
the saw will be cutting into the decorative
surface of the plank. (Ex: using a table saw
face laminate side down).
3) Starting in one corner of the room, the
flooring should be installed from left to
right, with the groove sides facing out
from the walls. Place spacers between the
plank and the wall, 1 spacer on the width
and one spacer at each end where one
plank joins another. (Spacers provide the
necessary space required for expansion
around the perimeter of the floor. It is
especially important to leave at least 8
mm / 5/16” free around the entire floor,
including under doorframes). The planks at
the end of each row must not be shorter
than 300 mm / 12”, to insure stability. If
your last plank is shorter than 300 mm /
12”, it is advised to re-cut the first plank
in the row if you want to keep the plank
layout as installed or change your plank
length distribution along the row. Distribute
the planks of the next two rows prior to
installing them to achieve an eye pleasing
look as you would with random length
cut hardwood. Continue the installation
while distributing planks of different
lengths until you reach the opposite wall.
FINISHING
1) Remove the spacers.
2) Cover the expansion joints around the
perimeter of the floor with baseboard
moldings and/or quarter rounds. If a vapor
barrier was used, do not forget to fold the
polyethylene film along the edge of the
walls under the baseboards and/or quarter
rounds. Fit these products to the walls
without attaching them to the floor.
3) Install the t-moldings to hide the expansion
gaps where needed (doorways, more than 8
meters / 27 feet, etc.).
4) Any remaining panels can be kept for several
years, stored flat in a moisture-free area.
Furniture can be put back in position right
away.
MAINTENANCE
The manufacturer recommends cleaning with
a broom or a vacuum cleaner or with a cloth
moistened with a small amount of diluted
cleaning product. Stubborn stains should be
removed using a cloth with a small quantity
of acetone.
You can also use a Swiffer® with the wet
cloths.
It is recommended to use felt pads under
chairs, tables or any objects that could scratch
the flooring in any way
NIRVANA LAMINATE FLOORING LIMITED
25 YEAR RESIDENTIAL WARRANTY
NIRVANA FLOORING warrants the product,
from the date of original installation, for
Twenty Five (25) years. NIRVANA FLOORING
warrants that all NIRVANA FLOORING panels
(“panels”), installed for normal residential use,
will be free of manufacturing defects and
will not fade under artificial light or sunlight,
stain or show wear through the decor layer,
and will resist water damage under normal
use conditions.
If a panel does not perform as stated NIRVANA
FLOORING will replace the panel with the same
style product, if it is still available, or with a
comparable product from the current line.
Replacement panel(s) will be provided at no
charge to the end user.
LAMINATE PRE-INSTALLATION WARRANTY
4) Lay the moisture barrier up the walls 50 mm / 2”,
to prevent moisture from penetrating the edges
of the flooring.
5) Proceed to instructions on PREPARING TO
INSTALL.
WOOD AND OTHER SURFACES
1) Insure that your sub-floor is clean, flat,
smooth and level. Slopes of more than 5
mm over 2 meters or 1/4” over 6 feet must

