Contre-indication: le fonctionnement correct des stimulateurs cardiaques peut être perturbé par les oscillations ultrasoniques de haute

Contraindication: ultrasonic oscillations
may prevent cardiac pacemakers functioning
properly. Therefore, we recommend that patients
with a cardiac pacemaker should not be treated
with this product.
Use for the intended purpose only: before
using the product, make sure that you have studied and understood the operating instructions.
This also applies to any product used with this
system. Failure to observe the operating instructions may result in the patient or user suffering
serious injury or the product being damaged,
possibly beyond repair.
Do not use this product in the presence of
inflammable anaesthetics or gases.
This product must be used only by trained
and qualified personnel.
Always examine your Piezon® system for
damage before commencing treatment. Damaged accessories or a damaged product must
not be used and must be replaced. Use original
EMS spare parts and accessories only (see folded cover page).

Contraindicación: los marcapasos pueden

Before use, always disinfect, clean and
sterilize handpieces and instruments. Please
refer to the information provided in these operating instructions. Non-sterile handpieces and
instruments may cause bacterial or viral infections.

The instruments of your Restorative Master System oscillate at high frequency during the
treatment. In rare cases, these oscillations may
cause the instrument to fracture or the SP cap to
unscrew during the treatment. To prevent the patient swallowing or inhaling the fractured instrument or detached SP cap, he must be instructed
to breathe through the nose during treatment.
To avoid heat damage on the tooth, never
work dry, unless the instrument is intended specifically for this purpose. The end of the instrument immediately heats up when used dry. The
instrument must not be activated during more
than 10% of a maximum working time of 10 minutes with the "Dry Work" function. An incorrect
use may cause a deterioration of the handpiece.

Les instruments de votre Restorative Master System sont soumis durant le traitement à
des vibrations de haute fréquence. Dans de rares cas, un instrument peut se briser au cours du
traitement sous l’effet de cette vibration ou une
calotte SP peut se détacher. Afin d’éviter l’inhalation ou l'ingestion d’un morceau d’instrument
brisé ou d’une calotte SP détachée, vous devriez
informer le patient afin qu’il respire par le nez au
cours du traitement.
Afin d’éviter des lésions d’origine thermique
sur la dent, ne travaillez jamais à sec sauf avec
les instruments spécialement conçus pour cela.
Les pointes actives s’échauffent immédiatement
en travaillant à sec. L’activation des instruments
en mode "Dry Work" ne doit pas dépasser 10%

Die Instrumente des Restorative Master
Systems werden während der Behandlung in eine

Fällen kann diese Schwingung dazu führen, dass
das Instrument während der Behandlung bricht
oder sich eine SP-Kappe löst. Um das Inhalieren eines abgebrochenen Instrumententeils oder
einer gelösten SP-Kappe zu vermeiden, sollten
Sie den Patienten dahingehend instruieren, dass
er während der Behandlung durch die Nase atmen muss.
Zur Vermeidung von möglichen Hitzeschäden am Zahn oder an Ihrem Handstück, arbeiten
Sie, mit Ausnahme der dafür vorgesehenen Instrumente niemals trocken. Die Spitzen der Instrumente erhitzen sich bei trockenem Gebrauch.
Bei "Dry Work" Benutzung beachten Sie, dass
die Einschaltsdauer nicht über einen Zeitraum
von mehr als 10% der maximalen Arbeitszeit von
10 Minuten überschreit. Eine schlechte Benutzung kann zur Beschädigung des Handstückes
führen.

llevada a cabo exclusivamente por EMS o por un
agente autorizado por EMS.
Antes de su primera utilización, desinfecte,
limpie y esterilice los mangos y los instrumentos.
Para ello, siga las indicaciones descritas en las
instrucciones de empleo. Los mangos y los instrumentos no esterilizados pueden provocar una
infección de origen bacteriano o viral.
Los instrumentos del Restorative Master
System son sometidos a una oscilación de alta
frecuencia durante el tratamiento. En casos aislados estas oscilaciones pueden producir una
fractura del instrumento durante el tratamiento o
un aflojamiento de un casquillo SP. Para evitar
una inhalación o una ingestión de un fragmento
de instrumento fracturado o de un casquillo SP
aflojado, deberá instruir al paciente para respirar
por la nariz durante el tratamiento.
Para evitar eventuales daños de origen térmico en el diente, no trabaje nunca sin irrigación
salvo con los instrumentos que han sido especialmente desarrollados para este tipo de trabajo. Las puntas activas se calientan immediatamente al trabajar sin irrigación. La utilización
de los instrumentos con la función "Dry work"
no debe exceder de 10% durante un período de
utilización de 10 minutos como máximo. Una utilización incorrecta puede deteriorar el mango.

the correct torque. Once the instrument binds,
turn it a further quarter-turn. Push slightly the
CombiTorque® against the handpiece during
this quarter-turn.

The Piezon Cavity Instruments from EMS remove enamel and dentin thanks to oscillating
motions. These motions produce frictional heat.
Therefore never use the instruments dry. Please
use the Piezon® Cavity Instruments only with a
high irrigating liquid flow rate. Avoid using the
HVE (high volume evacuation) to ensure sufficient cooling of tooth and instrument. If the liquid
flow rate is too low, the instruments get worn very
quickly.

