Having health insurance helps you get the healthcare you need at a low cost.
What is the Affordable Care Act (ACA)?
This is the law signed by the President which makes it possible for US citizens and legal
residents to receive affordable health care.
Enrollment began on October 1, 2013 and benefits begin on January 1, 2014.
There are people trained and certified to help you apply for health insurance. Those people
are called “assisters.” To find them:

The Marketplace is where you can apply for health coverage that fits your family budget.
After applying, you will be able to choose to enroll in one of several different health insurance
plans. If you qualify for Medicaid (AHCCCS), your application will automatically go to that
agency for enrollment. Thanks to the marketplace, all US citizens and legal residents can now
enroll in affordable health insurance.

What if I don't qualify for AHCCCS or the Marketplace?
On the marketplace website, you can look up your current pediatrician to see if he or she
participates in the plan you choose. If you use an “assister” to help you apply, be sure to tell
them the name of your child’s pediatrician.
Thanks to the marketplace, all US citizens can now enroll in affordable health insurance.

Seguro medico le ayuda a uno obtener atencion medica necesaria a un costo bajo.
¿Que es el “Acto de Cuidado Economico” ( Affordable Care Act - ACA), tambien
conocido como “Obamacare”?
El ACA es la ley firmada por el Presidente que hace posible que todos ciudadanos americanos y
residentes legales reciban cuidado asistencia medica economicamente.
La fecha para inscribirse empiesa el 1 de octubre 2013, y beneficios comienzan 1 de enero, 2014.

Hay personas que han sido entrenadas y certificadas para ayudarle a llenar la solicitud para el Seguro
de Salud. Estas personas son llamadas “asistentes certificados” (certified assisters).

 O llame al telefono: 1-800-318-2596
El Mercado (Marketplace) es donde usted puede aplicar por cobertura de salud dependiendo del
presupuestso economico y de las necesidades de su familia. Despues de aplicar, usted podra elejir de
los programas de cobertura ofrecidos por los diferentes planes de Seguro de Salud dependiendo del
costo que usted pueda pagar.
Gracias al “Mercado” (marketplace) todos ciudadanos Americanos y residents legales podran
inscribirse para recibir seguro medico economicamente.

¿Que pasa si no califico para AHCCCS o el “Mercado” (Marketplace)?
En la pagina del internet “Mercado” (marketplace) usted puede buscar si su pediatra participa en el
plan de seguro que usted escojio. Si usted se esta utilizando la ayuda de un “asistente certificado” no
deje de decirle el nombre del pediatra de su hijo/a.
Gracias al Mercado, todos ciudadanos americanos o residente permanente pueden inscribirse
para obtener seguro medico economico. Si usted no califica para AHCCCS o el
“mercado” (marketplace), llame al 602-218-3900 o por internet al [email protected]