(a moisture barrier must be laid over the
area being repaired if a levelling compound
is used).
4) When laying the planks for the first row,
place the first plank flat and against the
spacers. The next plank being laid must
be elevated at a slight angle to allow the
tongue to slip into the groove of the first
plank. Once flat, push and gently tap the
planks together until they “clip” in tight.
As the click on the short side is different
from the click on the long side to facilitate
installation we recommend you place a
piece of duct tape at the short side joint of
the first row planks until the second row
is in place. The tape can then be removed.
2) Proceed to instructions on PREPARING TO
INSTALL.
Special notes: 1) On all concrete floors, the
carpeting and underpadding must be removed
to avoid possible humidity problems. 2) For
floors with radiant heating make sure to turn
down your thermostat to 15°C / 60°F at least
1 week prior to installation (do not turn off
heating if the temperature outside is below
freezing). Maintain the room temperature
below 27°C / 80°F.
PREPARING TO INSTALL
1) Let the packages of flooring lie flat on
the floor for at least 48 hours prior to
installation, in the room in which the floor
is to be installed.
We will guarantee your satisfaction with
each NIRVANA FLOORING plank. Should any
NIRVANA FLOORING plank not meet your
satisfaction because of a visual defect, simply
return it to your NIRVANA FLOORING retailer,
PRIOR TO INSTALLATION, for a replacement.
INFORMATION
ABOUT YOUR WARRANTY COVERAGE
• This warranty covers localized moisture
resulting from normal household and
commercial use such as wet shoes and
quickly cleaned spilled liquids. These
normal household activities will not harm
the flooring.
• This warranty excludes catastrophic failures
such as damage caused by flooding or
standing water from leaking pipes, faucets,
household appliances, etc; up to and
including flooding and any damage caused
by acts of God.
• This warranty does not cover panels installed
with obvious visual defects.
5) For the second and consecutive rows, elevate
the plank at a slight angle along its length
to allow the tongue to slip into the groove.
The next plank should be laid the same way
but, with the tongue on the left side of the
plank falling just next to the previous plank.
Once flat, you can push and gently tap the
planks together until they “clip” in tight.
2) Make sure to leave a clearance of at least
12.5 mm / 1/2” between the top surface of
the laminate flooring and the underside of
baseboard heaters.
• This warranty does not cover defects or
damage to NIRVANA FLOORING panels
caused by (i) installation or maintenance
that does not comply strictly with the
instructions set forth in the NIRVANA
FLOORING Installation and Maintenance
Instructions, (ii) abuse (e.g., using abrasives
like steel wool to scour the floor, sliding
heavy objects across the floor without proper
protection), or (iii) severe accidents (e.g.,
floods, fire, burns).
• This warranty applies only to the original
purchaser and installation site and is not
transferable.
3) Check door and doorframe clearances
to insure that doors will move freely
without contacting the laminate
surface, and that enough space (8 mm
/ 5/16”) is left under the doorframes to
allow the floor to expand underneath.
• This warranty is valid only for residential and
commercial installations.
6) When you reach the final row, place a
loose panel precisely on the last laid
panel. Place another panel on top,
but with its edge 8 mm / 5/16” from
the wall. Trace a cutting line along the
middle panel, and saw it along that line.
4) Remove existing moldings and baseboards.
• NIRVANA FLOORING will only cover the cost
of installation if done by a certified laminate
flooring installer
FOR WARRANTY SERVICE
To make a claim, contact your NIRVANA
FLOORING dealer no later than 30 days
following the date of discovery or detection of
wear, fade or staining. If the dealer’s response
is not satisfactory, please call NIRVANA
FLOORING at 1-866-839-2888 Ext 11. Proof
of purchase, such as bill of sale is mandatory
when requesting warranty service.
5) Clean and sweep.
• N.B.: This warranty dated February 2005,
supersedes all NIRVANA FLOORING warranties
previously issued, including warranties
accompanying product in carton.
6) Although the planks can be installed in any
direction, as a rule planks are usually installed
perpendicular to a wall with a window, and
installing the planks parallel to the longest
wall tends to make a room appear larger.
• NIRVANA FLOORING reserves the right to
designate a representative to inspect the
floor and remove samples for analysis.
7) Lay the panel you cut and ease it into
position. Insert spacers between the wall
and the last panel laid to be sure there is
an 8 mm / 5/16” expansion gap.
8) To pass obstacles through the floor covering
(pipes, radiator mounts), use a pencil to trace
the position for drilling. Find the centre then
drill, using a big enough bit to leave 8 mm
/ 5/16” peripheral play. Cut the strip in two
so that the saw mark goes through the
centre of the drilled hole, so that the strip
can be re-assembled around the pipe. If the
obstacle is on the long side of a strip, cut
it in a trapezoid shape, otherwise a straight
cut would be best.
9) When going from one room to the other
make sure to separate the rooms with a
transition molding.
The floor is ready for use as soon as it is laid.
• No unauthorized person, installer, dealer,
agent or employee of NIRVANA FLOORING or
any representative is entitled to assume any
liability on behalf of NIRVANA FLOORING
relating to the sale of this product or has the
authority to increase or alter the obligations
or limitations of this warranty.

SUBCAPA
CONCRETO
1) Asegúrese de que la subcapa esté limpia,

agradable, tal como lo haría con tablas de
madera natural de largo aleatorio. Proseguir
con la instalación disponiendo las tablas
de distintos largos hasta alcanzar la pared
opuesta.
2) Aplique un sellante contra el polvo.
3) Coloque una barrera de humedad de plástico
de polietileno de 0.2 mm o 0.008” y cubra
las orillas por al menos 200 mm u 8”. Selle
las orillas con la cinta adhesiva ancha,
presionando a lo largo de toda la junta.
4) Coloque la barrera de humedad hasta 50 mm o 2
pulgada de altura contra las paredes para así evitar
que la humedad penetre por las orillas del piso.
5) Continúe con las instrucciones de PREPARACIÓN
PARA INSTALAR.
MADERA Y OTRAS SUPERFICIES
1) Asegúrese de que la subcapa esté limpia,
plana, lisa y nivelada. Los defectos de más
de 5 mm en un área de 2 metros, o de 1/4 de
pulgada sobre 6 pies deben ser traslapados.
Proceda a corregir los defectos (si utiliza
un compuesto de traslapación, se deberá