Before the Piezon® Cavity Instruments can be
used, the cavity must be pre-prepared with a
burr. Any existing restoration must be removed
completely before using the instruments.
Do not use the Piezon® Cavity Instruments
on metal or porcelain restorations as they might
be damaged.
For excavation of caries use a normal excavator. For an optimum of enamel or dentin removal
power the instruments need to oscillate. Pressing
the instruments too strongly on the teeth inhibits
the cutting speed (= removal power). Exert only
moderate pressure with the instrument toward
the cavity.

The instruments E, F, G, are working without liquid. Work with the Instruments E, F, G, only intermittently. The end of the instrument immediately
heats up. The instruments must not be activated
during more than 10% of a maximum working
time of 10 minutes. Use the "Dry Work" function
if available on your ultrasonic unit or a minimum
liquid flow rate.

Do not use the Instruments E, F, G, on
metal or porcelain restorations as they might be
damaged.
For condensing amalgam fillings with the instruments E, F, G use a dry amalgam mixture.
Fill the cavity depending on the size with small
portions of amalgam. Condense the amalgam
by pressing the instrument onto it gently. The indentations by the instrument E, F should overlap.
This increases the density and hardness of the
amalgam. Voids are eliminated. The amalgam is
pressed uniformly onto the walls and floor of the
cavity. Once one portion of amalgam has been
condensed, remove all traces of excess mercury.
While doing so, please use the extractor of your
dental unit. Conclude the treatment by hardening and burnishing the margin of the filling with
instrument G.

The instrument SP is intended for cementing
tooth-coloured inlays and onlays with highly
thixotropic, dual-curing cements such as ESPE
Sonocem®. The ultrasonic oscillations of the
instrument SP are transmitted to a dual-curing
luting composite via the inlay or onlay. The luting composite is thixotropic - it liquefies briefly
and spreads uniformly in the cavity. The inlay
or onlay can be seated properly without exerting pressure. The dual-curing luting composite
regains its firm consistency once the ultrasonic
oscillations have been switched off. The excess
luting composite can be removed easily and in a
controlled manner.

Screw a SP cap onto the instrument and tighten
the cap manually. Hold the instrument with the
SP cap on the inlay or onlay. Press the instrument SP for 2 seconds gently onto the inlay or
onlay. If necessary, move the SP cap to a different position to seat the inlay, onlay or laminate
veneer properly.

Solutions
No liquid flow when the foot
switch is activated
• Switch on the unit with the Power switch (and press the "Stand-By" button if you have purchased a Piezon®
Master 600)
• Increase the liquid flow rate
• If your unit has a "Dry Work" function, make sure this function is not activated
• Check the connections between the unit, the handpiece hose and the handpiece
• Disconnect the handpiece and check with compressed air for blockage. If yes, send the handpiece to your EMS
service team
• If you have purchased a Piezon® Master 600, disconnect the handpiece hose and check with compressed air for
blockage. If yes, send the handpiece cord to your EMS service team
• If you have purchased a Piezon® Master 600 or 400, make sure the bottle is properly installed
• If your Piezon® handpiece has a grey or black body, check whether it has a red or yellow coupling plug. If yes, use
a handpiece with a black, grey, blue or green coupling plug
• Send the unit to your EMS service team
No ultrasonic oscillations

• Contrôlez les connexions entre l’appareil, le cordon et la pièce à main
• Déconnectez la pièce à main et utilisez de l’air comprimé pour contrôler si elle est bouchée. Si c’est le cas,
envoyez la pièce à main à votre équipe de service après-vente EMS
• Si vous possédez un Piezon® Master 600, déconnectez le cordon et utilisez de l’air comprimé pour contrôler si le
cordon est bouché. Si c’est le cas, envoyer le cordon à votre équipe de service après-vente EMS
• Si vous possédez un Piezon® Master 600 ou 400, contrôlez la mise en place de la bouteille
• Si votre pièce à main Piezon® a un corps de couleur grise ou noire, vérifiez si le connecteur est rouge ou jaune.

• Envoyez le système à un service après-vente EMS

• Aumente el caudal de líquido
• Si su aparato tiene una función "Dry Work", asegúrese que la función no está activada
• Controle los acoplamientos entre el aparato, la manguera y el mango
• Desconecte el mango para verificar si existen obstrucciones, inyectando aire comprimido. Si el mango está
obstruido, envíelo al servicio posventa EMS

risulta ostruito, inviarlo ad un servizio di assistenza postvendita EMS
• Se avete un Piezon® Master 600, smontare il cordone del manipolo e controllare con un soffio di aria compressa,
se il passaggio è libero. Se il cordone del manipolo risulta ostruito, inviarlo ad un servizio di assistenza postvendita EMS
• Se avete un Piezon® Master 600 o 400, controllare il fissaggio del flacone
• Se il vostro corpo del manipolo Piezon® è grigio o nero, verificare se la presa di accoppiamento ha un colore
rosso o giallo. Se sì, utilizzare un manipolo con presa di accoppiamento di colore nero, grigio, blu o verde
• Inviare il sistema ad un servizio di assistenza postvendita EMS
