In the never ending battle for political power, the first casualty
is always the truth. CBI Internal Investigator Jaidev Mishra is
assigned a new case. The job is to verify the reports submitted of
an official police encounter and close the case. As he uncovers
more and more facts about the case, he will have to choose
between saving his career and doing what is right.
En la continua batalla por el poder político, la primera víctima
es siempre la verdad. El agente secreto Jaidev Mishra es el
encargado de una investigación interna en un nuevo caso. Su
trabajo es verificar la autenticidad de un informe policial sobre
un choque con la policía. Mientras avanza en el caso tendrá que

A mentally challenged woman living on the Kolkata streets meets
a man in a similar condition on a rainy night. After her initial
refusals, the man succeeds in winning her friendship. Soon the
sociopolitical developments in the city affects their relationship
and leads to separation. Alone, she moves to deserted fields in
the outskirts and find solace. The man returns and looks for her.
When he eventually meets her, he realizes that things are not
same.
Una mujer disminuida mental que vive en las calles de Calcuta
se encuentra con un hombre en una noche lluviosa. Tras los
primeros rechazos el hombre consigue entablar amistad con ella.
Motivos sociopolíticos de la ciudad llevan un día a su separación.
Ahora ella se mueve sola y se establece en las afueras. Un día el
hombre vuelve y cuando finalmente la encuentra ve que las cosas
han cambiado.

PENCHALAMMA
Set against the backdrop of an upcoming Special Economic
Zone in Telengana region of Andhra Pradesh, Penchalamma is
the unheard voice of farmers across india. The film canvases
the growing affection of those towards Aparna, a “rational”
weather forecaster. On a rather sunny day, Penchalamma tells
Aparna that it will rain but Aparna thinks otherwise. Beautiful
clouds bring rain, Penchalamma wins. But she also loses the one
thing which kept her alive…
En relación con la construcción de Especial Área Económica
en la región de Telengana de Andhra Pradesh, Penchalamma
es la voz de los campesinos a lo largo de la India. Trata de
la creciente enemistad de los campesinos hacia Aparna quien
predice el tiempo que hará. En un día soleado Penchalamma
cuenta en contra de la opinión de Aparna que va a llover y
ocurre. Penchalamma gana pero también pierde algo que la

KUSUM
A young woman transvestite prostitute, Kusum, locked up in
her room, gears up for a regular night like any other. Just then
enters Purab, an out of job English literature teacher suffering
from Tourette syndrome and obsessive compulsive behaviour,
without a clue of the local language.
Una transexual, Kusum, está en su habitación preparándose
para una noche como otras. Justo entonces entra Purab, un
profesor de literatura inglesa que sufre del síndrome de Tourette
y un comportamiento obsesivo compulsivo, sin hablar mucho el
idioma local.

This story is about a boxer Hatim who like his failed father is on
the verge of losing it all. He is in debt, he is losing his matches
and has stopped communicating with his wife. He struggles with
the guilt and the agony of having lost his father. Doyam in Urdu,
means “second”. But is it second failure or second chance?
Es la historia del boxeador Hatim quien como su desastroso
padre está a punto de perder todo. Tiene deudas, ha perdido
a sus amigos y ha dejado de hablar con su mujer. Carga con
la culpa y la agonía de haber perdido a su padre. Doyam en
Urdu significa “segundo”. Pero ¿es el segundo desastre o la
segunda oportunidad?

This is a story of a boy who is afflicted by cancer and makes an
album of Black and White passport picture that he found as a
child. His brother is a filmmaker and he sees this book. Inspired
after watching the pictures, he begins to collect pictures of the
metropolis where they live, observing the changing horizon of
the city.
La historia de un chico que padece de cáncer y se recrea en
hacer un álbum de fotos de pasaporte en blanco y negro. Su
hermano es director de cine y ve el álbum. Inspirado por las
fotos comienza a coleccionar fotos de la ciudad donde viven
observando los cambios del horizonte de la ciudad.

bed. As cancer spreads through his system, he is gripped by a
sense of claustrophobia. The doctor and the nurse attending
on him live, lust and laugh.