4) Al instalar las tablas de la primera fila,
coloque la primera tabla horizontalmente
y contra los calzos de dilatación. La
próxima tabla a instalar deberá elevarse
un ligero ángulo para permitir que el
macho encaje en la ranura de la primera
tabla. Una vez que la tabla esté tendida,
empuje. Presione ligeramente las tablas
hasta que se ensamblen correctamente.
Como el click en el lado pequeno de la
tabla es diferente del click del lado largo,
para facilitar la instalacion, recomendamos
poner un pedazo de cinta adesiva al
empalme del lado pequeno de las tablas
de la primera fila hasta que sean todas
puesta. Ahora puede ser removida la cinta.
2) Continúe con las instrucciones de
PREPARACIÓN PARA INSTALAR.
NOTAS: 1) Las alfombras y revestimientos
interiores deben retirarse en los pisos de
concreto para evitar posibles problemas
de humedad. 2) Para pisos de calefacción
radiante, asegúrese de bajar la temperatura a
15 °C / 60 °F al menos una semana antes de

ACABADO
1) Retire los calzos de dilatación.
2) Cubra las juntas de expansión alrededor del
piso con la ayuda de cuadrantes o bases. Si
ha utilizado la barrera de vapor, no olvide
doblar la película de polietileno a lo largo
de las paredes, debajo de los cuadrantes y
bases. Fije estos productos a las paredes sin
pegarlos al piso.
3) Instale los moldes de terminación para
disimular las molduras de expansión donde
sea necesario (alrededor le las puertas,
donde haya más de 8 metros o 27 pies,
etc.).
4) Las tablas sobrantes pueden conservarse
durante años, almacenadas horizontalmente
en un ambiente libre de humedad.
Puede volver a colocar sus muebles en la
habitación.
MANTENIMIENTO
El fabricante recomienda limpiar el piso con
una escoba o aspiradora, o con un trapo
humedecido con una pequeña cantidad de
limpiador ya diluido. Las manchas tenaces
podrán eliminarse con un trapo que contenga
una pequeña cantidad de acetona.
Tambien puede usar el Swiffer® con las toallas
mojadas
Es aconsejado usar pedazos de fieltro debajo
de piernas de sillas y mezas para protejer su

