MILLENNIUM CHARTER HGH SCHOOL DRESS CODE Millennium strives to provide a safe, healthy and distraction-­‐free educational setting that promotes a respectful learning environment. Students at MCHS are expected to dress appropriately. Our students interact with staff from the Monterey County Office of Education, members of the community, and professionals from our industry partnerships. Wearing appropriate apparel prepares students for their future professional goals. When dressing according to the PHOENIX way, the following is NOT permitted: 1. See-­‐through or sheer fabrics, spaghetti strap tops, halter tops, strapless tops, tube tops, off-­‐the-­‐shoulder tops, bulging necklines, bare midriffs. All parts of stomach and back must be fully covered without pulling or tugging. 2. No oversized tank tops or tight fitting muscle shirts on boys. 3. Skirts and shorts shorter than the length of your fingertips. 4. Apparel, jewelry, or accessories that contain profanity or obscenity, sexual reference or references promoting gang association or violence and the use of drugs, alcohol or tobacco; or promote racial, ethnic or religious prejudice. 5. Area codes, Cal/Cali/NorCal/SoCal/California Flag/Map/Star /Bear (and any other variations) 6. Excessively torn, ragged or tight clothing. 7. No bandanas. 8. Clothing shall be sufficient to conceal undergarments (bras and underwear). Violations will result in parent contact, confiscation of prohibited articles and/or student will be required to change their attire. Continual violations will result in disciplinary actions per the administrator’s discretion. MILLENNIUM CHARTER HIGH SCHOOL CÓDIGO DE VESTIR Milenio se esfuerza por ofrecer un ambiente seguro, sano y libre de distracciones educación que promueve un ambiente de aprendizaje respetuoso. Estudiantes se espera que vistan apropiadamente. Nuestros alumnos interactúan con personal de la oficina del Condado de Monterey de la educación, miembros de la comunidad y profesionales de nuestras asociaciones de industria. Usar ropa adecuada prepara a los estudiantes para sus futuros objetivos profesionales. Cuando se viste según la forma de PHOENIX, es no permitido: 1. Las telas transparentes o pura, camisetas sin mangas (halter tops)/ , sin tirantes, tapas, , abultados escotes, desnudo estómago. Todas las partes del estómago y la espalda deben estar totalmente cubiertas sin estirar. 2. Blusas grandes ni ajustados o camisas músculos de hombre. 3. Faldas y shorts/ pantalon corto más cortos que la longitud de sus dedos. 4. Prendas de vestir, joyas o accesorios que contengan palabras groceras o obscenidad, referencia sexual o referencias promover Asociación de pandillas o la violencia y el uso de drogas, alcohol o tabaco; o promoción el prejuicio racial, étnico o religioso. 5.
