Rideshare Week is October 6-10 and there are great prizes to be won by participating in the week’s
festivities. Learn about alternative transportation options in Ventura County, pledge to share the ride,
and you’ll be entered to win. Prizes range from gift cards to an Apple iPad.
By carpooling, vanpooling, taking the bus or train, telecommuting, or even biking or walking to work, you
can save money and be a part of the Rideshare Week social network. Why not share the ride and
encourage your coworkers to do the same? It will help keep Ventura County air clean and clear. The first
1,000 pledges earn a prize!
There are many ways to participate in Rideshare Week and update your commute. Choose your
alternative transportation option(s) for the week, complete the attached pledge card and return it to me
by October 10 or send in your pledge online at www.GoVenturaRideshare.org. Pledging is your key to