DE 25 AÑOS
La entidad NIRVANA FLOORING garantiza
su producto por un periodo de venticinco
(25) años a partir de la fecha de instalación
original. La entidad NIRVANA FLOORING
garantiza que todos los paneles estratificados
de revestimiento de suelo NIRVANA
FLOORING (“los paneles”), instalados para
un uso residencial y commercial normal, no
comportarán ningún defecto de mano de obra
y no se decolorarán bajo el efecto de una luz
artificial o de la luz solar, no se mancharán ni
comportarán defectos de mano de obra en la
capa de decoración, y resistirán los daños del
agua en condiciones normales de utilización.
Los paneles que no alcanzen los resultados
previstos según lo especificado por NIRVANA
FLOORING serán sustituidos por otros productos
del mismo tipo, si todavía están disponibles, o
por productos similares de la línea actual. La
sustitución del / de los panel(es) no se hará a
cargo del usuario final.
GARANTÍA DE PREINSTALACIÓN DE LOS PANELES
ESTRATIFICADOS
Garantizamos su satisfacción para cada tabla
de piso laminado NIRVANA FLOORING. Si
queda insatisfecho por motivo de un defecto
visual, bastará con reenviarlo a su distribuidor
NIRVANA FLOORING, ANTES DE INSTALARLO,
con vistas a sustituirlo.
DATOS RELATIVOS A LA APLICACIÓN DE LA
GARANTÍA
• Esta garantía cubre la humedad ocasionada
por una utilización doméstica y commercial
normal como la utilización de zapatos
húmedos y el vertido de líquidos rápidamente
limpiables. Estas actividades domésticas
normales pueden dañar el suelo.
• Esta garantía excluye los fallos catastróficos
como los daños causados por inundaciones o
fugas de tuberías, grifos, aparatos domésticos,
etc, e incluso las inundaciones o los daños
causados por catástrofes naturales.
• Esta garantía no se aplica a los paneles
instalados con defectos visuales aparentes.
PREPARACIÓN PARA INSTALAR
1) Deje las cajas reposar sobre el piso por lo
menos 48 horas antes de la instalación en
la habitación en la cual se desea instalar
el piso.
2) Asegúrese de dejar al menos 12.5 mm o 1/2”
entre la parte superior del piso laminado y
la parte inferior de los radiadores.
3) Revise la separación entre las puertas y el piso
para garantizar la movilidad de las puertas
sin que éstas toquen la superficie laminada.
Se debe dejar un espacio suciente (8 mm o
5/16”) debajo de los marcos de las puertas
para permitir la expansión de los pisos.
El piso esta listo para uso imediatamente
despues de la instalacion.
6) Al llegar a la última línea, coloque una
tabla suelta justo encima de la última
tabla ya instalada. Proceda a colocar
otra tabla encima de la segunda, pero
separada 8 mm o 5/16” de la pared. Trace
una línea a todo lo largo de la tabla del
medio y corte sobre la línea trazada.
• Esta garantía no cubre los defectos ni los daños
a los paneles estratificados de revestimiento
de suelo NIRVANA FLOORING ocasionados
por (i) una instalación o un mantenimiento
que no cumplen estrictamente con lo
especificado en las instrucciones NIRVANA
FLOORING Laminate Flooring relativas a la
instalación y al mantenimiento , (ii) abusos
(ej.: utilización de abrasivos como lana de
acero para limpiar el suelo, desplazar objetos
pesados por el suelo sin ninguna protección
adecuada), o (iii) incidentes graves (ej.:
inundaciones, incendios, quemaduras).
• Esta garantía sólo se aplica al comprador y
al lugar de instalación originales y no puede
ser transferida.
• Esta garantía es válida para una instalación
residencial y commercial.
• El costo de la stalacion sera pagado por
NIRVANA Flooring solamente si el suelo fue
instalado por un profesional.
SERVICIO DE GARANTÍA
Para cursar una demanda, contactar con su
distribuidor NIRVANA FLOORING como máximo
30 días después de la fecha de constatación
o detección del defecto, decoloración o
mancha. Si la respuesta del distribuidor no
es satisfactoria, contactar con NIRVANA
FLOORING por teléfono en el 1-866-839-2888
x 11. Las pruebas de compra, como las facturas
de venta, son obligatorias para solicitar un
servicio de garantía.
4) Elimine todos los moldes y zoclos instalados
con anterioridad.
5) Limpiar y barrer
6) Aunque las tablas pueden ser instaladas
en cualquier dirección, como regla general
los pisos suelen orientarse de manera
perpendicular a las paredes con ventanas.
Es conveniente instalar las tablas paralelas
a la pared más larga para que la habitación
aparesca más grande.
INSTALACION DEL PISO NIRVANA
NIRVANA no necesita de cola para su instalación
y debe instalarse como “piso flotante”.
1) Mida la habitación para determinar si las
paredes están en ángulo recto y para calcular
el ancho de la última línea de tablas que va
a instalar. Para tablas menores de 50 mm
o de 2” de ancho, recorte la primera línea
para garantizar la estabilidad (no incluya el
macho de la tabla en sus medidas, puesto
7) Instale la tabla recién cortada, encajándola.
Inserte calzos de dilatación entre la pared
y la última tabla cortada para asegurarse
de que haya al menos 8 mm o 5/16” de
expansión.
8) Para instalar el piso alrededor de obstáculos
(tuberías, radiadores), sírvase de un lápiz
para señalar los puntos donde va a perforar.
Localice el centro y proceda a la perforación,
con cuidado de dejar 8 mm o 5/16” de
expansión. Corte la franja de tabla en
dos para que el trazo de corte pase por
el centro de la perforación. De esta forma
se podrá instalar la franja alrededor de la
tubería. Si el obstáculo se localiza en la
parte más larga de una franja, córtela en
forma de trapezoide. Si no, lo mejor es un
corte recto.
9) Cuando instala parquete de uncuarto a un
otro, es necesario separar los cuartos con una
moldura en T.
• Nota: esta garantía, con fecha de febrero
de 2005, se sustituye a todas las garantías
NIRVANA FLOORING anteriormente
publicadas, incluidas las garantías adjuntadas
al producto en el embalaje.
• La entidad NIRVANA FLOORING se reserva
el derecho de designar un representante
encargado de controlar el suelo y coger
muestras con vistas a un análisis.

NIRVANA tiene que colocarse sobre una supercie interior limpia, estable, plana, lisa y seca. Manipule los
paquetes con cuidado durante el transporte para no deteriorar las ranuras y lengüetas; la garantía no cubre la
instalación de tablas ya deterioradas. Antes de instalar las duelas, prevea una subcapa de polietileno plástico
de 0.2 mm o 0.008” de espesor, que ejercerá de barrera contra la humedad (consulte con su vendedor). No
deje la compra de sus moldes de terminación para más tarde. Contamos con una gran variedad de moldes
disponibles para complementar su piso NIRVANA.
Almacene su piso NIRVANA horizontalmente por espacio de 48 horas en su embalaje de origen, y a
temperatura ambiente (de 15 °C a 30 °C / 60 - 85 °F; la humedad relativa debe ser del 75% como máximo)
en la habitación en la que se desee colocarlo.
